  1. Funny! Have never heard that term before.
  2. Just this weekend? I've never known it to work. LOL.
  3. Thank you for the contribution!
  4. The next 2 settings would be: GamesIn7Zips=True and: RomsInFolders=True Are your disc images in subfolders and are they also zipped? If not then those settings need to be set to false accordingly.
  5. Perhaps deleting the cached file will fix your issue. Please delete the EMU_6.map file located in the DATA directory of your GameEx install. Deleting this file will rebuild the list.
  6. Thanks Tom!
  7. I sure hope not. You better bookmark this topic then.
  8. Advanced Keyboard Input >> Enable Custom Controls >> Yes Then can map which button controls Page Up/Down.
  9. Good deal! Glad you got it sorted out. Marking as [RESOLVED].
  10. I think it's just: AAE [ROM] As long as it's setup to go fullscreen and pointed to the rom directory from the emulator.
  11. Hmmmm I never got it. Junk! LOL. Well if you can't reach me by IM then you can always just PM me here as I always have this window open and my e-mail will alert me as well.
  12. Yeah. I'm stumped on that one as I'm unable to duplicate on my machine. You're only solution was to not use the OpenGL renderer. Maybe try playing with the settings of the D3d renderer and see if you can get it to play nicely with your setup. But at least your roms are running now. LOL.
  13. Nice. Thanks for the link! I really hope that all the roms will no longer require ZiNc to run. Yes. Some games still have better sound in ZiNc. I think what we need to do is find the best plugins and frontends for setting up and that way it will be universal for users as there is way too much going on. Luckily I have some experience with them all. I'll probably write up a tutorial and this PITA emulator. LOL. Yes! Daphne is another one of those that are a pain to setup in a frontend environment. Oh well. Nobody ever said it would be easy but it is definitely worth in the end with all is set up correctly.
  14. Let us know when you need help with something specific. And you have my IM if you ever wanna chat in real-time. We can fix that zinc problem you're having whenever you're ready. I've messaged you a few times but never got a response.
  15. Yeah. I didn't let the game load so It really wasn't loading. I just assumed it was. Looks like this emulator has some issues loading from command-line. Solution might have to be with a loader/wrapper to make it work with DC images. Unless other users have experience in this and care to chime in. I don't use this emulator so haven't really fully tested. Let's see what others have to say.
  16. Hmmmmm what format are your images in cuz I'm having no problems loading a cdi image through it and I'm also using Windows 7 64bit? Edit: Doooohhhh. My mistake. I guess I really needed to completely test. I'm still able to run the image but seems they autostart (music) after loading which is another issue. LOL. But I can still run the game.
  17. Ok! What is the details of your problem? Is daemon not loading your disc images or is just the command-line part giving you problems?
  18. Update: Ok! Here's what I came up with. Am still unable to run from command-line when trying to load the image from the emulator just as my tests before. Loading the rom via an disc imaging application like Daemon Tools works just fine. It's the only solution to make it work other then having to create a wrapper/loader for it. So to make it work. Mount the image in the Launch Before setting. Then set the GD-ROM plugin to gdrDemul. Also make sure it's set to the correct drive. Then just launch with the following command-line in GameEx: demul.exe -run=dc There are many topics covering the command-line for Daemon tools if you don't already know how. Search will turn up many results. If you use another mounting tool then you'll just use the command-line for that one.
  19. Narrowed down the quote to be more clear. LOL. I wish there was a new ZiNc version. It's the one emulator that's such a PITA to cover. We have many topics covering it. What makes it worse is there's so many tools that users use to set it up so makes it almost impossible to cover it all.
  20. Yes I don't agree with using bat files. Yes it may work but not really a need for it anymore. I'm sorry if you're affended that I don't agree. There are many ways to do many things which is it's hard for users sometimes when they are getting help from multiple users. Just confuses them. My way has it's flaws as well. Yes there is a zinc map file in my submissions. There's also one included with GameEx but it only lists 51 roms out of the 71. These map files pass the rom number to the emulator instead of the rom name.
  21. Well let me test first and then we'll come to the conclusion if one is required. We have many talented scriptors there that could easily whip one up if one is needed.

  23. I can confirm it not working with that setting. Next solution would be to mount image which I'll be able to test in about an hour. Other solution would be to create a wrapper.
  24. Ok. Here's the the thread where I remember this same discussion. It was never verified to work with mounting the image but I was never able to get the image running from command-line in my tests. I would try mounting real quick and give us an answer. I won't be able to test on my end till later as I have to rip an image and then test. I'm currently not at my gaming machine.
