  2. Also you can look at the log. Theres a link right there in the start menu.
  3. Thanks for reporting. Will be fixed in 8.11, publishing now. (Ther'll be no release notes).
  4. 5th May, 2007 - GameEx 8.10 Thanks to Ben Baker: Updated fixed model 2 support Much friendlier defaults in setup wizard for new installs Moving and sorting emulators in the setup wizard retains your favorites Model 2 emulator 0.4 games now supported in GameEx Fixes issue with loading screen not displaying Fixes issue with file names that contain apostrophes Improved loading speed when launched from Media Center Fixes issue with adding GameEx to Vista X64 Media Center start page Much better display quality of themes when shown at different resolutions
  5. Thanks for reporting. This will be fixed in the next release.
  6. Could you please zip up and post gameex.ini, your log and data.mdb (in the data directory). Ive looked but I need more detail to figure out what's going on here.
  7. I've got the new games setup in my development version here. Will be in next release.
  8. Nice job HK. Works great here. Will be in next release.
  9. Ben, I think the issue is that in the new model 2 version, the list now scrolls, so your wrapper is not working at the moment.
  10. Can you try the attached GameEx.exe. This "should" fix the theme and loading screen. GameEx.zip
  11. Not much I can do about the loading screen, but does ths start sound work with 7.54? I'll let someone else help you with Model 2 if that's ok. EDIT: Actually I found a bug with the loading screen. Thanks for letting me know about that.
  12. Can you post some screenshots of this "corruption".
  13. Im not sure why the existing games are not working, but I can tell you the newer model 2 games have not been added to GameEx yet, so they won't be listed.
  14. If you can handle this, can you run regedit.exe Go to LOCAL MACHINE > SOFTWARE > GAMEEX And see if you have a key called LCD, and if theres anything in there. Thanks. Tom
  15. Can you do the following: 1. Verify that 'C:\Program Files\GameEx\DATA\Data.mdb' actually does not exist 2. Post the full log. 3. Try installing again.

I thought we were talking about PDF files here? Does CDisplay show PDF files? I thought it was just for comics and as a picture viewer?
  18. 29th April, 2007 - GameEx 8.09 New database driven favorites and statistics. This will improve stability, reliability, validation and integrity of your game data The data will be automatically be upgraded, but you will loose any stored video aspects This is going to be much better going forward There's new viewable statistics in GameEx for registered users and these are also available from GameExtender Much faster and enhanced 7-ZIP support, GameEx will only extract the entire archive when launching, in the menu the files in the archive are just listed
  19. I think this may be some kind of other issue as I cant think of anything thats changed that would affect that. Have you turned off advanced gfx in the config?
  20. Thank Stu, I got the MAME most played issue fixed now, and am ready for the public relase. Thanks again for your help.
  21. Stu, Does "Gunstar Heroes.7z" exist in the rom folder for emulator 8?
  22. I've just uploaded release candidate 2: http://tomspeirs.com/gameexsetup.exe I still need to hear back more on the data upgrade, mainly when it does not work 100% But this version should hopefully fix all issues with statistics and GameExtender, and GameExtender "Server" now also shows statistics. Thanks. Tom

    ebooks

GameEx does have an in built PDF viewer (manual viewer). So it would be fairly easy for me to code an ebook viewer in GameEx using its in built pdf viewer. Is there any interest in this, and anyone have any ideas such as where it should appear in the menu?
  24. Hi, can you please post C:\program files\gameex\data\backup\gamelist.INI Also wanted to say the upgrade process and new system checks to see if the files exists and the emulator is enabled. So that could be way. Basically GameEx validates all this data now. Did Gunstar heroes work in favorites? Thanks. Tom
  25. Hi, can you eleborate on that please?
