  1. Another theme to add to the masses... The script font is courtesy of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in honor of VCS for the PSP. If you haven't tried it, you'll never know how great it is. Enjoy!!! PS - There's no 'smut' in this theme, but 2 to 1 odds say your wives won't let you use it. Download Size: 44.5mb Ratio: 1024x768 A quick note: If anyone can help me figure out an animated selection bar that works with this theme I'd greatly appreciate it. That particular feature goes way over my head.
  2. You know, one could package the font in with the theme, and maybe Tom or Kaze could write a little 'Font Install' program that runs when a theme is unpacked somewhere down the road... But I'm pretty sure you get to distinguish between the Title font and the List font in the theme.ini so place the font in the theme .zip and give install directions in the README. Just a suggestion. As far as characters go, I think the new Star Wars images lok nice, but if your're going with authenticity I gotta agree that the early Star Wars cast would look a bit nicer.
  3. JACK: Copy and paste the emulator's ini here. The easiest way to do that is to open GameEx advanced config, select the Visual Pinball setup screen, click EXPORT and save it to your desktop. Open it with your notepad / wordpad, copy all the text and post it here in the forum. We'll be better able to help you then. Don't get frustrated, my friend. This one was probably second hardest for me (next to Chankast) and it took me almost 4 days of pulling out my hair to get it to even launch in GameEx. We'll get ya through this.
  4. Jack: Make sure you have the Tables folder set as the emulator's working path in GameEx config.
  5. Nevermind. I figured it out. This is awesome by the way!
  6. Okay. So far so good. Now... When I try to launch Millionaire, I get the score window with the black overdrop. I can hear the sounds but I cannot see the table. Actually, it's always on top so to close the screen I have to drag the Task Manager to my other monitor to close it. Everything is installed correctly because games that don't use PinMAME work great. Any suggestions?
  7. Hi everyone. I just got through downloading a Visual Pinball torrent, which included all the tables that work on it currently. I have also installed both VP and PinMAME. Now I'm ready to play. Just need help setting it up. I also wanna note that the torrent was zipped. Do I need to extract each table? Where do I put the .vp files? When using recreated tables for PinMAME, what's the right way to place table data? Again, these tables come in one zip file. Finally, how do I set it up properly in GameEx? Thanks in advance.
  8. Links and all! Thanks!

    PJ64 1.7...

I tried that method also. I'm truly stumped on this one.

    PJ64 1.7...

Yes, of course. I'm using the latest plugins and exe as of: 10-03 Maybe it's something in the latest build? It keeps launching as a window. Then when I hit ALT+ENTER, it gets stuck instead of going to full screen. Maybe I just set it up wrong this time around, but I don't think that's the case.

    PJ64 1.7...

For some reason, the new beta simply won't go into full screen for me. I do have the 'launch in full screen' box checked. Even when I try to launch from the GUI it won't go fullscreen for me. Am I missing something?
  12. Make sure you have the latest catlist also.
  13. Take note that on a PS2 controller you should set it up with the analog turned on. The buttons change if you're bouncing between the two modes.
  14. Can't you get a SmartJoy Adapter and run it through there?
  15. If you have got command line skills, try vanilla MAME (although I think they're more or less the exact same thing). As my man Han said, if you're still having problems let us know and we'll all do our best to walk you through it.
  16. Mame32Plus! has Kreed filter support? Wow! Musta missed that one. Did that happen as a result of the new renderer? I used to use it and switched back to vanilla MAME some time ago... Maybe time to switch again! Yay MAME! Doesn't the MAME32Plus! compile have an option to skip the disclaimer still?
  17. Damn I want that! But I'll wait... Not ready to shell out any more cash yet. I am excited though I'll say that much.
  18. When did PJ64 1.7 come out? *excited*
  19. Basically yeah... And it adds some extra features such as filtering (Kreed filters like 2xsai, super eagle, etc) and like y'all said... Netplay.
  20. Sadly, already tried that too.
  21. No luck. I tried to use a default install also but the same thing happens.
  22. Yes. I have a removable drive specifically for MAME games (blasted CHD's ) so the winkawaks folder is at the root. I used MAME 0.109 ROMs and had them recompiled for winkawaks with clrMAMEpro. I have tested (and am able to run) Neo Geo games and CPZN 1 & 2 games run properly in fullscreen through Winkawaks itself... However when I run them through GameEx I cannot run CPZN games at all. Neo Geo games are choppy (like I mentioned before). I'm looking at ling's ini right now... Hopefully we'll solve the mystery cuz these games look so much cleaner with the filter...
  23. No good... Same problem either way. What software would I need to create a video of the problem? .:. EDIT .:. I just discovered CPZN games don't run at all... I am using the most recent BIOS files.
  24. Made the appropriate changes - now it runs really fast but still deos the same thing. I was not having speed issues before (other than the pause screen the game ran at normal speed)
