They had it on their website before the movie came out too. Don't know if it's still there. http://games.disney.com/wreck-it-ralph-fix-it-felix-jr

OOoo trackball. I would have updated the leaderboards, but your image doesn't match your submitted score... you say you earned 8,759,950 but the screenshot shows 7,453,410. Can you double check that for us?

Thanks guys, got lots of reading to do.

I never played it, and really never played it on any consoles either. Doesn't look very fun to me. I'm sure there is a lot of competition coming for this game though, so here's to ya!

So since we're on the topic... The day I've been dreading is nearing. My HDD I have on my server as the OS drive is failing. I've noticed a steady decline (thanks to HD Sentinel) in it's pending write sectors and uncorrectable sector read/writes. In fact, it's also started to detect bad sectors. It's not dead yet, but it's on it's death bed hooked up to life support. The problem I'm going to experience very shortly is the dreaded OS crash and inability to recover data stored on the 12 other drives. So I'm in desperate need for help, and a miracle. My OS of choice is the v1 of WHS (Windows Home Server). I built it when WHS came out, and really want to stick with it. The advantages of v1 over the v2 reboot is all to do with the drive management. v2 removed all instances of drive management. You can't just add any old drive and have it magically appear in the storage pool. And you can't just remove it and have the software re-locate the moved files. It also removed file duplication, which is mandatory if you have any desire to keep your files should a drive begin to fail. Currently my system is setup as: Drive - Type/Size - Function 1 - Sata 500gb - (C:\ [os] 20gb , D:\ [storage] 480gb) 2 - Sata 500gb - (500gb [storage]) 3 - Sata 500gb - (500gb [storage]) ... - various 1tb, 500gb, - [storage] 13 - Sata 1tb - (1tb [storage]) 14 - Sata 500gb - (500gb [temp backups]) If any drive between 2-13 fail, their files remain backed up via the file/folder duplication of WHS v1. If drive 14 fails, I lose whatever files I had temporarily saved while in process of migrating into the 2-13 storage pool. This is also the location where I store downloading torrents, etc. If drive 1 fails though, I lose EVERYTHING. Even though the files are stored on drives 2-13, their LOCATIONS (original and duplication) are stored in what are called "tombstones" which are located on the C partition of drive 1. If anything happens to the tombstones, then no data can be recovered. Now the kicker... You can't simply mirror or clone Drive C, or drive #1. The way WHS works is by the digital fingerprint of the serial number of each drive. It doesn't recognize a drive any other way. So in order for a file to be accessible, it needs to be read from the tombstone on the drive which created it. If that drive fails, your just SOL. And wouldn't you know? THAT'S THE DRIVE THAT IS FAILING!!! There are ways around all this though. OPTION 1 - I could somehow find a CHEAP 8tb drive (my ORIGINAL files are 8tb in size, with another 8tb for duplication) and copy all my files to that drive, then install a brand new drive, then reinstall WHS, then re-copy everything back over to the fresh server. The problem with this solution is there are NO cheap 8tb drives, or to my knowledge ANY 8tb drives. OPTION 2 - Somehow find a way to move everything off the server onto other smaller drives, and repeat solutions in Option 1. The problem with this solution is (1) I don't own any other drives (2) I can't afford to go buy a shit ton more drives simply for temporary storage. OPTION 3 - Burn off. Burn all content I have backed up onto removable media such as BluRay disks. Then continue with solutions in Option 1. Again, the problem with this solution is the lack of funds to purchase enough disks to backup the entire library. OPTION 4 - Find some method of replacing drive #1 without losing the all to precious digital fingerprint and tombstones. The problem with this, is that I don't know if it's possible. I believe there are ways to clone the OS drive and it would migrate seemlessly in any other circumstance, but because of the way the WHS structures it's filesystem and secures the data storage, I don't think it's possible. OPTION 5 - Throw it all away. Replace the OS drive, reinstall WHS. Start fresh from scratch and completely rebuild the shared storage. This would include another 3 years of re-ripping and re-encoding movies, re-ripping and re-encoding music, re-downloading tv shows, re-organizing everything. I would play it safe though and backup non-recoverable files such as photos. This solution is the beat all end all. It would work. But I'd really appreciate an alternative. Anyway, sorry to hijack this thread with my own problem. But I'm at a point now where things needs to happen and I need the help of others to bring me through it. I just don't know what to do, and I don't know what solutions I have. I'm pretty poor. One thing I'm considering is replacing the OS drive with a solid state drive, but again, I can't afford nothing great. Are SSD's reliable? Will they eventually crash like regular HDD's do? Please somebody, anybody, give me advice!

I don't have Disney XD. Wish I did, or I'd be all over Rebels. Still, I can stream it online via [link]. It's all legit so no need to worry about getting in trouble over it. Anyway, they have the season 6 of Clone Wars on Netflix, and coming out on BluRay soon [link] so we can still get our Clone Wars fix. I too am severely concerned over Disney's takeover on Lucas. First of all, they destroyed LucasArts, and that means no more Star Wars related games. I was excited to learn about the new game Star Wars 1313 [link] just to find out that it's been canned with an indefinite release date. Then they get JJ ABRAMS to come on to direct Episode 7, and while I did enjoy his take on the Star Trek reboots, I felt like it was unnecessary, and completely ruined the series from a fans point of view. I fear a similar direction will be taken with Star Wars. They already announced that the past 30 years of created Extended Universe is now completely trash, even though it was all processed through George Lucas and approved to be canon. The final nail in the coffin was Disney taking Star Wars away from Dark Horse comics, who had done an incredible job over 20 years bringing the universe together. Now we're going back to Marvel's take on the Star Wars universe, and it sucked so bad in the 80's. I've already seen the covers to the first book and they look absolutely horrid. I fear for Star Wars. I really do. They couldn't leave well enough alone. I hope and pray everything comes out ok in the end. Oh yeah, and I liked the Tie Fighter, X-Wing games. Still have them on CD somewhere. Granted they can play on current systems now, but I'm not at all interested in buying them again for that sake alone.

[NEWS] Reformed Leaderboard Launches
hansolo77 replied to DazzleHP's topic in GameEx Hi-Score Competition
FYI.. this is part of a much larger "update" to our competition, which will be coming down the pipes later. We're still working on the details and such and don't want to get ahead of ourselves. This was a good first choice option to get things moving more smoothly to where we want to take things. Keep watching! -
Very Nice! Just in time too, the competition for the GOTM is almost over, everybody else should be getting their scores in soon... Updated OP, DB, RSS (Edit by GC: updated LB)

I got that email today too. I don't know, I still own my original copy of the game, and even though I enjoyed it at the time, I don't really have much desire to grab this and test their online servers. I think it's because I still have my original copy, the idea of owning 2 copies doesn't really appeal to me. -
I never owned it, but I always end up playing a bit of Super Mario Brothers (NES). I also play a lot of Sonic 1 (Genesis) because it was the first true console game we had.

I'm not good with batch files, but I seem to recall somebody amongst us is actually really good. You could probably create a batch file to do what you want. Using FOR statements and such.

[RESOLVED] Daemon Tools Hanging Making Other Programs Hang
hansolo77 replied to uberpubert69's topic in General
99.99% Sounds like Daemon Tools might be messed up. Have you tried to launch it outside of GameEx? Maybe it didn't dismount the last game and can't mount a 2nd one? Another thing, I wonder if maybe Daemon Tools got corrupted? Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling it? -

Man nobody at work remembers Davey and Goliath. A real shame. It's on in the morning sometimes when I go to work. Nobody is in the break room so I turn it on. People are like, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! Same with this guy:

I compiled recently just fine. You only have 1 version of the mame source in your folder right? Also, the only diff you need (unless you're building the UI) is the highscore one, there are no u patches yet. And make sure your checkboxes in the extra options are all setup correctly. One thing I noticed, and I hope HK will update the compiler for. There needs to be a way to have you choose an OUTPUT folder, so you don't include the src folder when you're done compiling. It's like 200+ megs of unnecessary fluff. Also, the compiling options only include Win32 OS, yet we're compiling a Win64 build. Might have something to do with your problem. One last thing. Did you try restarting the compile after it craps out, without erasing everything and starting over? The first time I built, it gave me an error, but I just started it up again and it continued on.

Run GameEx in a window for a moment. Update List. After GameEx gets so far, MAMEUI64 pops up a dialog box reporting how many roms it found.. You have to click the OK button to allow GameEx to resume. A way around this is to turn off Verify Roms in the setup wizard. Hope that helps. I noticed this the other day when I was updating my own romlist.

Yeah my brother came over yesterday and we played a bunch of stuff. He actually wasn't all that too interested in MAME but played a bit with me for those scores. He was more interested in getting the Xbox 360 loaded up and playing some Rock Band. At the very least, I'm a bit more motivated to play some more.

My brother was telling me about this game, but I'm no good. The first couple times I tried to play this, I shot right away at the guy with the masks on. Then he explained that you get more points waiting until he "draws". Makes since I guess. Took a bit of practice getting there, but I started to get the knack of it. Then I hit level 2 and it was all over. Hat's off to you gents in the upper tiers of this board. I'm never gonna get there. Score: 37,000 Level: 2 Initials: HAN Proof:
