  1. Thanks again Lingpanda. Could I ask someone give me a heads up when ATI release some fixed drivers? Could someone also tell me exactly which drivers versions work and dont and Ill add it to the faq. Thanks. EDIT: Im all NVIDIA at the moment, including on my new shiny George Foreman Grill, with the Spiderman font on it!
  2. HI Cupid, GameEx only supports versions of MAME with XML output, just for your info. So your safe to get it from the ini. Just check it exists. Also, what do you need from the XML MAME output that GameEx does not give you? Do I need to add something?
  3. Name: Random Arcade Sound Plugin Version: 1.1 (update) Author: Tom Speirs Description: Plays random arcade classic sounds fx every 10 to 40 seconds in GameEx. 1.1 allows volume to be set in the plugin confirguration and fixes minor timing issues which means now should be up to 40 seconds between sounds. Extract the file to the plugins directory, and enable in the plugin manager. http://www.tomspeirs.com/gameex/download/R...ArcadeSound.zip Edit: Just realised the volume setting wont be functional until next version of GameEx. Sorry.

  5. I think ill just add a config setting in the plugin to set the volume.
  6. You can turn it down by changing the Music Volume setting, but this will affect the Jukebox too. Thanks for checking it out, it was really just for fun

  9. Shhh! I want people to update! Cheers.
  10. Glad to see your still around toonces. In terms of the lite install, I think yourll be ok as long as you have .net installed and wmp. FYI: No need for .net 1.1 anymore, and all future versions are going to run purely under 2.0 anyway from the next release.

    Weird bug?

OK, I've duplicated the issue. Ill go ahead and try and fix it (Cant see it being a problem). Thanks for helping me.

    Weird bug?

I think this is because you have not set the rom filter setting for the emus that are not working.

    XP MCE Remote

Hi, The MCE Remote is not properly supported on standard XP, theres no drivers, so I dont really know if I can help with this. I personally would not want to use the remote on XP. Your'll probably also find you cant page up and down the lists with the channel buttons. On MCE it all works fine. Your probably better getting some other kind of remote control or windows MCE. Sorry.

    Weird bug?

Maxx, Can you post or send me your GameEx.ini so I can try to duplicate the problem? Thanks. Tom
  16. Cupid, this is great. Just a few suggestions for next release. Upon configuring plugin, if mame list is not generated auto generate it. Rather than hardcoded path to mame, perhaps read GameEx.ini and use the mame path and exe specified there. Upon initialising of the plugin check the paths are good and mame list is there, otherwise return FALSE.
  17. Its on the docs page, amonst all the other crap that dont get read. Just kidding
  18. You cant disable it for MAME at the moment. Its Buttons 4,5,6 with Left-Up. This is for gamepads only. Perhaps I should add button 1 too.
  19. Ive read the entire thread, but couldnt see what sort of controller your using? If your using a gamepad, it may just be your hitting the exit game combo, since your playing fighting games, perhaps?
  20. Hi, Do you get a "handled" error screen with a log? if so take a look at that, and if it does not explain the problem post it here. If you get some kind of "unhandled" error screen please give detail. Thanks. Tom.
  21. Hi, you need to do a manual install of GameEx from the web site to fix this. Thanks Tom
  22. Hi this was reported a day or so a go, and its a bug thats fixed now and will be in the next GameEx release. Its related to specific themes, so perhaps use another one in the meantime.
  23. Need LOTS more info to have any chance
  24. If your having the issue, could you confirm that is is consistent. ie always does it and at the same time. The stupid obvious thing that it could be is the Exit Game After setting, which is the last setting in the config under Enable/Disable.
  25. This is fixed. Will be in next release.
