I remember the day this game hit the floor at our local arcade. This many years later I'm not sure the spelling is correct, but Doh-Rah's was our typical arcade hangout, since it was within biking distance. It wasn't huge like Brunswick Billiards, but it was cozy and wasn't lit up like the face of the sun (like Brunswick)
If I recall correctly, this was one of the first to push the price above a single quarter (oh and here that's being mentioned in the video as I reply), but everyone was so mesmerized by this game it didn't matter. I never got good at it, not even close, but others had it mastered weeks later and it was pretty cool just watching them play.
It represented the next evolutionary step at the time, but by the time people mastered it the replay value suffered. Still, it was damn cool at the time it launched.
