  1. That hurts him, but to be honest, Tom does not know. Tom GameEx Developer.
  2. Please post your log. Gerble, I need specifics and detail to have any chance of fixing it, and although the error may look the same its a completely different issue. You need to make it easier for me. Thanks.
  3. Thanks for reporting.
  4. Glad to see you back mate! 1) Theres an menu called Admin, in config when delete ALL data. otherwise Most played are stored in \DATA\gamelist.TXT 2) I'd rather fix the crash if its a bug. 3) No it doesn't 4) Might be because thats one I use to test, as thats what I run at. Ill take a look. Not sure about the wait time on exit, not sure what's changed. Nothing I thought. Ill look when I get a chance though.
  5. You need to put it Under "advanced MAME settings" its the first option on that screen.
  6. It's a very strange problem. Not heard of that before. It does initialise the DVD player code on that page and it must be doing it, but I have not idea why it would change the resolution. Sounds crazy!
  7. I've sent it to you, and the themes issue is fixed in the latest release. If you have not received it, email me again.
  8. No it shouldn't, its only when GameEx is active, not when emulators are running.
  9. 20th May, 2006 - GameEx 6.13 When viewing a picture in the pictures module, you can now navigate to next and previous pictures by pressing the arrow keys GameEx will now dynamically rotate the display when the TAB key is pressed (assuming not running windowed and resolution is low enough) GameEx will not automatically filter the list for Vertical only games when rotated, but use the Show Horiz/Vert setting in the config to decide. There's now an additional option to make this automatic based on the orientation of the display New menu option to launch the Screensaver at any time A much requested feature - the ability to navigate jukebox tracks backwards and forwards when the screensaver is running Fixes some themes crashing when launching a game or upating the list Fixes possible crash and other issues when using a custom video or image background for an emulator Fixes More Games & Programs not showing in recent versions for some users
  10. OK, thanks, will be fixed in next release. I can see the problem, and someone else had it too.
  11. Hi, Could you please post the logs, for when the themes crash? Thanks again for your feedback, I'm fixing the custom background issue now.
  12. Hi, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, you say "Multimedia" Menu, i don't understand. Please explain in some detail.. Thanks.
  13. 1. I don't have any idea why it's doing that, but Ill look into it. 2. You need to update the list again. 3. Yes this is scope for improving it, in fact it's already a lot better than it used to by. 4. No, it wont help, a Geforce 5200 or Radeon 7800 on say an Athlon 2000+ should always run full speed. . 5. Yes I saw your feature request, I like it! Yes! you should see a huge improvement in speed, if your running a 500Mhz at the moment. 500Mhz is even below the minimum gameex reqs.
  14. Thanks for the feedback. I think a lot of these issues have been fixed in recent versions. Can you confirm which ones are still happening in the latest version, and give me some more detail? Many thanks. Tom
  15. Good one Shaun. Hi, there's an already an option for all emulators and MAME to have it continue playing the juebox in the config, but not to let you choose in the front end. Looks very cool EMKO, not sure how easy it is to implement, as it relies on specific support for certain emulators. as I said looks very cool though. I will have a think about it.
  16. Looks like your MAME games list got corrupted. Delete gamelist.txt in the data directory. Your'l loos any MAME favouties.
  17. NOTE TO ALL: Please remember to use the feature request sticky. Although I've implemented hundreds of requests, and plan to implement 100's more its me and me only who decides, and I really don't need a vote to investigate, evaluate and then possibly design and implement a feature. If a request is not in the sticky it could likely get lost, I very rarely go more than four pages deep into the forum unless I am searching. Don't mean to spoil your fun though
  18. Hi Jeff, yes others have reported it, but you thankfully have reported it properly, and now hopefully I can fix it. Thanks, should hopefully be fixed for next release now.
  19. Are you talking about running Horizontal games rotated squished at 90 degrees, or just normal?
  20. I can see youve got rotation turned on. Try turning it off.
  21. Under Enable/Disable Options. One of the first settings.
  22. 18th May, 2006 - GameEx 6.11 New ability to rotate display -90 degrees (as well as existing 90 degrees) Additional menu item to restart PC. New option to put MAME under the emulated games menu instead of the start menu Fixes update MAME list only creating list of vertical games, when only vertical games are set to show
  23. Just in case you didn't know, much like everything else, you can turn off the auto update.
  24. No worries, it should resume where it left off when its run again.
  25. I think the issue is the position of the menus/info. When loading the jukebox its going outside the bounds of the bottom of the screen. Try moving it up some in the editor. It probably used to work because there was a bug that was fixed where the resolution was not set when loading a v2 theme if you had gameex set not to change resolution. Cheers.
