  1. Do you have the latest version? There were many speed improvements and also some memory optimizations in the latest release.
  2. I agree. I've been using handbrake for all my compression needs on my htpc. Works very well. It's hands down the best app i've used and the video quality is excellent.
  3. I don't think GameEx should have that much of an affect on it though. Weird that all is working outside of GameEx. Perhaps the command-line that's being ran or the settings. Do you by chance have 2 mame.ini files somewhere in your mame directory and sub-directories?
  4. Please post your mame.ini file or you mame options so we can see how mame is being ran.
  5. No log attached. Did you try a reboot?
  6. Also I see that you mentioned that this happens when running an emulator, not MAME! That being said, please post a log of when you actually run an emulator and this happens. Have you tried maybe changing the resolution in the emulators as well to match your system to see if that helps any?
  7. 1. There could be updates to an onboard graphics adapter. Visit your manufacturers website and see if there's an update. 2. No. Your settings stay intact when upgrading. As a safe measure you settings are also backed up just in case. If you really wanna be safe, then you can make the backup of the settings as well. 3. Nothing should be lost by updating XP. However again, as a safe measure you can always backup your settings.
  8. By design, launch after wasn't intended for this. However, it can still be used. If you create a script then you can launch that script after exiting the emulator to send those keys. Thus, giving you the results you're after. I suggest writing a script with either AutoHotKey or AutoIt to accomplish this. We have a few scriptors in our forums that are familiar with these languages that may be able to help you.
  9. Note: Another change in this release is that log files no longer include empty folders in it's log. This makes for a clean log file and is easier to read for us to troubleshoot. Thanks Tom for taking that suggestion!
  10. Right now the Normal and High profiles are supported. And the output format can be mkv, mp4, m4v. This is a new feature so give it time to grow if more is needed. I suggested a custom command-line so that some of us that require more settings can just enter our own to fit our needs.
  11. DVD Decryption is still required! Handbrake will only handle the compression of a DVD.
  12. Thanks for the share, Tom!
  13. Very Nice! Thanks Tom!
  14. Ok. I can confirm that the included config for Snes9x does have {ESC} in the sendkeys. Thank you for the report. Hopefully we can get this fixed soon. Well as far as playing, have you actually setup your controls in the emulator itself?
  15. Thanks for the news and also for the reduced price!
  16. Done! FYI this can be done by the OP as well.
  17. Perhaps this is done in code as a file with a whitespace wouldn't make sense to have to begin with.
  18. According to the topic it seems that ENTER is not being pressed at the correct time. That's why the code was posted so that it could be adjusted accordingly. Have you tried different timings? If using sendkeys as an alternative, have you tried setting the Wait Before Keys setting to something different?
  19. Post your config!
  20. I'm pretty sure this is due to the loader looking for a specific exe and the newer versions changed. So the loader needs updating or you can always try and rename the newer versions to FreeDo.exe in hopes that it may still work.
  21. The font is located in the MEDIA folder of your GameEx install. And in the font directory, there is a shortcut pointing to this font. So just copying over the GameEx folder wouldn't work in that case since no action was done to the font folder of Windows.
  22. Thanks for the contribution guys!
  23. Zip support was already added a long time ago when the karaoke dx plugin was updated. Is it not working for you? I haven't used this feature in years so I wasn't aware of it.
  24. Not sure! Perhaps we should message the user to show us more. LOL.
