From what I can tell you've specified a blank setting for the resolution GameEx runs at. Go into Advanced configuration and look at display settings.

I'm not sure Im with you, what type of file is it? WMV files now use WMP in GameEx so as to play DRM'd content. Other formats should have an aspect though. Can you give a bit more detail? -

Yeah, sorry, it must be a direvitave of Blue-Ex. I guess you could always contact the person, and ask him to share it with us all? That could only be for the greater good. In regard to the download problems, yeah I switched hosts a while a go at a cost because of those issues. There should be none of that happening any more.

Hi, this is actually on purpose from around version 8, but Ill think about adding a setting for it. I think the problem is you just cant please everyone

Its the Blue-Ex theme with 3d alpha blended transitions turned on. Blue-Ex is included with the default GameEx themes.

Although not ideal. Its working exactly how I meant it to. So its not a bug as such. The MAME audio is unrelated. There are seperate setting for playing the jukebox for each emulator config. I will look at it, but its not high priority for me for now. Sorry.

You mean the new error reporting? Load up the advanced config app, and go to enable/disable features. Note though its for reporting hard unhandled errors in gameex, not helping folks with configuration. I think you might misunderstand the purpose of it.

This has always been the case, in regard to when emulators are enabled in the screensaver. its even documentated in the config app as far as I know. Can I ask that folks are just a little careful when reporting bugs specific to versions, there's two in this post. If your not 100% please post a new topic. No worries though if its honest mistake.

You say this is related to the latest version, are you sure about it? Did it work fine in older versions?

Yeah Fortunatly its developed so it should not report those kind of errors.

6th July, 2007 - GameEx 8.23 Thanks to the new error reporting (loving this!) fixes an error when switching themes for unregistered users I encourage everyone to report your errors. I know with MS it seems its futile, but I can assure you with GameEx its making a huge difference.

No its not bad taste. To be honest most of the British dont even know what it means, let alone care about it. Its funny Americans seems to think its a sore point with it but its really not at all.. We couldnt care. Seriously.. There's lots of stuff Ive found out like that while working with you guys, which to be honest is mostly what I do outside of GameEx

5th July, 2007 - GameEx 8.22 Thanks to the new error reporting just fixed a bug affecting brand new users Also found someone trying to hack the registration!

5th July, 2007 - GameEx 8.21 GameEx now features error reporting When an unhandled error occurs, you will have the option to email me the log file. It can be turned off easily, and you can also set it to always submit error reports. By default it will ask.

Hi all, I know a lot of the youth today have these not thought out anti-capitalist ideas about things. If your one of them dont answer this! But, is registered version of GameEx a good deal, and good value? Just like some feedback please folks..

Try another theme, or let me know if it has custom emulator layouts. Look at the ini files in the folder for the theme.
