  1. Yeah, google it BKenobi.. Or perhaps you should have used the force Perhaps FLV support would be a bonus, though I really think the video support that GameEx has already is more than acceptable. It is really easy now days (and quick) to convert formats.
  2. I do feel quite lonely doing this Glad to help though.. Working through the Colecovision at the mo. Hopefully will not take too long
  3. If it is not a key problem, have you deleted the Gameex starting image or moved it. If this is missing then it displays the register screen instead. This happened to me when i was creating a new theme and stumped me. Try changing to another theme and see if that is it?
  4. Will this madness ever end??? Anyway, here is the Dreamcast DB. It contains 389 descriptions covering all USA & EURO releases and some of the most popular Japanese games. I will perhaps at some point add all the Dreamcast games (818 in total) to have a 100% complete DB, but for now this is MORE than enough really for all but the most committed collector (seeing as 200+ of the games are unplayable without a full understanding of Japanese). Also (thanks HK) is ANOTHER updated Saturn DB. This one has the SINGLE date error corrected and also adds a few more games. I think I have deserved a little rest for a bit and will then continue with the Intellivision or Coleco. The Spectrum one is SLOWLY filling up as I do the snaps for Emumovies and will prob be complete at the same time as i finish them. BBC is 15% done also. Anyway - joy to the world and £1000 to someone with a cure for RSI :) HK: "[Console] Sega Dreamcast v1.051 (Flash).rar" received HK: "[Console] Sega Saturn v1.188 (Flash).rar" received
  5. Damn Circo your one busy guy I have used some of your set names as a reference on some of the DB's where info is missing. Still trudging through them bloody Spectrum Vidsnaps. Adding them to a DB as I work my way through. Got 40 or so more of the Saturns for ya also at some point (be over 200 now) Love the site at the moment A+ (go to the front of the class) NOTE: Dreamcast DB shall be finished this Weekend
  6. It is JetPac. One of the first arcade shooters on the spectrum. It is a top 10 game from the Speccy archives.. Should not need much tidying up. the artwork has a slight glow around it that was in the original. I dont use the magic wand either. EDIT: ZX Spectrum
  7. Hope this may be of some help had lots of fun recreating the jet flame... May need a tidy round the edges a bit, depending on background used..
  8. The state of the project is "IN PRODUCTION". At the moment it looks like just me and HK? Hopefully we will find others to help on the project.. Many hands and all that. Perhaps i will try to write a tutorial?
  9. had a look for manic miner.. nothing unless you want the telephone from the advert. it is hires. When you think about it, have you ever seen a picture of manic miner... He was never on cassette covers and in JSW covers his head was down a toilet. You could use an image from ingame expanded and textured in photoshop i suppose. i just cannot think of anything more iconic on the spectrum.
  10. Latest update of the Saturn collection. Now contains 654 games and is complete for now. HK - please give it one final check for me, there is no easy way to spell check, but all should be ok?? Cheers. Time to finish that dreamcast one.... (GOD!) HK: "[Console] Sega Saturn v1.181 (Flash).zip" received
  11. From the Sega ftp site - sadly his legs are a bit cut off, may be able to use it for Dreamcast ? ? ?
  12. Shame it is not the complete table. I say that on google images also. Tried to look for a flyer or similar. May have one at work??? Will look tomorrow
  13. Im sure it is because of the larger bumpers on elvira........ Can't find an Addams one.. not hi res anyway Hope the Channel F is ok?
  14. And a strange old fashion pinball design.
  15. Here is a good quality video pinball table. Thought that may fit in with the whole "games on the pc video screen thing". And it is "future pinball"
  16. Is this any good for a channel f thing.. would be ok coming in from the side.. Sorry, but this is the best i can find! Perhaps with the text removed?
  17. A few images you may like HK Special Channel F for Tempest
  18. You cannot stop it completely, only minimise the effect. I use a seperate USER on my vista setup that has no icons, a black screen and no sidebar. This works quite well.
  19. Commodore 64 - IK+, or Warhawk (snigger) Dreamcast - Sonic Adventure Saturn - Bug! or Virtua Fighter Fairchild Channel F - Ask Tempest (Giggle snort guffaw - Oops, wee'd me self!) ZX81 - 3D Monster maze Atari Lynx - Blue Lightning ZX Spectrum - Has to be Miner Willy im afraid NEC PC-FX - Some rude hentia stuff (well - what else is there, oh - one shoot em up) Colecovision - Donkey Kong Intellivision - Astro Smash Future Pinball - A vintage pinball table, not them bumper things? I can send a nice one when i get home if ya wish. EDIT: MSX - Metal Gear God - cant think of any more
  20. I used to love Jet Set Willt, but since that Viagra came out - i think he has lost his apeal. Upstanding member of the community that he is now. :) (sorry!)
  21. No, i did mean the mame space invader - have another look. (he is gonna fall over) Wank means the same here except we have an expression that "on the wank" usually refering to shelves that are on the slant I prefer not to use the mce style - it does get a bit yawnsome. I have to look at something similar every time i run gameex using V3, sick of it. I like different background designs, much nicer. Looks nice though. shame it is a low resolution. I had the same problem (of sorts) when i did the retrobox theme (did you ever look at it? got some nice new machine artwork/icons in it). It was hard to get the artwork high enough for 1920x1200
  22. Looks really nice NutKaze, sorry - HeadKaze .. What resolution does it run at? Ps. The mame space invader looks a bit like he has been on the Vodka, he looks like he is walking a bit on the wank, can you put a pint in his hand?
  23. The Saturn DB has improved greatly since my latest post to you. As it stands there are nearly 660 items listed and I will post again when happy with it. It should not be too long - I am spending a lot of time checking spelling on the Jap releases (you would be suprised how many there are) and adding other spellings to the empty fields. Even TOSEC has things wrong and (I have stated this before) all the correct spellings are placed in the GameEx name field (lets hope Tom gives us a chance to use them - as an option, as it is really needed). The Dreamcast DB is flying along and is at the arse-end of the letter R, covering all USA and Euro releases and several Jap (English playable). I hope to have this one finished also fairly soon. Both the Intellivison and the Colecovision DB's are also being worked on. They will include ALL releases and prototypes. I will post when done. The PC-FX one really needs extending, but I will leave that untill the major ones are done. Right... The C64 one will be done and contain all games that are worthy of a description. The thought is to include all games, add the year (when known), the Publisher (or 'PD' if so), and a description when needed. If the game is a type-in basic program or like, then the description will be left blank. (i will add all them at a later date). But the C64 and Spectrum are last on my list. My thoughts are that we have lived without them so far, a few more months will not hurt. Headkaze: PS. Written an application to use data from facebook. It is a start on my road to c# Not looking too bad at the moment. Brian is a traitor

    rom help

Or, insted of using mameui/32, use the standard command line version of mame (it is slightly faster as well)
