I already have Windows 7 installed. I'm not going to upgrade to Windows 8 for GameEx Evolution. There's way to much stuff to have to reinstall.

I prefer Rygar on a console (NES) rather than the arcade. I can't get anywhere decent with that insta-death on one hit always getting me. Good score ExedExes, definitely better than mine! Updated OP, DB, RSS

Just thought I'd try to get us back on topic a bit here.. Dazzle, make sure if you do make any UPDATES, be sure to log it with our (now customary) "Updated OP, DB, RSS, LB" flags, so we know we don't have to make those changes when we see them. It definitely helps a lot when you come online and see new scores, and then see it's been updated so you don't have to worry. Hope you like your new digs!

Woot Woot!! I'll see if I get some free time tomorrow to give this a whirl. I really love the idea, and can't wait to get it all working. Are you still planning on eventually incorporating everything so it works fluidly from GameEx without having to use the Launcher as a means to LAUNCH the select system/rom?

Have you tried running the emulator outside of GameBase to see if you are able to configure it the way you want to first? I've found that helps a lot when trying to get the fullscreen switches to work just right with emulators. I don't have the Vic20/WinVice emulator to try it with you, but I promise you: If you can make it work in standalone, it's 99% working with GameBase after that. The only trouble with GameBase would be to make sure you have the GEMUS configured with the proper command line to execute the emulator in the correct configuration.

This game was suggested by Adultery and requested to be made a game in our competition "ahead of schedule". We like this game so much we decided to go along with the request. Enjoy!

Yup that's what I was doing, hitting them back at him. I also had a few hits on him from my hammer directly, but he gets too close and I usually lose a life.

Brutal Legend... interesting game. I never finished it on my Xbox... Jack Black and Ozzy are in it, that's cool. Oh, and I'd KILL for your 7mb speed, even if it is DSL. I have cable..Road Runner, and it's only 2mb (even though we're paying for 10, but we don't get it). I only get the 2mb if it's 3:00am and I'm downloading from USENET.

Exactly, I don't want people to feel left out if they can't beat the #10's spot. They may not make it into our DB, and thus earning Leaderboard points, but it gets them "in the door" and participating. Maybe they're not so good on that game, but we got lots more to try and a bunch of them without all 10 spots filled up. So unless we get a LOT more people playing, posting scores in the OP tables isn't that big a deal.

I saw GameEx Online from somewhere, and it probably was the PinballX forum. I don't have a pinball cab (but I really REALLY want one) so I haven't really done much more than lurk that area of the forum once or twice since it all started. Sounds like a cool thing to have, though I really don't understand the benefits. Xbox 360's modded dashboard "FSD" has remote access too, with abilities to manage paths, artwork, remote launch, view live screenshots, etc. I just don't see the need to have such access, and in fact makes me nervous about OTHER's being able to remote access your stuff. But all-in-all it's great seeing new things, and I'm excited to see what comes next!

Well apparently we have a number of games now that are beyond 10 players, and it looks like GC was willing to keep the lower scores still on the OP board, at least for the games he updated. That's how I was playing it too. I mean, if we get like 50 or more people participating, then yeah; 10 scores or so. But we only have like 15 people at most (18 to be precise) playing anyway, so it's not that big a deal right now.

Just to alert everybody.. the leaderboard for this game is now FULL as far as our Database program Adultery created it concerned, so I'm unable to add more users, instead I have to remove the lowest scores from the board. This raises a question of concern and thought I'd get the community's opinion on the matter... Just because the DB program is limited to 10, we can still update the OP leaderboard and have more than that. Should we keep the lowest scores on the board, or just remove them? For now, I'm going to leave them.
