  1. Bingo! It is Halo 2. Although she also says it in Halo 4, but who cares? She's also the reason I said Stig's ex was hot, because Cortana is smokin.
  2. That's probably my problem with stage 2 and beyond. I didn't think to press the button first, I was doing it backwards. I'll definitely come back and try to post a score here soon on this. My server kinda went down and is taking priority at the moment. Thanks for the tip @RedDog!
  3. My sub has an RCA plug on it, not an s-video'like port. If you can take it apart, you might be ahead to just forego the plug altogether and just solder a cable in directly. But if it were me, I'd just get a new one. If you've had it since you were a child, however long that was, it's probably a good investment.
  4. @stigzler Yup, just Xbox @Draco1962 oooh so close
  5. @tthurman nope @stigzler nope It's a hugely popular game. On Xbox.
  6. <sigh> Another TV show I still need to watch. Haven't seen any episodes of any season of any show (I know there was like 3 different shows I think). Someday. Still, it's sad to hear of the passing of a celebrity. Rest in Peace.
  7. I know what you mean. That's how I felt when Counterstrike Source came out. Same maps, just visually completely different. Thanks for the share!
  8. I posted about it in another thread.. .is there a good resource on where to get updates of mods like this?
  9. That map in the CTF game looks familiar. Is it a refresh of an existing one? And wow.. with it being opensource on github, I wonder if it'll be ported to run on a Raspberry Pi..
  10. Another possibility there @tthurman but incorrect!
  11. Yeah I don't know where I saw it from.. it was posted somewhere I frequently visit. I downloaded it, patched a copy of my Metroid game and played it to see if it works. Have yet to actually PLAY play it though. To be honest, I've never played ANY Metroid game (I know I know..). It's a work in progress. I have so many games I need to catch up with that I've never played... Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, Mega Man. I'll get there eventually. With the latest advances in the retroachievements.org scene.. there are cheevos for all of them. So that's the way I'm going to go about it.
  12. Nice guess @tthurman but incorrect @stigzler your ex is pretty hot
  13. Wow sweet! That was a totally random guess. I never played that one. I got to beta-test U.T.3 for Windows back in the day. Never actually got the game though. Here's an easy one: "Don’t make a girl a promise if you know you can’t keep it."
  14. You actually don't have it. If I had the means, I'd make an R2D2.
  15. I have Quake ported on my RetroPie. It's controls are wonky though so I've not been able to really play it. We had the original Quake shareware CD that comes with the full version just locked (easily hacked!) along with shareware (and then the full version too) of all the Doom games too. It was pretty awesome. Then we got Quake 2 as a Christmas gift. Then I bought Quake 3 Arena for my own computer (brother now had his own). Never played any other Quakes since then. Ok, so if I'm warmer.. I'd have to guess Unreal Tournament. Doom didn't really have kind of "death match" mode where you're competing against enemies, just hellish monsters. Latter versions of Doom (in the contemporary sense) might, but I don't recall Doom 3 for PC having the quote. For the next-gen consoles, it's anybody's guess since I don't own one. Games like Counter Strike didn't really have any quotes that I can recall. But this is all over thinking. It's probably one of those, but since I already mentioned them now, I can't win if it is lol. So I'm going to stick with Unreal Tournament. If not that, I'll try another guess.
  16. Has that guy come up with any new updates or videos showing off his new customized front end?
  17. I really wish I had a spinner or at least a good calibrated mouse. I love this game and it's genre, but it's unplayable for me. I tried playing the various ports on other systems. How in the heck are you supposed to react quickly using the dpad on the NES, where the "paddle" goes the same speed in either direction? There was a really good "made for PC" game that I'd love to play again but can't remember the name of it. It had lots of different ball types, like acid ball and things like dynamite/detonators. It let you save your progress every 10 levels or so, so you can keep coming back and continue to progress through the hundreds of stages. I never did finish it, but I was up to around 700 stages. Anybody remember what that was called? Updated OP, DB, RSS EDIT: It's called Ricochet! http://www.bigfishgames.com/download-games/genres/108/ricochet.html
  18. CHUBA!!! I can't believe I didn't get this one! They had this game set up running a demo in a computer store when it was brand new. It was hooked up with the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick. I loved it so much I bought the game and joystick then and there. I played the crap out of that game too. Too bad I lost the power cord to the controller in the fire, now I can't get any force feedback (which includes a self-centering function). I need to see if I can get a new power cord. But that quote.. I used to taunt guys all the time. ARGH!!!!
  19. I played this a bit to get familiar with it in the hopes of posting a score this month. I suck once I hit the 2nd stage. Updated OP, DB, RSS

    GYRUSS

Fakers. I actually learned how to play the first 2:30 minutes on my keyboard "by ear" when I was like 12 years old. Cause, yeah I'm awesome.
