  1. I'm generally not supporting manual ini edits anymore. All configuration ideally should be done through the config app. If the configuration app does not do something, or GameEx does not work properly after an update than let me know, but I cant really address the structure changes in gameex.ini, unless something actually gets broken. If you want to manually edit the ini, yourll have to live it with it for now. Sorry.
  2. Hi, not possible now, but likely in a future release. Tom
  3. I have no plans to provide previous versions unless I release a beta or know for sure a version I release is unstable. Not sure what "seek error" means, if you mean machines not connected to the internet, GameEx will produce no error and the autoupdate feature will simply do nothing. How many different version GameEx pc's you running!? I'm pretty good about it, but if your running more than 2-3 (officially 1) in your own home you should register them.
  4. Hola Amigo! It deffinitly should not be the auto update. Can you explain exactly in detail exactly what's happening.
  5. Does it work with the Default theme?
  6. 15th May, 2006 - MNGer 1.4 Released Correctly creates .mng file association. Works correctly if .net framework 2.0 installed http://tomspeirs.com/mnger
  7. Maximum upload size is 2MB. I replied in the pinned topic, but try emailing me the file. [email protected] Thanks, Tom. 24-7, you just need to be a little patient. Most stuff gets replied to eventually. Remember this is a one product only forum, but yourll see there's not many topics with 0 replies. Generally people come here when they get stuck, to find out something, or request something and not always to chat. Like with most other forums if you don't get a reply, often people don't know the answer. Cheers. Tom.
  8. Try running in 16 Bit Colour, and turning off Advanced Graphics (Both under Display settings). You just have a basic on board video card, yes?
  9. Working fine for me. Are the WMA files DRM protected? Currently GameEx won't play these. Although I hope to change this soon.
  10. Hi, it might be a bug in GameEx, I have not tested playlists for a while. Let me look.
  11. Can you post the full log please.
  12. The option your looking for should be "Remove Bracketed Text" under Advanced MAME Options. Yourll need to update the list for it to take affect.

    Gamex crash

Can you try changing the theme to "Default - Default" and post the log (if it doesnt fix it) Thanks.
  14. hi, can you post the full log. Does this happen ever time or just sometimes?
  15. I dont think its just arcade monitor thing, I get the same thing on my XGA projector, and some games wont sync on my PC TFT monitor. Its just certain resolutions with certain refresh rates different monitors cant handle. There should be a workaround by only using certain resolutions with certain rates in MAME, not sure the best wat to go about doing that though.
  16. Jukebox in Media Player mode should now support FLAC files in the latest release. Give it a go. I'm guessing th Bass DLL for FLAC has some bugs, but give Media Player mode a go. Hopefully now you don't have to endure the pain of using Linux for entertainment purposes and end up with RSI. (not thay Myth isnt good).
  17. I couldnt duplicate this in the current version. Works a charm for me.
  18. Make sure MAME is setup correctly, your using a new veriosn, and youve updated the gamelist. Come out of gameex. Click the Start button on the bottom left of windows, navigate to your programs then gameex, and click create videos. Wait friggin ages.
  19. Not sure what's going on there, there showing here. I have not changed anything for a while that would affect that. Do you have flat start page set?
  20. 13th May, 2006 - GameEx 6.10 Automatic updates has a new option to just prompt when a new version is available and ask if it should be downloaded. This is now the default setting For when GameEx is running on a cab or TV for days, GameEx will check for updates once a day. So you can do an automatic update without having to restart Fixes issue where Jukebox in windows media mode would not scan and list FLAC files A few other things under the hood to make my life easier
  21. If you've installed this version, can you please reply here. As from now on Auto updates are going to happen for reged users, and I'd like some feedback on the first release with it. Don't worry I spent days testing its stable. Thanks in advance for your help folks. Tom
  22. Its actually already doing something much better than that! Wait and see! Cheers. Tom EDIT: Actually that is a good comment, and you've inspired me to make a little improvment. Thanks.
  23. Sounds like the ini file got corrupted. Easiest thing to do is load up the ini in notepad and remove all traces of those emulators then recreate them in the config app. If you want an easy way to clear all the emulators but keep your other settings, in notepad do a replace and replace "[EMULATOR_ " With "[CORRUPTEMULATOR_ "
