  1. Holy crap! This game is really difficult! At least for me, I'm sure somebody will bust it. Score: 27,200 Initials: (n/a) If you wait long enough on the demo screens, it will show a high score table with names. My score wasn't high enough even for last place. So I'm sure one of you guys will definitely bust this score and actually have an opportunity to post initials. This is just my first try at this game, and it's insane! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  2. My score is a bit late, but as they say "Better late than never" Score: 2,800 Initials: HAN Probably shouldn't even bother posting it, considering it's the absolute lowest and most ridiculous score ever. But hey, least I participated right? I just have a new found respect of Stephen, that's all I have to say. Updated OP, DB, RSS
  3. Here's my first entry for this one: Score: 92,901 Initials: HAN I actually thought I did pretty good, till I came here to post and saw be77amy's was about 50k higher than mine! This is going to be a tough one! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  4. And be77amy gets the first submission again! Way to go! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  5. Here's my 1st entry! Score: 26050 Initials: HAN Kinda sucks, I noticed (at least for me) that it doesn't save the in game scores after you close it down. I had 1 score (only like 7k) and closed it down then I reopened it an hour later or so and that score wasn't there anymore. Oh well. Side Note: this game is a LOT harder than it used to be on the Atari. LOL! Still, it's fun. I think the player's ostrich moves a lot faster side to side than on the Atari. Updated OP, DB, RSS
  6. If you want something REALLY scary, play some rare Japanese imports that you've never heard of before and they'll will make you raise a serious eyebrow and say WTF? Now THATS scary... lol
  7. Dead Space is like Resident Evil in space, sorta. I haven't played the sequels yet, but the first one has a lot of shock if you play it at night, in the dark. The game itself is very dark, so it helps with the atmosphere to play it IN THE DARK. Doom 3 was like that for me when I first played it. It's those incidents where you figure everything is going fine, then all of a sudden something flashes, theres a loud screech or orchestra single note hit and it makes you jump a mile. They get you when you least expect it. Sure it's more in the horror category with blood on the walls, etc, but there are definitely some intense OMG moments.
  8. Good job guys! Nice to see such eager enthusiasm in this month's GOTM. Looks like we're going to have a fun month! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  9. Wow setting the bar high with this one! Good job be77amy! I'm definitely looking forward to playing this one. Lots of fond memories playing remakes for other consoles of this series. Updated OP, DB, RSS
  10. Good job be77amy! Even though it's the lowest score on your game's table, it's good enough for 4th place here! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  11. The only time I've ever played this was on our Atari 800. I'm looking forward to seeing how everybody does.
  12. I didn't get to participate or donate, but I had heard about the project. I think from here? I'm very excited and look forward to seeing this released.

  16. And this month's Game winner is stephen - 111,230 (link) Congrats! GC should be in contact with you shortly with instructions on obtaining your GOTM winner's badge/signature. Wear it proudly! That being said, I'd like to take this opportunity to remind everybody that you can still take advantage of playing this game and posting highscores. While you may not be able to earn the GOTM winner title, you can still beat out Stephen's score and claim 1st place. It will help you bolster your position over on our overall leaderboard (link). But you don't need to be in first place to have a good ranking; simply posting any score will earn you some points to get on the board, so join in the fun and play with us!
  17. I think I misread this, but after 2nd reading my mind gears are rolling.... perhaps a high score option for emulators? That opens up a whole new can of worms that we don't really even need to start looking at just yet. But the possibilities are enticing. Thanks for your hard work Adultery. I hope you're not taking all your free time up to build plugins and utilities for us. Take a break man!
  18. Alan Wake is a good horror type game, reminds me of the Silent Hill stuff. There's also Dead Space.
  19. I don't really play PC games very much anymore. Mostly just emulator stuff and then my Xbox. On the Xbox though, I'm a Halo fanboy and don't really like all those Battlefied, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor games. Halo has a great story, and to me it's more fun killing aliens.
  20. Also FYI; I tried River City Ransom a while back. I was playing it on my modded Xbox 360 using the FCE emulator. It was pretty cool. I'm interested in seeing this new game now.
  21. I've never heard of docklets or Rocket Dock. Sounds like a replacement OS theme like Stardock. Anyway, those images DO look really nice. Good work!
  22. This looks really cool, can't wait to see what come of it.
  23. Wow nice update! Thanks guys!
  24. That is pretty much what he said. Thanks for the kind words guys. I wasn't posting this thread because I felt I needed too. I just wanted to alert everybody who cares enough to maybe wonder where I was and let everybody know I'm doing better. I wish there was something that could be done for me. In the end, they said there wasn't anything identifiable, and gave me another prescription for Vicodin to take for the pain. Trouble is, when I take that stuff (even though it DOES help) it plugs you up like crazy, and then you have cramps of a different kind. It is weird though, so far this year it's happened pretty much every 3 months without a hitch. So I don't know if it's diet related or not. I eat pretty much the same stuff all the time, don't really try new things. Oh well, I'm sure with enough time and research it'll show itself eventually.
