    gameex setup

Just to keep us from guessing, could you post the contents of your Gameex.ini?
  2. Hey, you know I don't blame you...you've got your hands full these days! So somebody else deleted your second post? The only reason that I mentioned not reading the whole thing, is because I thought Wonko posting in reply to himself was funny. Of course my posts are quite clever too!
  3. Alot of the directx errors have been side-stepped (I don't want to say fixed) by changing themes. It may also be a problem of running a theme in the wrong resolution IE: running a theme made for 1024x768 in 800x600. You gotta keep working on it, You can't not play Tempest! Edit: You may want to post your Gameex log
  4. Topic continues here: http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...amp;gopid=29820
  5. Just to elaborate...Gameex doesn't play well with the latest version of FFDShow, and it is recommended that you use the version from the Gameex website.
  6. Ok. Then what? Launch before and after?
  7. But it looks like a really cool idea! Make a post in the Stickied thread "feature requests"
  8. Did you try a different resolution? There was somebody else showing more video memory than they actually had awhile back...I'l see if I can find it... Edit I couldn't find it, but read posts 10-12 in this thread: http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=5030
  9. I haven't used it, but someday I will...Having said that: www.xpadder.com I think it's as simple as: a::s to remap the "a" key to "s" Not to be short, but I really don't know what I'm talking about, and there are tons of posts regarding this. If you have problems, just ask, and someone smarter will jump in. Brian Hoffman, and Bkenobi will definately be able to help, and they may even jump in to say that this won't work at all!
  10. Wouldn't remapping with Xpadder stop this as well?
  11. Integrate It!
  12. I don't know about disabling, but you could change your player 1 mappings to something else. Some people will only use letters for their controls, no - shift, ctrl, tab, etc.
  13. In advance configuration, go to the page that has your snes emulator set up. At the top you will see a button that says "export". Go ahead and export your config, and post the contents of the file here. The advanced configuration is a different program than the setup wizard. It should be in the start menu > Gameex > Advanced Configuration.
  14. Did you take a look in the Task manager to see what your resources are? Memory and cpu usage? You can start the task manager, then start a game, and use ALT + TAB to switch to the task manager. Sorry if this is way off base, I didn't read the whole topic again...
  15. I'm re-reading this thread, in preparation of building my new cab...More thoughts: 1. Glue may not hold as well on the melamine covered board that you have, did you use something special? 2. I told you this stuff was dusty...look at the pile of dust by Shaunopp's battery charger! :LOL 3. I didn't notice the first time, that you had a matching set of graphics for your cab. (Marquee, Bootscreen, CPO, theme, etc.), that is the shiznit! They must be used on the cabinet that is only partially in the picture. Do you have pictures of that cab running? (or not running?) This may sound crazy, but my basement is painted yellow, purple, and red. I was originally thinking of light blue t-mould, because I liked yours so well (no need to do a Tempest design now!) but I see they have purple... http://www.t-molding.com/store/product.php...t=31&page=1 I'll probably stick with the blue...I don't want it looking ??? Stupid ???
  16. I was looking at these two sites: http://www.itreviews.co.uk/hardware/h174a.htm http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pc-racing,470.html They both agreed that the Modena was nice, but the first one didn't cover the Microsoft one. Neither one mentioned the X-box Wheel. Constructive Comments are always appreciated! (I added the "constructive" for Greatflash )
  17. I've been reading reviews on USB steering wheels... I may have it narrowed down to two, unless someone wants to throw in a third. 1. Thrustmaster 360 Modena 2. Microsoft Precision Wheel Any body have either one of these? What is your experience / opinion?
  18. Glad to see you've got my back PimpDaddyStu!
  19. What kind of camera are you using? Can you post your gammex.ini?
  20. You do have your emulators running games without Gameex....right? And if you set them up in Gameex using the setup wizard, you checked all of your paths?
  21. Double-posting to run up your stats? I'm telling Shaunopp! You didn't read the whole topic did ya Brian? I just checked, wonko hasn't been online since 3/20/08. (For everybody else in the world 20/03/08) Why do you guys have to do everything backwards? Which is more recent then I would have thought... Anyway, I think that was a great answer...Good Job! Edit: You DID have a double post Didn't you? Damn I need Mod rights!
  22. Tempest

    Arcade Manuals

Is this :X happy?, or sad? You don't have to download the whole thing just select the files you want. I don't think I should say much more than that here.
  23. I for one will miss you after Tom bans you from the forum!
  24. Hey fRequEnCy - you've been doing a good job yourself with the wrappers... I honestly felt guilty saying good job to Greatflash, when I hadn't said anything to you. So "Good Job!"
  25. I think it's a good idea. I don't know if you are aware of it, but there is a "stickied" topic for feature requests. I think you should copy your last post to that thread.
