i just bought gameex and installed it and also the latest version of mame .130 . I configured it correctly because i had the unregistered version working with an older mame version. All the paths are correct. When I tell it to update list it usually locks up the computer after 5-10 minutes. I got it to not lock up once and finish the scan but whenever I go to play any rom my comp locks up hard again and no game plays due to locking up and needing to be forced off and reboot the comp. I tried making sure that mame 130 did an audit of the games and I can play them with it no problem. I can't with gameex. It just locks up. when it locked up while using update list, I kept getting the error--eeprom read ng! initialize eeprom and backup. Not sure what that means. Like I said,I got past that once and it finished the scan but if you try to play any game it locks up. Gary

I can't seem to get gameex to find my roms. I run MAME32. all my paths are correct. They are zipped with winrar. I changed them to winzip and it still won't work. Everything else works. I get an error--unkown option -listxml when trying to update the rom list. It just stays on 2% forever. I am running the latest version of gameex. HELP

I just installed gameex for the 4th time and setup the program very carefully. all the paths are correct but when i start the program it says no games found. I do the update list and it still says no games found. What am I doing wrong. My music is there and plays but there are no games to be found. I am using mame 32 and it works great when I start mame 32 using the shortcut but-nothing using gameex Gary
