  1. Thanks for the release!, things just got much simpler - well done!. PS works fine in GameEx aswell!.
  2. Just throwing some idea`s and not claiming it will work, but have you tried setting system type to visual pinball in your physmod set up?. And what are the dmd values of the default rom in the registry?, or even try deleting the default entry and renaming one of your known to be good roms as default. Also there is the mjr mod of phymod5 that store its values differently to stock phys5 is that what you are using?. Although I do not see how that can affect the Pinmame reg settings IDK?. Do you know if this behavior started with or before the implementation of pinmame support into PinballX?. I know that is more questions than answers but it may bring something to light.
  3. Recently set up a wiimote whiteboard and came across Touchmote as a good option for pairing with win7 64.... http://touchmote.net/ Ps, A wii-whiteboard set up works rubbish with Bluestacks .
  4. What, Indie Game: the movie?, yes I did and it was fascinating to see those guys personalities. Phil fish is an emotional chap though don`t you think?. R-P not familiar with Myst/Riven but the play store finds XON if you search those titles - just had a quick play and it looks good. Oh and this may come as good news ....... http://www.cnet.com/news/google-play-expands-refund-window-to-two-hours/
  5. Just discovered Monument Valley, looks great and reminds me of Fez . Plays great in Bluestacks with a trackball or just on your phone.
  6. Honestly - no. The fun part for me was setting it up, and I already have a bluestacks install on my GameEx cab so have some overlap there. For me the appeal of bluestacks on the pincab is playing games that are enhanced by the form factor - ie the pinball games or flappy bird ect. Contrary to that statement is Timberman as even on the phone it looks a bit "8bit" and then looks blocky on the big screen - but for some reason I do enjoy it?. What about you, giving your daughter any competition?.
  7. That did used to work randr with the old beta`s, just not with the newer builds sadly. Maybe I need to post over there..
  8. Ha ha yeah, Robot unicorn is now on the cab, but the first guy who saw it on my macho cab remarked on how much "pride" the rainbow adorned unicorn had . The hill climb game is also great fun, but as someone who has heard his own bones break I cringe whenever the driver snaps his neck, and for me that is often . Sometimes navigating the play store for stuff not ad-ridden can be a chore but is I think ultimately worth it for the odd gem. So what else has your daughter recommended?. The blue loading background has been bugging me and I want to change it to black but so far can not work out how. I have poked around bluestacks for an image and looked inside the .exe`s with no luck and as far as I can see it is not in the usual android file system locations so am at a loss?. So unless it is part of the hypervisor emulating android I am stuck, anyone have any insight?.
  9. Good catch, both screens are 1080 so it just worked luckily. Talking about backgrounds I found an app - Simple Image Wallpaper that lets you set a static image as your bluestacks wallpaper. This was surprisingly tricky without the app, and allowed me to set my loading image as wallpaper for those times when BS is visible. This combined with GO Launcher means that when you do see it it just looks like this...
  10. Looks great randr! , PinballX is really forgiving about screen changing and does a great job with finding focus. I like your gamesroom in the other vid more though. Wonder how the old landscape version of Timescape would play on the backglass? .
  11. This is something I had been meaning to try before to get the original Timeshock on the BG. Turns out all you need to do is make screen 2 the primary monitor temporarily. Display Changer II is becoming one of my favourite apps and can do this just fine. To get this to work with BS you only need to set up another Bluestacks config within PinballX and replace the two iRotate lines in the loader and rename it. To set up DC2 you first need to create two configs one a default with the command dc2.exe -create="DefaultMonitors.xml" Then go into your screen settings and set screen two as primary then again run dc2.exe -create="Swapped Primary.xml" You can name them whatever you like this is just an example I then made two batch files... One called Swapped Primary.bat cd C:\????\????\????\DC2dc2.exe -configure="Swapped Primary.xml"the other named restore.bat cd C:\????\????\?????\DC2dc2.exe -configure="DefaultMonitors.xml"You can put the BAT`s, XML`S and DC2.exe anywhere just so long as they are in the same folder and the paths point to them. Then edit the Irotate lines from the loader as below and name it something like Bluestacks-BG and you are good to go Think this should work with most things you could want to place on the backglass?.
  12. Yep you can do it in desktop just fine, as long as BS and the game are both rotated into portrait already and windowed. The coordinates are mapped by the blue overlay, see the vid below. Just make sure to untick the box to save the cfg in the default location or it will crash.
  13. Config/art for IMPOSSIBLE ROAD and yep it lives up to it`s name. Impossible Road.7z
  14. Just had a play on my phone in portrait and it is a no go as the unicorn is off the screen to the left . It is a fun colourful game in landscape though - shame.
  15. Geometry Dash has turned out to be a bit of a minx to tame perfectly as it would start before bluestacks was set into portrait properly. Randr and myself have been fighting it into submission in the background and found that a delay is what is needed. I could not find any way within bluestacks to do this, but managed to make some apps that bluestacks can see and start, that then basically just start BS - wait a set time then launch G dash. That all sounds a bit grande but is actually quite easy using tasker. Attached are the apps with differing amounts of sleep should anyone else ever need them. I am guessing posting android apps breaks no rule if you make them yourself - but if so please just delete them. A config and art set for Impossible Jump is also attached but man is it hard compared to G Dash. Geo Dash Delay.7z JUMP.7z
  16. Loving Geometry Dash at the moment - just so addictive . Works great in bluestacks too. http://youtu.be/FYtNOswhuQ4
  17. Well randr it may be just you and myself playing with this, but Geometry Dash could well be the most fun either of us will get just pushing just one button on a pincab . Geometry Dash.7z
  18. Just found a link to download the windows version from that vid, it is at the foot of the high score table .... http://www.dynamicentertainment.se/system/gravitrex/report.php
  19. Yeah tel me about it! - setting "inverted controls" to "on" in the dropdown menu at the top helps greatly I found, you even get a bit cocky until level 8 that is . I do admit a love of these types of game - hell I even built a dedicated Vector cab once. This may be slightly off topic for the pincab forum but these guys enjoy gravitreX....
  20. Yeah GravitreX is great, but does have a complicated menu to navigate. With my flippers as left and right the thrusters just work OOTB and a dropdown menu at the top allows you to map a key for picking up stuff ect - just do not remap the flippers again. The PinballX set up doc has a section on mapping the virtuapin plunger with Xpadder that will help with Rob-O-Bot. And yeah it is frustrating .
  21. The design is coming along nicely - well done, soon be time for saw dust . I know you are moving away from the tardis idea but this video/girl made me laugh so I think I will share it... Maybe a fold up model?.
  22. Sure will, so things seem to work a bit better if you remap your flipper keys to left and right globally for bluestacks so I have changed the AHK wrapper a bit.... This also allows you to use your plunger with Rob-O-Bot if mapped to "Down" with Xpadder. One thing I neglected to say before is that Set orientation is used to force any landscape apps into portrait. Enclosed are the control cfg`s I use, along with my XML and script including settings for Vector Swarm. If anyone could use the artwork to go with this I will add it to the FTP. Oh and any other game suggestions are most welcome . Blue stacks.7z
  23. Just had a bit of a play adding some more games to this and have found three that work well using just the flippers. gravitrex is possibly the most fun of the three with great physics. Timberman is a very simple game that`s damn hard to master, at least for me. Swing Copters is the latest game from the flappy birds guy and installs but just would not start, so Swing Stars is used instead. Two games that I really wanted on the cab Sky Force and Unpossible will not work, but are still fun on my tablet. Abyss Attack does work well but like a lot of android apps is very much in app purchase focused. Still want to look some more for good games but so far this is all that I have found.
  24. Good point, that certainly works too .
  25. Should be a great time saver - well done!.
