  1. Confirmed! Running GameEx 11.66 and MAME 0.142. Listing only 200 again Tom. Ran update a few times.
  2. Thanks for such a quick fix Tom!
  3. Updated to new GameEx and then to MAME 0.142 and again I got 200 roms. Then I tried updating a second time and it listed correctly. Maybe cuz of the cache files. Not sure. But It's listing correctly now. Tom had a look into and fixed something with verify roms so there will be a release soon. But try to update again for giggles and see if it works like mine did.
  4. I tested with my 11.64 and was only showing 200 roms. So going to that version wouldn't help. Older versions of GameEx are not archived as we want to move forward and not backwards. Tom is looking into it now. We will report back.
  5. The gamelist.txt file found in the DATA directory of your GameEx install is the file that is built. You can back up this file in case. GameEx should rebuild this file when rebuilding the list but since it's not working then back that file up and try again. If that doesn't work then post details of your setup so we can troubleshoot.
  6. The GameEx.ini file found in the CONFIG of your GameEx install is the file that saves your setup. Backing up this file will save your Daphne settings within GameEx as desired.
  7. I would expect Joy2Key to behave the same way, hence the name. But again it's just my opinion. I personally would go straight to the script, especially since it's an easy script to write. Unfortunately if that doesn't work then I don't know what to do from there.
  8. I always thought apps like Xpadder mapped keyboard and mouse controls from controllers. Since the X-arcade is basically just a keyboard then I wouldn't expect it to work or be recognized by Xpadder. I haven't used Xpadder in years so I could be wrong. I would try remapping the controls using a script written in something like AutoHotKey or AutoIt. If that doesn't work then only other solution I have would be is to remap the controls on your X-arcade.
  9. Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. I tested and can confirm that the keys don't work within the emulator. They are remapped as I did try them in notepad when the emulator was running. So this emulator doesn't accept GameEx's remapping. I guess next solution would be to try a 3rd party application like Xpadder as suggested by Adultery.
  10. Happy Birthday!

    Thanks for mentioning Tom!
  12. Welcome to the forums! Great post for being new to our forums. Thank you so much for this contribution!
  13. I've tried it once but I never setup controls. Perhaps this emulator doesn't allow remapping. Not sure. I'll do some testing tomorrow and we'll figure it out.
  14. As in my experience as well. Daemon Tools supports many more image types. Glad all is sorted out. Marking as [RESOLVED]! Enjoy!
  15. Daemon tools needs to be installed separately and then can be used in the Launch Before/After settings of Emulator Setup. There are many examples of the command line all over the forums. GameEx also has it's own ISO support that utilizes Virtual Clone Drive. The help text explains usage found in the Command Line setting of Emulator Setup.
  16. Thanks Tom!
  17. No problem! Keep in mind that this will be overwritten during updates. You can always just create a file to make the changes for you so that you can apply them from the file instead of within Regedit. Then you can just click on the file and the changes will be applied. This will be easiest to apply after an update. Marking as [RESOLVED]!
  18. Taken from the help from the setting DVD Rip Path: Handbrake.exe is the gui version of Handbrake. handbrakecli.exe is what's needed by GameEx for this feature.
  19. In the registry, navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Categories\Start Menu\{3de6904a-d9c7-4ef9-b77d-c1216b39161a}. Double click on Title and change from My Games To GameEx. This does change the registry, so be careful! Backup it up if need be. I guess I could have just created the change for you but I don't wanna be responsible for messing with your registry.
  20. SendKeys could work depending on how the app works. Testing will have to be done to see it's behavior. If it runs in the background and watches for a hotkey then that would work as well. It would be the easiest solution (again depending on it's behavior). If not then I would look to a script. I always say, "If it don't work then script it"!
  21. A script would give you more control unless the app you use takes care of everything and then can be launched along side your emulator using the launch before or launch also. I'm not familiar with the app so hard to say about it's behavior. A script could easily take care of this and shouldn't steal focus or anything if done right.
  22. Depending how you go about it but yes, a batch file or script can be used.
  23. It's a feature in vanilla as well!
  24. LOL. Both were at the same time! Thanks for helping either way!
  25. In Emulator Setup.... Show last played setting needs to be set to No.
