  1. That game shows on my list so am sure it has to do with your filters. If all else fails, just add that rom to the Do Not Filter list and do an update to your list so that it will show.
  2. Voted for HTPC since that's the newest method used to run GameEx. I would run GameEx on my cab but that's in storage (never been used). I don't even play games. What a waste. LOL.
  3. Thanks for the news Tom! Also thank you for all the updates! We appreciate all the work you put into GameEx.
  4. Thanks for the news Circo and also thanks for the offers! We all appreciate your hard work.
  5. No Problem! Well then I no longer believe that it needs to be set to Custom but am now certain. LOL. Thanks for confirming ehuonder!
  6. We've seen it happen in the past. Lucky for that user that they are unknown to other users. But it is something that happen to a user that is unwanted. All I suggest to users is be careful what you're doin when using that feature as we can see and will make fun of you when it happens. LOL.
  7. This file is not included with the emulator nor with GameEx. If you're familiar with MAME, it's basically like the mame.ini file in which all the settings can be made within that file instead of calling them all from the command-line. As this file is not required to making this emulator work, I personally use it to make my settings and shorten the length of my ZiNc command-line.
  8. Welcome back Hunk_4TH! -No Games Found- means what you figured. No one is hosting.
  9. Then come on over! LOL. I can offer all except the alcohol as my family doesn't drink but after we'll go get some beer across the street.
  10. Will not miss it for sure. Just got me all excited thinking that maybe it was today instead. LOL. I thought maybe I slept through a day and It was already here. Thanks for getting my hopes up!
  11. Topic title has been changed mercury! This is also something that can be done by users as of recently. The section you're looking for is called Text/Language to do what you're wanting. Simply find the setting your wanting to change and enter in the text. I believe for it to work that the Text/Language drop down setting needs to be set to Custom as well.
  12. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well Krakerman and to the rest of my fellow GameEx users! Tomorrow that is! When I saw the post, I thought I had lost a day. LOL. Note: Topic has been moved to appropriate section.
  13. Happy late B-day celly! Hope you had a good one.
  14. Thanks for the news Digitalghost!
  15. Thanks Tom!
  16. This be done easily using HK's Mame Compiler tool for mameui32/64?
  17. No problem. Maybe an idea for 64bit users is to name the file to the 32bit one and it will still be used by GameEx. Also maybe something for Tom to think about for future releases. I have notified but haven't heard back yet. So we'll wait for Tom to chime in at this point.
  18. That is correct!
  19. Tom! Is it possible that the database files were deleted during an update? I've never seen that particular thing happening before.
  20. Game Descriptions are being showed on my end. Was an update just applied or something? Have you verified your settings? If they have changed and an upgrade was applied, have you tried reverting back to the original settings by using the backup file that GameEx generates (if unclear then ask and I'll give full detail)? Give as much detail as possible so that we can troubleshoot.
  21. Good deal. Glad you got it working.
  22. You won't lose your manuals since that's kept in a different directory. Just replace the exe's with the new vesion and you should be good to go. If not then back up the files and no harm will be done.
  23. I don't see why installing ourselves would be a problem. Unless command-line parameters have changed or something. Haven't done enough research to verify. Would just have to make sure that the files are located in the exact place that Tom has them programmed in GameEx. Depending on the user's system.......GameEx looks for this file on my system in C:\Program Files (x86)\gs\gs\bin directory. Note that this can change depending on the user's system. But at least have a general idea of where the file needs to be. I contacted Tom and we'll do some testing and hopefully can just release with future versions to make it simple for the user.
  24. I also could not run this file with gs. I did however notice that the version used by GameEx is 8.54 and the current version is 9.00. I did download the new version to test and was able to open the file with the current version. Perhaps we need to upgrade to the newest version. I will notify Tom and we'll do some testing and hopefully it will be supplied with the next version of GameEx. Till then maybe try just upgrading to the new version and see if it works for you in GameEx as I only tested from the command-line.
  25. Thanks Tom!
