  1. Im not sure why its happing when your exiting zsnes, but this error is being caused by what seems to be an invalid theme configuration file. Are you using custom layouts for ZSNES?

    Happy 4th!

    Enjoy the holiday guys.
  3. When the Nag screen shows dont press anything. GameEx will start up in several seconds. It sounds like you have not got a web browser installed as the default web browser, but basically dont press anything. Thanks. Tom.

    1964 N64 Emu

Things might have changed, but it was that project64 was the only one that supported command line option. I dont think 1964 supports command line.
  5. Sorry, that's all i got I thought it was the old bios issue. Its probably the MAME version then. I guess patience for the next mame build is the solution here, or info if the NeoGeo stuff has changed.
  6. One option to fix this may be to open up the advanced config app. Go under Advanced MAME settings. Turn off verify roms and then turn on only exists. Then update the list. This way GameEx wont tell MAME.exe to verify the roms, that's whats happening. MAME thinks there bad. This is an old problem. I think its because the NeoGeo bios got updated or something like that.
  7. Yeah, sorry not sure. Only shot in the dark would be check numlock. I cant think for any reason that it would treat arrow keys any differently at the moment.
  8. It should work. Can you post the map file, and your log? (Zipped first) Actually it may be that GameEx cant find the map file. I think you need to specifiy the full path to it. The log should hopefully tell you if it cant find it. Let me know if that's it.
  9. Thanks folks. Winners are: BKENOBI VIPER0904 Please email me to get your license.
  10. Zip and Post your GameEx.ini and I'll try and duplicate the issue here. Thanks. Tom.
  11. hmm, not really sure right now. Let me check it out here, and see what I find. Could you please post the full log though? Tom
  12. Yes, have to agree there. Almost certain its theme related, so yes, check codec, I think Ive seen this before. Its failing when its trying to draw the background, which Im guessing here is a video. EDIT: Folks thats why it always helps to give the whole log. Any errors never do tell me exactly what's wrong, all it tells me is that particualy sub routine of function entry point of where the error occured.
  13. This should work, so Ill look into it. All I can think is its because you may need to set the backround images actually in the theme editor if its a v2 theme. Give that a go, and please let me know how it works out.
  14. LOL (With you not at you). I wish now I'd have made it a comp, and said please give your best go at saying what you would do for a license. eg Eat dog food? EDIT: Ill make that the next giveaway
  15. Yes, no contest this time..
  16. Thanks mate. If you cant recreate it it means GameEx is 100% Vista compitable now
  17. Hey. This one: I upgraded my Nvidia drivers a couple of days ago, and this issue seems to be fixed for me now. I was always pretty certain it was a driver/vista bug. Can you please confirm Adultry if you have a chance. Not sure if your using nVidia or ATI?
  18. 30th June, 2007 - GameEx 8.20 External applications now have an also launch setting for launching processes asynchrously. So there now in line with MAME and emulator support Fix to disable mouse setting. Now disables mouse wheel. In addition new setting to just disable the mouse wheel

  20. OK, fun time. Im raffling 2 gameex licenses. If your interested please just reply to this post. Ill pick the winners early next week. Probably Monday. Tom.
  21. No problem, glad I could help. Enjoy.
  22. In the past this has been caused by a bare bone/nlited install of windows. Only known fix as of now is to reinstall windows.
  23. Hi Oddie, This sounds very odd. I suggest tbe following: Unintstall again, but then delete the gameex folder c:\program files\gameex Then install again. I suspect this is caused from an upgrade from a older version, and an old configuration setting. As the programmer I do understand what your saying, and what is happening just dont know why. Anyway try the above.
  24. yeah you copy the file, then edit it. Look at one of the files. It should explain what every thing does. You dont need them for every emu, just when you need to do something like map a gamepad to keyboard or remap keyboard, set exit combination on gamepad etc.
  25. Your welcome, and yes the emu configs are custom. I hope to make it more intuitive but for now, you just take a copy of one of the ini's with windows explorer and rename it. The feature is a little hidden, like I said I hope to make it more intuitive, maybe Ben can do something with them in the setup wizard in the future, or I can code a front end for editing and creating them. Something I want to do at least. Cheers.
