Sty151 - sorry for the delay in response. If you would please, download the latest version of GameEx and install it on your PC. You are presently showing as using version 12.61 and we are now at 12.79. Next, please provide a new copy of the log file from immediately after you attempt to play one of your files following the installation of the latest version. Also, please confirm your path is setup correctly and advise if this is a networked share or local to your PC. Thanks!

Why are you using MESS for that? I would heartily recommend using VICE or CCS64 (two of the most common and best according to most C64 enthusiasts).
-
Have to agree. I use them because I like the additional control in ordering my system, but have had no problems when I disable them. The only time I have seen anything amiss is when someone is trying to make the system work contrary to its design.
-
You would probably have to hit the GameBase site to find out.
-
That would be WAD.

Sounds like you might be dealing with an image path issue. Can you give an example of the emu in question and provide a copy of your emulator config (and customemenu.ini file if using custom menus)?
-
Within each emulator configuration (via Setup Wizard) you can assign a custom background for each emulator. Custom logos can be assigned if you are using Custom Menus and are assigned at the Item level.

Neil Armstrong was the first man to step on the moon. On July 20th, 1969 at about 4:17PM EST, the Eagle LEM landed at Tranquility Base. Armstrong manually landing it with about 30 seconds of fuel to spare. He departed approximately 6 hours after the landing. His quote "One small step for a man, one giant leap for Mankind" is perhaps one of the the most oft quoted. I recall watching the landing, as well as being allowed to stay up and watch beside my parents the grainy video along with "Uncle Walter Cronkite" giving his reverent commentary along the way. Today, he was laid to rest in a private ceremony on a day, of all days, that will host a "blue moon" (a second full moon within a calendar month). There will be various online viewings of the blue moon along with commentary and recollections of this, one of my childhood heroes. His family has asked that all of us take a few minutes to step outside and simply wink at the moon as you recollect. Honor him by doing some small service for a friend, loved one, or a total stranger. In some small way, our "small step" can help someone. Remember we can all be heroes to someone in some way.

I believe it is hard-coded for the location on the screen and sizes are all relative. I would use one of the default themes to determine the exact dimensions of the Please Wait box and placement of the place holder for the please wait bar. The # of frames for the bar I do not believe are static, however the height and width are.

Glad to hear you got things working a bit snappier. I have found that quite a few issues I have had that seemed like they were at first GameEx were actually caused by the way I had things setup in my OS. Often simplifying the features and services that are running will go a long way in making the experience more fluid and fun.

I would also look at cleaning up some of your paths. As an example from your gameex.ini: [CPWizard] CPWizardEnable=True CPWizardPath=C:\Program Files\CPWizard\CPWizard.exe CPWizardStarted=True CPWizardStartup=True Per your log.txt: 15:29:44.7 8/30/2012: CPWizard enabled 15:29:44.7 8/30/2012: CPWizard path invalid. Not using CPWizard This may not seem important, but it does make a difference if the correct path is available for a program that is enabled. If you are not using it, disable it Setup Wizard under the MAME settings section. Other things that can speed up your system is minimizing the amount of load on your CPU and GPU by disabling Aero Glass in Windows 7 and all the other graphic "bling" and slide the scale towards performance. If you are using this in a cab, you don't need Windows sucking more processor and GPU cycles than necessary.

My bad, misread, that's what I get for trying to work and help at the same time.

Yes, please, whenever we ask for the log file, we need it in its entirety. Thanks. Based on what I am seeing of what you did send us, 13:16 to 13:24 is about 8 seconds. Not hardly 30 seconds. Welcome back. If you would, please upload a copy of your gameex, ini and, more importantly, your log.txt file immediately following exit of one of the games. If you have not done so already, I suggest upgrading to the latest GameEx version first.
-
Awesome! Glad that worked out for you!

If I need more time I could just add a hideous amount more seconds to the timer or cancel and then click on my GameEx shortcut when I am ready? I guess I am just not seeing the logic for a pause function.

[LOGOS] KRC's Compilation Backdrops (Ongoing)

I think that one is much better! You are most welcome! -
[THEME] >>> Gameroom Theme Released!!!<<<
Draco1962 replied to Krakerman's topic in GameEx Media Projects
Well, it just seemed that you were "balls on fire" with busting out this theme well before any intent was mentioned about running on 3 monitors. I am sure you can understand that it might give some the perception that you "weren't getting your way with the feature request for 3 monitor support quick enough so you are going to hold back until you get it." You are correct, there are more than a few using both products. Hell, I have even toyed with HS a small bit early on, but did not find where it fit with my plans so have not wasted much time on it other than to look at it. -

[THEME] >>> Gameroom Theme Released!!!<<<
Draco1962 replied to Krakerman's topic in GameEx Media Projects
Well that is a shame. While I understand your desire to run it on 3 monitors, I guess I am not seeing what that has to do with completing the theme. GameEx has never run on 3 monitors and, while a nice thing if Tom and Headkaze can make it so, your rationale just doesn't add up to me. If everyone waited for the next enhancement to come out as an excuse to create a theme, then no themes would ever be created. /me shrugs -
There are many things that we could and should do that would lessen the cost of petrol that are not being done. I agree about the SPR not being touched.

Prices were already on an upswing here before Isaac. Will Obama release some crude from the Strategic Oil Reserves to help moderate the prices? If he does, he will do it not out of concern for the average Joe (he and his proponents think that gas prices are too low if they aren't pushing $6.00 a barrel) but out of concern for votes.

Set 1 is a subset containing part of set Player 1 and set Player 2 controls (the intersection of both sets) Set 2 is a superset containing set Player 1 and set Player 2 controls (the union of both sets) Damnit man! I am remembering Set Theory! And they say you will never use this kind of stuff once you get out of high school!
