  1. I don't think there is anything going on. I think it is because MAME32 uses its own settings for launching games, and these carnt carried over when launching mame32 as a command. I am 90% sure this is a mame issue. As I've said before the way to test it would be to use the Run Last Game Shortcut in the GameEx Program group on the Windows start Menu. If this does something different then its probably a gameex issue, if not mame config issue
  2. Attract Mode Audio setting, under Audio Settings.

    Error

Please replace GameEx.exe with the one in this zip. then get it to do the same thing and post the log. Thanks. GameEx.zip
  4. Youv'e got my approval How about some success stories here? Or interesting usage or environments where used? The fact that I get about 3000 donwloads of GameEx a month and only a handfull of problems, there must be a few!
  5. It does actually sound like this is by design rather than a problem, the songs are actually 'queued'. When you select the first song is starts a new queue, after that selecting a song adds them to the queue
  6. Hi, Here is a non-debug version. Please experiment and provide more feedback. What you are experiencing may well be by design as youve not used it before. Please play around, and provide more info once youve had a chance. Thanks, Tom GameEx.zip
  7. I am getting closer, WE WILL do this! Please try latest version and post log.
  8. As long as its working, I dont mind that
  9. Hi please try again with the next version just uploaded. Thanks.
  10. Please do again with the version I just uploaded. Thanks, Tom
  11. Did you deffinitly replace GameEx.exe with the version I uploaded. your log file does not seem to be a debug version. Maybe I did not upload the right version. Please get the version I just uploaded and try again. Thanks.
  12. See my other post about the debug version
  13. Sorry, can you explain in more detail. It seems to me GameEx already does what you are asking. Thanks, Tom
  14. Could you both please replace GameEx.exe with the debug version I uploaded. Then try to do the same thing again, and post the logs. Thanks, Tom
  15. It looks like you might be using a very old version of MAME. Could you cofirm the version your using or get the latest?
  16. Can you try turning off 'Load Playlst on Thread' under Tweaks/Performance, and let me know if that fixes it?
  17. OK, I got it. I've kind of run out of buttons to use, so it would have to be an either or feature. In regard to the other feauture, I think the list already scrolls as fast as it can so probably not really suitable for GameEx. GameLauncher goes into Turbo mode when Paging which is a feautre I liked. Although again GameEx already scrolls pretty fast IMO.
  18. OK, you win! I'll upload some pics at the weekend. It's not as glamarous as some of your guys ones though. I just bought a second hand JAMMA cabinet, ripped out the guts and used a J-PAC. I am good at software but SUCK big time at DIY
  19. Sorry, I can't. I have requested numerous times on the GameEx home page, that Italian and other users help me solve such problems, but I have had no responses. Perhaps you should try asking the questions at some Italian MCE forums? If you find the answers please share so I can help others in the future.
  20. Arcade Mode: The purpose/goal of Arcade Mode, was to support lower resolution for ArcadeVGA specifcially 640 X 288. It does not display the toolbar, makes fonts smaller, and diables the mouse. It sort of like a LO-FI version. As I said it's really designed for ArcadeVGA cards. I use it on my cabinet, with Snaps as backgrounds, at 640 X 288. People have since used ArcadeMode at higher resolutions, something I never expected . I'll look at the remove of the home button if I ever get time, or more people ask for this. Could you spend a bit more time explaining this alpha paging stuff, sorry might be being a bit dim but dont 'get it' at the moment. Thanks for your support David. Tom.
  21. You need to put the GameEx Shortcut not folder??
  22. I am glad you spotted that, and I did not have to tell you I have tried your suggestion already before, and I could not do it. i wont get too technical, but the problem is that emulators/mame override the gamepad use in GameEx. If there was source code for JoyToKey or something similar then I might be able to build something more seemless rather than having to use JoyToKey
  23. Excellent! and I am glad its not my fault
  24. Start Menu > Programs > Accessories > Media Center > Media Center Programs Fi you let me know what it is on Italian MCE, I'll add it to the install for others.
  25. It should be under 'More Programs' on English systems. It sounds like your not English so maybe your not using English MCE. In which case you need to move the GameEx shortcut to where Media Center looks for More Programs on the Start Menu > Programs. Sorry I only know where that is on English systems. Perhaps someone else can help, if you tell them what country version youre using.
