  1. Space sims again - this looks interesting...
  2. Reading around it seems that at the moment the Vive is edging in front the RIFT from folks that have tried both - BUT that is only when compared to the DK2 and not the CV1 version off the rift, only time will tell I guess. Just not sure I can resist long enough though! .
  3. Not released yet, but pricing is due in a matter of days - may splurge on one myself, wanna buy a used dmd?? .
  4. My personal feelings are that the new PinDMD v3 looks like an amazing product. It is not a screen but an RGB LED DMD with a USB controller built in (acronym overload anyone?). Guess it comes down to the real DMD vs the screen debate.
  5. Unless i`m missing an entry that part of the INI seems to be used by PBX to log the last played table so will be overwritten each play, shame I got excited then!.
  6. There is a "Plugin manager" in the main PBX dir, highlight quicklaunch and use the configure (I think) button lower left.
  7. Yep adultery`s quicklaunch plugin will handle that perfectly... http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/13171-plugin-quicklaunch/
  8. Just had a quick look at the site and could find no documentation or mention of it running from a commandline but I guess installing would give some instructions right?. Wonder if Mess has those LED games added?. On a side note this is the same guy that had Luna city arcade right? - cool dude. Shame his "supportive" wife made him sell his games after :-(. He made this also Sorry that went a bit off track but those two vids are faves of mine.
  9. Think "Americas most haunted" is indeed a special case as it has no rom so UltraDMD is used to produce the animations?. https://ultradmd.wordpress.com/download/ Steve`s ongoing issue has carried over from win 7 to win 10 and seems a tricky creature for sure . Ps, steve have you checked your PM`s?
  10. OK so more VR stuff - but virtual cinema and arcades!....
  11. Wish you were here has been my all time fave acoustic guitar song for as long as I can remember, and probably always will be.
  12. Cool glad it worked out! In regards to the "Tables" text it is now a feature request after someone else asked the same question This thread was linked as an example .
  13. I would be interested to know what happens if you rename your sub table folder from \Tables\phymod To \Tables\Tables ?.
  14. One other thought is to rename your exe from VPinball991.exe to just VPinball.exe, as it is possible that PBX is watching for the wrong process as I think it just produces VPinball.exe anyway. I always rename my exe to VPinball.exe and thinking back that is probably the original reason. Tom is bound to of already thought of this but anything is worth a try, just remember to make the change in the settings wizard also. Would be handy to learn what pinballX is doing whilst making those log entries?.
  15. Just saw this coolness also....
  16. Hmm well apart from looking sideways at the USB adaptor I am out of suggestions as to a native cause, think one of us needs to force the playfield into focus with AHK or something. I can try this later in the week if no one else wants to beat me to it, anyone?.
  17. Just experimented with my cab and the my log also infers to my display being windowed -odd, guess you have tried VP in both fullscreen and full screen windowed?. Crazy idea number 42 is to check that all screens are running in landscape mode and the PF is not set to portrait - unlikely but still worth confirming . One very suspect thing is that my log has an entry for the correct rom being found where yours does not. So am wondering if the rom the table script is using is not the same one you defined in the games list manager?, this may not be important if the correct Rom/B2s is already running from the select screen but it seems strange you have no log entry? I am not using B2s in the front end but turned it on as a test and on one load PBX matched the wrong back glass in the menu but the table started the correct one at load, BUT the old wrong one was not killed and persisted even after closing PBX to the desktop?. May be worth then just checking if the have the correct Rom defined in your XML to match the one used in the table script just in case this is hanging PBX?, as VP would start whatever Rom it wants independent of PBX. Also may be worth double checking your XML layout matches this one... Again this is all just guesswork and maybe tom can step in explaining what PinballX is doing when those events are logged?.
  18. Starting to think draco`s suggestion of it being a hardware issue is the only possible cause, how are your screens connected, is one running from your APU possibly?, have you experimented with connecting them differently. As for software the only other test I can think of is to test VP with the DMD dragged onto the playfield and B2S not active so vp is limited to just the one playfield screen, that would eliminate VP/Pinmame window as a cause.
  19. Mostly guessing here also. Now my final suggestion is that there used to be a very old bug with VP that would do exactly this and the solution was to run VP in compatibility mode for Win NT SP4 would you believe. But if the OP has indeed disabled all pinmame windows and still see`s the same result then that is unlikely, unless it is a missed config error?. Steve do you happen to have Future pinball running successfully or only VP.
  20. Wonder if toggling the "position pinmame" option will have an effect?. Its odd that screen 3 grabs focus even if nothing is being rendered on that screen?. And yes your frustration is understandable.
  21. Cool thanks for humouring me and agreeing to experiment - I know some of the suggestions are far fetched (and possibly patronising ) but just by eliminating stuff we will make progress. Disabling the pinmame window in the script so it is not displayed should be useful to eliminate a number of things hopefully. It is odd that your mouse cursor finds its way to screen 3 as I am sure mine is in a corner of the playfield screen, but I do need to check that. Good hunting!.
  22. You may be right I am just tossing ideas out there - the width and height are correct for it being rotated 270 deg though. Your log indicates the main screen is running full screen windowed not sure if that could be important?. Maybe it could be a Win 10 thing also, are both PBX and VP running as admin? might be worth trying both in compatibility mode for win 7 - who knows? Also may be worth disabling the Pinmame DMD in the table script with HideDmd = 1 on a test table as PBX may have already started it with the B2s whilst in menu. Trying it with the B2S option disabled and or the hide Pinmame option on and off are worth experimenting with I think. Seem to remember Carny_Priest having loads of focus issues also with his three screen P2K cab but he found workarounds for all I think?. Guess if nothing else works AHK could send a mouseclick to the playfield window after launch.
  23. An option to change the "Tables" text appended to each entry in the menu as noted in thread here Could also be useful for folks using pinballX in other ways than pincab like this Thanks!.
  24. Looking good!. What wheel do you have?, mine is a G25 and it self rotates each way at boot then centers until a game is started, may be able to set pinballX as a game in the config but then once in a game it may not be centered IDK?.
