  1. I'm not using that plugin as of right now, but there must be a pluginlcd.ini in the plugins folder, If there is, just move it out (don't delete it, you might need it back) BTW: If I'm wrong, HK will correct me in a minute...
  2. I mentioned a few weeks back, that when I use the databases, it breaks things....Too bad Brian didn't post it, maybe somebody would have listened. COME ON BRIAN! It's Monday, and I'm already ahead of you on ball busting...
  3. I didn't know this was a "stupid Star Trek jokes" thread... Q. How is the Enterprise like a piece of toilet paper.... A. It circles around Uranus looking for Klingons.
  4. Just so you know, I have a 2.4GHZ celeron, and Future pinball runs slow for me...That's why it's called Future Pinball, maybe someday in the near future I'll get a better computer Also, It was suggested to me that If I were to get rid of the icons on my desktop, and make my background black, that the showdesktop=true wouldn't be a big deal. Of course I'm not to that point yet...
  5. Helping Shaunopp out with a *BUMP*
  6. I haven't been using the screensaver, but I will try to help.... The screensaver in Gameex is not the same as mame screensaver. The Gameex one actually starts a game, and you can watch its "attract" mode. Questions: What do you mean when you say it hangs? Does it ever make it out of Gameex? Does the log show an error? Do you have other emulators besides Mame enabled in the screen saver? Regarding the last question, every emulator has a tab in its setup to allow it to be included in the screen saver or not. If you don't have an error in the log that's helpful, you might want to try turning them off, to see if it fixes the problem.
  7. Well, it says it can't find your Mame.ini.....Could that cause all this? Seriously, I don't know....(I don't want it to sound like I'm talking down to you) 19/04/2008 11:07:37: Could not find file 'E:\Mame\mame.ini'.
  8. http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...pic=5349&hl= Happy reading!
  9. Oh my god! I was totally joking about everything... You really were breaking my stuff? Now I'm really pissed! I would appreciate it if you would return the pictures of my wife...I don't have copies! Edit: People also will post their configs for Visual Pinball, and it will say: configfile=Project 64 V2 I've found at least three different users posting this... Is that you too?
  10. The part in bold isn't right....I've seen this before.... I imported VP just to see what the standard import would say (in case there was an error) it says: configFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close) That's using vpinball_loader.exe which your not. I'm not saying use the one I show, I'm just saying yours doesn't look right...
  11. Ok, We need something a little different this time. Use the Gameex Configuration, and go to the section where it shows your emulator setup. At the top of the page is a button that says "export Emulator" Click on that, save the file, then post the contents. Actually, within the last week, Brian posted his working config. (I'm pretty sure it was Monday) You could search for that, or when you see Brians Avatar in a post, there is a drop down menu (point at his user name, and left click) that you can select "view all members post" (or something like that) you should be able to find it pretty quick that way. Let us know if you get it working, or need more help.

    Song Looping

I was close to what they said, I was going to suggest a moment of silence to be played in the emulators that don't have tracks. That way it would just loop through that. (or you could just put a set of noise canceling headsets on your monkey) I do think it's a good Idea, and you should post in feature request's.
  13. Thanks Tom! Now all the crap you've put me through was worth it!
  14. Glad you got it worked out, Now I feel OK about posting what I wanted to say to your original post. That's nothing, The last time I updated, Tom overwrote my Zinc folder, and stole all of my loaders. (You need to find a new source for loaders Tom) In addition to that, In the past, he has also caused Visual Pinball and PJ64 to stop working, and I'm pretty sure he now has pictures of my wife. All I can tell you is that at this point I have turned automatic updates off, and somehow he still manages to screw up stuff on my computer. I am planning in the near future to disable my network card, and if that doesn't stop him, I'm going to start running my computer off of a battery, and a power inverter. I don't care what it takes, I will stop him from Froggin' up my configurations! I'm watching out for you Tom....

    MAME Roms

Yep - I got a twofer! I wish I could be more like me!
  16. Cool! Now what's wrong with pinball? Oh yeah, start a new thread if you don't mind....
  17. Yeah, you can sure tell the difference on the days I remember to take my meds! Thanks for the bump!
  18. Congrats! I told you BSing would get you a promotion - just like in real life! Is It just me, or does the chat room suck? I will try and install messenger again... I'll let you know if I get it done.

    MAME Roms

In advanced mame settings, try setting "use bezel", to don't use bezels. If this works, I want a really big show of appreciation - It's not for my ego, as much as for the other guys....
  20. Don't be sorry, it's great that you can still post without a connection!

    Zinc Wrapper

What's a noob? A cross between nipple and boob? That's a good thing right? I'm just going to start a new folder from scratch. So I will download Zinc, and Aldo's front end. BTW: That was including my roms, but there is still alot of stuff in my Zinc folder.
  23. Well, what's strange about that comment is that I actually see your point! I also hadn't noticed that it was a dog, I thought it was a horse, so it even makes more sense!
  24. The reason we scratch our heads is because if they run in Mame, they should run in Gameex. All Gamex does is send the commandline to Mame, and the commandline contains the romname. So if a game doesn't run, it not because of Gameex, but the way Mame is set up in Gameex. The only thing that I can think of is that the taito games require a bios. You must have the bios, because I would assume that they won't run in mame with out it. So the question is, Do you keep your Bios roms in a separate folder from your gameroms? If you do, then in "Basic Mame Setup" in the configuration app you need to include the path in "Rom Path/s" IE: rompath1;rompath2. If that doesn't help, then yeah, post your log.
  25. What do mean they don't run? They don't show up on the list? They start, but then goes back to Gameex? It might be best to post your Gameex.ini. just open it with a text editor, and copy and paste the contents in your next post. Edit: I see you Brian...
