If you mean that the backglass of an EM table has no score, you properly have a wrong b2s fe. If you dont see the vpinmame rom, you need to enable it in vpinmame. Best way is to use fteezy"s dmddevice.dll as this also support colorized roms. Setup the dmddevice.ini and if a SS table is loaded, hit f1 to get the vpinmame table and check the "use externall dll" or something(not at cab now). At next start of the game. It will shows you (if you setup dmddevice.ini jcorrectly) a small virtual DMD on your playfield. You can drag this and move it to your your backglass. You can also resize this window.

Ok. Maybe with an update of pinballx, delete the flash.ocx before installing the update. Or if you have a spare disk, try to install w10 on it
-
Great that it worked! Databasemanager can populateall of your of tables and if the author programmed the table correct it will fill in the rom. About your other 2 issues(flash and dwmapi), i'm not sure. Tey to repair your OS. Eun SFCSCAN /NOW for exapmple..

Whats the issue with it ? Just showing the pinballx video and no matching rom found ? Try to add manually from a table that doesnt show, the rom name in your database file (database manager tries to do it automatically). Save the file and retry in pinballx. I dont use it, but tested it a couple of months ago and was working fine with my pindmd3 device

Yes. There are some mega links. Not sure if they are in the manual, but definitely are in our support thread (see the 'user project' section and mostly on top). To be honnest, I prefer the gameex ftp. It cost you some money, but thats for maintaining all the gameex servers. Lot of media on it, with some space for yourself Off course it is..scutters and I created it. Yes. You can select all the entries and delete them as bulk. You can choose to delete media as well. With the audit media, you can also check if there is unused media that can be deleted. Can save some kb/mb or even gb's You must have a slow system. My xml's are loaded in ms. Tom did a good job with game list manager, but Scutters and I missed some functionality and created this tool. Just to make all easy (and fast) You will see huge different if you use zen fx3 database file No problem. Glad you like it. And if you have a functionality that we can add. Just let us know

What is ProcessTamerTray.exe which you launch at start script ? The dwmapi.dll is a windows dll, and althought pinballx is generating the error , i dont think a re-install of pbx will help (but you never known) Don't you have a spare drove where you can install a clean os(w10) and start migrating all your tables/emulators?

[RESOLVED] Backglass size while in PBX Frontend - Small and in corner
Mike_da_Spike replied to lees1964's topic in General
Fp playfield is a bit hard to capture with ffmpeg. I think i created a thread post to capture it with hardware capture. I'm not using FP , so not sure what the best option is -

Ffmpeg.exe is needed for recording pinballx videos as well so a couple of our programs rely on the ffmpeg.exe within the pinballx directory. On the ffmpeg official website you can download the complete package, but you only need ffmpeg.exe in the pinballx directory. Hope that make sense That why I said: a few free pints is always good. So you dont have to win (and I know some british guys that when they drink more and more pi ts they cant see the pool balls anymore) -

Dont you want some free pints during pool day ? Not sure where @lees1964lives, but properly there is something to arrange -
Did you also use the latest backglass server files? It waa released a couple of weeks ago. And did you modify freezy's dll in the flexdmd folder and not in pinmamw folder ? (Option to upgrade your OS as well?)

Very strange week for me. Planning was to release this a couple of days sooner, but sometimes the day will go different as you planned As always, this is a team project from @scuttersand myself, so also a big thanks to him for helping the last couple of years to develop Databasemanager to the product it is right now. And still we find extra features to add and make it more easy to use, thanks buddy ! I really appreciate your help on this I made a video (no Voice over as Scutters didn't want to do it ), from installing the new version with the new features. I realized when I just uploaded the new version, that I didn't have anything to show how Video rotation is working. This is especially for people that download/import playfield videos that are rotated incorrectly. option is easy. Right click on the PF video, and rotate the video, so it match to how PinballX wants to present it Some other options I have tried to show in the video next video : at 1:25, I show the multiline option for the comments. Very handy if you want to add some notes per table at 2:15 I show an option that it can record the backglass video, even when you have unselected 'Hide during game'. By default PinballX will skip recording this. when the checkbox is unselected. When you unselect the "hide during game", the backglass video/image will be showed during launch as well thanks to @Denys06who wanted this feature at 4:20 I show that you can add Backglass images and use of backglass videos. With this option, it plays the video during PinballX, starting the game, will show the image and when table is loaded, the Directb2s file is on top, so almost a seamless start of a table. thanks to @MrGrynchthat found this function that Scutters and I where not aware of at 5:30 I start PinballX to show how it looks to have the image and videos The part of backglass recording and backglass image is the same behaviour for Topper and DMD as well Again, thanks to @scutterswho is a great help for adding functionality to DBM !

Good to hear mate. Maybe it was hardware related

Can you post your pinballx log file and pinballx.ini ? And post a screenshot of your visual pinball settings screen

Default PINBALLX shows in PinDMD
Mike_da_Spike replied to Tyboderek's topic in XDMD - DMD Display Library
Pinme can show the actually rom of the table . But that wont cover all the tables. I made a tool that will create (real) dmd videos, based on wheel, year and company. For me that will show every table in the same way.easy setup and will always do the missing dmd videos. You can downlosd it from the download section -
Sounds like a beast. Rtx 3080 with core i9 ?

Well amd doesnt fit on an intel socket ...

Thats a drastic fix. Replacing your mb for not exiting pbx An Easter present for you !

Even after my Windows update, al is working as expected This is my Visual pinball layout. I have disabled ESC key and set override default button layout. Don't have mapped a Joy button for exit : What I do have is set Force exclusive mode : I noticed that you don't have that setup in Pinballx : Maybe that will help if you put it to yes ?
-
I had a w10 update yesterday as well. I will check in a few hours. You not using teamviewer , right ? This causes a huge delay wit visual pinball 10.7 Not sure how pbx ends the process. But think it just kills the process of visual pinball.
-
I cannot think of a solution. Maybe a stupid question. Do you momentarily press the exit button, or you keep it pressed ? I just tested once that when I pressed my exit button, that PinballX would not respond to it at all. And end up with a crash of PinballX. But wasn't able to reproduce this anymore. sorry, Out of options to help you

Do you have visuapinball.exe run as admin ? There should be no need to have the same button mapped in vp and pbx to exit emulator. The frontend should take care of it
