.net 6 is approaching end of life so GameEx has been moved to .net 8. Windows 8 and 7 is not supported under .net 8. Installing GameEx on below Windows 10 will use the .net 4 based version. This is automatic. New company logo support and a full collection of images is included. If a publisher match is found, it will be displayed. MAME Bezel project support. These can be downloaded when installing GameEx. Ability to use bezels (including above) for horizontal games on non 4:3 displays as well as the existing vertical support. The default vertical and 4:3 MAME bezel has been AI upscaled. Faster ini (configuration) file reading. Emulator database publishers and developers have been normalized to match the new company logos. Fixed, updated and x64 archive support. Updated MAME support files. View the full article

PS: I setup an Asus AImesh at my friends big house recently. it works pretty well. Single ssid thoughougt hes two story house with finished basement. - gx 11000 as mesh in loft - 98 pro as mesh in basement (I get 2.5gb speed in the basement locally over wifi with a be 900. Probably more when windows properly does wifi 7). - gx axe 11000 as router on ground floor in office. Acts as a router, ad blocker and own dns server right now. Can also do vpn and all that jazz if needed. The loft has a wired backhaul. The basement connects over 6ghz. Individual meshes do allow wired connections into them. All running Merlin. Used or refurbished gx 11000s are a good option for 1gb speeds if you can get 160mhz where you are. You will probably get a wireless 1gb backhaul even without 160mhz due to more streams on these things. You could of course use a wired backhaul over coax and setup a mesh like that. It depends on your house whether you need a wired backhaul.

I am always interested in this stuff. I guess it depends on the quality of the coax. Looks better than powerline for sure. I have had fairly good results with trendnet too. Had several switches. Where i couldn't easily go wired i tend to use wifi bridges. With Wifi 7 at 5GB these days in real word (in bridge mode at 6ghz), it largely overtakes powerline and this but not cheap and you have massive moon bases that your wife or partner might not like! Also distance could be an issue with wifi which is where mesh comes in meaning more moon bases and cost! If your coax is up to par this looks like a great option.

i guess i could add a feature to override that flip. leave it with me.

Yeah, this is by design to be compatible with the old HyperSpin front end. Sorry, not much you can do other that filp it if you recorded it outside of PinballX. Vertical videos should be detected fine.

Hi, Nothing tangible but plans to do it and how. I have been doing work in my head! I also discovered emulation station desktop edition is cross platform albeit with a paid android version. So PinballX is looking like more of a winner over GameEx. Thanks, Tom.

If you just want to record footage of one game, i think you may be looking completely at the wrong thing. Use OBS Studio or if you have an nvidia gpu - geforce experience,

nomachine - found decent free alternative to AnyDesk and Teamviewer
Tom Speirs replied to Tom Speirs's topic in Social Club
No, Anydesk does not have similar restrictions sorry. I've been using it for several years. The paid version does not cost much if you want to follow the rules. i cant recommend it enough over TeamViewer. i have not looked at helpwire but can see its mainly developed in Ukraine by a US company. it might deserve a look. As I said, I was looking for something for mac when i found nomachine. Nothing is really awesome on mac as a host but I stuck with paid AnyDesk in the end. On PC nomachine seemed like a really good option. Especially the 60fps support. Although there are still better options for 60fps on PC. Nothing really beats nvidia geforce based. Im still patiently waiting for the 60fps perfect solution.. All I really want is a rdp type experience with 60fps that is not session based for when i don't want rdp. ive not seen anything do that yet without some caveats. AnyDesk and RDP for me for now. -
4 minutes should be the max but if there is a good reason for more I will add that feature for you. The driver GPU option supports audio and is the best option. its designed for Nvidia Geforce Experience recording. You need to set the path in geforce experieince, remove the overlays and maybe enable desktop capture too. I have not looked at it for a while and have not had much feedback on that feature. If you want the best videos for emulators though either let them auto download from me or use emumovies.

I wanted to ask, sorry if it is stupid version, but can you actually confirm this? Is this actually the results or are you just assuming? Its an option but GameEx does not have to sign you into Steam each time you launch a game, or didn't have to.
