  1. Yeah Netflix discontinued their 3rd party API. That means things like their RSS feeds, and listings are unavailable for people to write plugins and apps for. Kinda bummed about it because the ones built into our BluRay players all suck, and the MediaBrowser boys were working on a really great plugin but had to give up on it. The only options available now are the officially licensed Netflix apps. One thing you can do though, is use GameEx's built in web browser and just point a link to their website. You could also configure a random emulator page for it.
  2. I've not heard of them, but then again I don't get out to arcades much. They may not be MAME playable because of the limitations of MAME itself. I remember going to a movie theater and playing Star Wars Trilogy Arcade which turned out to be a Model 3 game and required a special emulator. A lot of the newer games are like that. Check into that.
  3. Least it's better than your last. Updated OP, DB, RSS
  4. Sweet Jesus! Way to go EE! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  5. Better than me, I'm still stuck on level 1. Updated OP, DB, RSS
  6. It's been here, you just weren't looking hard enough! Moved up a spot, good job! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  7. Indeed, great score! Puts you right at the top! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  8. Won't work. I looked at the site. It brings you to a page for each game, and has the game loading in a flash frame. I can't figure out how to make it go full screen. So having GameEx link it probably wouldn't work since you'd still have to use the mouse to click into the frame to start the game. Would be nice if you can figure out a way to link directly to the flash applet. Also, I tried to run Duke Nukem 3D (it was at the top of list I saw) and my browser locked up with a script error. So something's not working right. Plus, when it DIDN'T crash, I still couldn't control anything.
  9. It could be that loader... I don't use them very much, I think I only use one on Visual Pinball. You say you built it. Is it possible you have something wrong? What happens if you try it without the loader? I use MAPKEYS and have a configuration made to exit games with a certain joypad button combination. You could do something similar. On the 2nd page of the emulator config, there is an option called "Advanced Config". There is one in there to exit the process with an ESC key. Give that a try.
  10. Wow great improvement there MO! From 8th place to 4th! May I ask, where did you acquire this research, and would you care to share it with the rest of the class? Updated OP, DB, RSS (edit by GC: Updated LB)
  11. Nice improvement... I tell you guys what.. You make a man feel bad for not participating, that's for sure. Hopefully once all these holidays are out of the way, and work beings to slow down, I'll have some free time to give these a whirl. Of course, I'm not competitor, so my scores really aren't going to matter much. I just feel out of place in the community, not having any GOTM badges, and only played a handful of our games. It'll come soon, I'm sure. Updated OP, DB, RSS
  12. Yeah I played this for about 30 minutes before I finally figured out what you're supposed to do. I still don't know if there are more stages, but it looked to me like you had to time the shooting, like a Wild West "Draw" showdown. And there appears to be some guide that shows what doors you've killed a guy at. I imagine once you've done all the doors, the stage would change, but I never made it that far, LOL! Other than, I'm not sure.
  13. Still a couple hours out for me, but Happy New Year from Columbus Ohio!
  14. Yeah it sounds like GameEx is retaining it's focus and not allowing the emulator to go full screen. Post your ini so we can take a look at how you have it configured. For kicks, here is my command line for Atomiswave (using DEMUL): DEmul.exe -run=atomiswave -rom=[ROM] I also have Show Desktop set to yes.
  15. What can I say? Spending hours on a single game is rewarding enough. But, you did take over 1st place, which is awesome. Hope you don't have the theme song stuck in your head for too long. Updated OP, DB, RSS
  16. There's lots of things you can do. I only wish I was intelligent enough to do stuff on my own, without online guides and such. Everybody else does all the legwork and I just copy what they did. Still, it's a nice device for tinkering and I'd love to get one of my own (or 2 or 3).
  17. Lol who edited my post... you scoundrels!
  18. It's not the best, but it's certainly better than mine! Plus you beat your previous score, so it's win-win for you! Updated OP, DB, RSS
  19. Added another 100k to your score, MO.. good job! Updated OP, DB, RSS

  21. "It is what it is". At least you're letting people know ahead of time, should they decide to purchase a license. This way it's not not a total sudden surprise and people would be like "I didn't know"... You have posted it.. right here. Cover your butt at least. It's a shame you'll have to potentially drop PayPal. They've always been real good to me, never had any problems with them. I hope whoever you do end up with will give you decent services.
  22. My first suggestion is to make sure the games run outside of GameEx. Fusion may not be properly configured. Try to load the games directly inside the emulator first. After that, try loading GameEx and give it a run. If it's still failing, try editing the .bat file in "Run Last Game" from the Windows Start Menu -> GameEx -> Utilities. Add the word "pause" (without quotes) and try running that. That will give you the command prompt line GameEx is attempting to launch. If it doesn't look right, 9 times out of 10 you can figure it out pretty easily where you goofed up and can fix it. Some notes about Fusion. Configuring of the BIOS is absolutely necessary to be correct. You not only need the console BIOS, but also the CD-ROM BIOS. Also bear in mind that JAP games require the JAP BIOS... so if you're having trouble booting games, check that. Also, Fusion is capable of "in-emulator" mounting. You don't need to run an ISO, etc through something like Daemon tools. This usually flubs up most people. Check to make sure GameEx isn't configured to attempt mounting. If you have any further difficulties after following these steps, feel free to post back. If you have resolved your issue, please edit the topic thread to include [RESOLVED] so we know you've been taken care of. Good luck! EDIT: Quick little side note, the rom filter should be *.iso;*.cue there shouldn't be an extra ; at the end of cue. This is mostly only required for LISTING the roms anyway. If I were you, I'd test out (outside of GameEx) running both ISO and CUE games. I believe ISO's won't work. Has to do with the way CD's are manufactured. They work for DVD's, but I believe SegaCD MUST BE in bin/cue format. My configuration is with *.cue only.
