  1. Thank you very much. It seems there was a mixture of versions there as when i loaded the new install the animations where very different. I now have many options and menus and I am currently updating my Roms List. Well worth the donation
  2. Looks like its missing from the main menu. I've tried adding and removing it..... I'll keep trying.... Maybe a full removal from regestry and everything then reinstall..... Should Mame need to run when just viewing the rom list???......
  3. They are located in the F:\ The updatelist I can not locate though in settings: hide updatelist = NO...... Where is it located?
  4. When Selecting "All Mame Games" there is a screen that comes up, It's a picture of controlls and on those each button has "88 games" nest to it..... Then it minimises to a black screen then comes back to the GameEx menu.
  5. I have just installed the latest GameEx and setup through both the wizard and advanced settings. GameEx loads but when selecting "All Mame Games" or any of the other categories it seems to load a black screen then 5 seconds reverts back to the menu..... What I have done. Removed the old version of GameEx Installed the new version of GameEx Run through setup Advanced setup and Wizard Many setting changes including Defaults for everything and Theme changes. Log File reports no errors: 13:55:47.5 6/30/2007: Testing Main Loop Once: Main Loop ran successfully 13:56:40.6 6/30/2007: Running: cmd.exe /c E: E:\Emulators\Mame32\Mame32.exe MAMEAll -rompath F:\Mame32\roms -triplebuffer -nowindow -joy 13:58:48.9 6/30/2007: Running: cmd.exe /c E: E:\Emulators\Mame32\Mame32.exe MAMEAll -rompath F:\Mame32\roms -triplebuffer -nowindow -joy Event Viewer shows no errors. When running Mame32 all games load and run. Running the above command: "E:\Emulators\Mame32\Mame32.exe MAMEAll -rompath F:\Mame32\roms -triplebuffer -nowindow -joy" << Does nothing in command I just Donated to this software too......
  6. All i did was: 1. close the program. 2. Edit the ini file. 3. load the program. Computer is not connected to the internet and was a complete fresh install that day. I think a full reload of OS is a bit drastic to get the software working when it had been working for over 5hrs all day. Does not matter.....
  7. when running GameExConfig.exe i get an exception error: Process id=0x26c(620), thread id=0x274 (628) AAAARRGG....
  8. After editing the GameEx.ini file. I now get this error: 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: GameEx: Version 4.73: Starting Log 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: Operating System Platform: Win32NT 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: Operating System Name: Windows XP 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: Operating System Version: 5.1.2600 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: ERROR: An error occured while checking for previous instance of GameEx 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: This can be caused by a bad windows or .net framework install. 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: GameEx will likely function incorrectly as it cannot check for running processes 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: GameEx will now exit with errors 17:40:49.3 7/08/2005: ERRORS DETECTED: EXITING ============================================= I have uninstalled, I have reinstalled, I have un installed Removed all registry keys regarding gameex then reinstalled .Net then reinstalled GameEx.
