  1. A little more testing and I'm putting LedWiz on the cab! Can't wait for the plugin's official release!
  2. And lovely centerpieces for your holiday table. I can't say for sure, but it seems to me that you have an empty file path somewhere. Just a guess though.
  3. Do you have flat menus enabled? My radio stations show up on the first page but I may have changed a setting to get it to appear that way...
  4. That's odd that you would have to do that... I use Auto Frame Rate with a similar CPU and I have no problems. Does it stutter or is it just too fast? Does it work properly outside of GameEx? Also, to clarify... There's no graphics plugin for pSX. It's self-contained. You can limit the framerate however within the Configurations menu. I assume PSX games means the pSX emu is having problems... If you're using ePSXe then disregard my post.
  5. Make sure you have your ZSNES emulator configured properly - MapKeys=True.
  6. I'm not the least bit crazy about that idea. I use the External Apps section of GameEx. So if one was to do that, make it an enable / disable feature. My feature request: The sreensaver is awesome! I'm sure everyone would agree. However, your seperate screensaver app you created displays a nice MAME screen with the ROM title before launching the game. Any way you could do that in GameEx? I use other emulators in my Attract Mode and it's harder to quit GameEx and pop open the LOG file if I see a game that looks cool and don't know what it's called... Especially since Run Last Game only works for MAME titles. Thanks!

    gamepad problem

    Me either.
  8. START -> All Programs -> GameEx -> Advanced Configuration -> Next Page -> Radio Stations. Like Michael said, make sure you enable any stations you put in by selecting the tab that says Station XX Enabled - Yes.
  9. 1) Yes. Look under the Text / Language tab. Set the default language to 'Custom' and change whatever you like. 2) Nope. 3) I did this by changing the external programs tab to PC Games, and I installed each PC game in that menu. I think you can also set it up so PC Games work like Emulated Games as well.
  10. You could theoretically just export the emulator by opening the Advanced Config and clicking Export. Then, simply change the file extension (.ini) to a notepad (.txt), then post the .txt for us here.
  11. As far as the reviews I've read, everyone who MAMEs seems to lean towards the LCD TopGun... link to thread... I have to say that I don't currently use one but I was looking at this also. I have my joysticks all set up to navigate GameEx and cab-friendly controls are set to on.
  12. @Quixote>This problem occurs when you disconnect the IPAC and run the USB UltraStiks? Not that I'm asking you to do that... I was hoping you tried that already. Although the two of you are having similar problems, you both have very different setups... Is this maybe a StickyKeys issue? that's the only idea I have. As stated before, I cannot reproduce this problem in my gaming environment.
  13. As an avid 7z user, I have to triple that notion.
  14. Snap! I forgot all about the xml output.
  15. I'm sure you read my thread through before posting, but for me it was some sort of interferance (sp?) between my wireless keyboard. Are you using anything wireless? ie network card?
  16. Wow... Spam has discovered a way to pollute old threads too. Great! SPAM... It's not just for email anymore.
  17. I can't seem to recreate this problem Michael... but I'm not using the public release so I may not be the right person to ask.
  18. You can use clrMAMEpro to verify and rebuild the ROMs you have to match a new build of MAME if you don't want the other 2500+ games that have been added since 0.58 and just run the set you have... Link...
  19. Also, depending on the version make sure your command line arguments are correct. The last official PJ64 release needs this command line set up in GameEx: Project64.exe [ROMPath]\[RomFile] However if you are using the new WIP that you have to 'pay' for, it should look like this: Project64.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" Hope that helps!
  20. You tried the button mashing theory? Hey, out of curiosity... Are you using Joy2Key for anything? Also, just so I can do some research on the side... What type of joystick are you using (if any?) Also, just to satisfy my curiosity... If you are using a gamepad / joystick / etc. is GameEx able to detect it, and can you use it when you browse the main menu?
  21. Not to poke holes in the Jiffy-Pop tin but... I don't see how that would affect his mouse pointer problem. That sounds more EMU-specific. So, if you're gonna reinstall GameEx, make sure you reinstall SNES9x as well. Like Kaze said though - make sure you export your EMU settings first!
  22. Unless youre trying to run CHDs, 1 gig is way more than enough to run most MAME games... Just for the record. Try turning off the 'Verify Sets' option within GameEx and updating your MAME list. I can't promise that will work but you can try.
  23. Cab friendly feature in GameEx makes your joystick less sensitive on right and left selections. Did you try holding 'over' for a few seconds? *note* Start -> GameEx -> Advanced Config -> Input Settings -> Cab Friendly Controls is how you enable / disable his feature.

...and we could have a shout box if people wanted to find others to play a certain game with. Like a direct line between my GameEx and yours... Ya dig?
