  1. No problem Circo. I just get antsy since I have much to download. Just anted to be sure all is well.
  2. Ahh, of course. I'll see if EmuMovies has any manuals once he sends me my new login information.
  3. As long as you are somewhat familiar with computers, you shouldn't have any problems. Like bknobi said, we are always here to help. Feel free to post on the forum if you need further assistance. We'll do our best!
  4. Getting close to the date and no email... Is the 9th still the target date for our new passwords? Just want to clarify before I become a pain in the ass.
  5. Is there FTP access too? Downloading manuals one at a time sounds pretty tedious.
  6. That was a no brainer. MaLa is leading at the time of this post, and as far as FEs go it's a joke! GameEx puts that app to shame.
  7. Try this: psx.exe -fullscreen "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" I'm away from the cab right now, so if that doesn't work try: psx.exe -f "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"
  8. Thanks HK! Works a treat now. All I need to do now is to get it going in my emulators too and I'll be golden. Thanks again!
  9. Of course I'm sure.
  10. Well... I turned off Emulator Sorting and now it doesn't seem to be doing this anymore. If it does happen again I will of course post the log for you in a new post.
  11. Sure thing. Probably something stupid I'm doing wrong anyways.
  12. Um, I don't know why, but since I downloaded the latest version, all my ROMs are way screwed up. Like my SNES roms ae sometimes in the wrong category, sometimes there are no games in the list at all, sometimes GameEx loads game lists when it's supposed to be just sitting there... I didn't change anything so I have no idea why this is happening. .:EDIT:. Well, it seems to have rightes itself for now, but the 'Please Wait' menu keeps popping up and random game lists open up all the time while I'm scrolling other lists. For example: I'll be searching the NES list. the menu bar pops up like it's building a list and it will pop over to SNES or N64 even if I'm not pressing any buttons. Other times. I'll start GameEx and wait for the demo mode to start and it will randomly pull up a game list even with the controller unplugged andm y wireless mouse/keyboard switched off.
  13. Looks like aq great effort! Nice to see things like this out there. Now can GameEx take advantage of the DBs like it does for MAWS? That would be sweet. :You could be playing a game for, say, SNES, and click the link on the LIVE page to learn more. That is pushing GameEx to new heights!
  14. Yes that's exactly right.
  15. Well... I pause MAME (press P) and it still doesn't pop up. But it still pops up before the game, and it pops up when I select 'View Controls' so I really have no idea why it's not working. I didn't change anything as far as key codes so I am just totally lost here.
  16. Glad to be back. Just compiled MAME 0.129 without a hitch. Thanks again for a sweet program, and I will use that option next time I compile MAME.

Well... First off, GameEx *should* be able to use its own Virtual drive now if I'm not mistaken. I use Sega CD via Fusion, and it loads bin/cue files without need to mount the images. I'll leave these other questions up to the more seasoned users.
  18. Hiya HK! Well, I installed CPWizard finally, and it looks pretty great. I installed the patch when I compiled MAME. Now, though, when I press L in game, it won't pull up the CP. I can see the icon in the tray, and it shows when I boot the game, but why isn't it popping up when I run the game? The key is set to 'L' like it's supposed to be and everything, but it just doesn't want to come up. What am I doing wrong here? I set all the paths correctly and all triggers are set up in GameEx, so it's really driving me bonkers. I also have all the needed dats and inis. I sure would like to get this running, if for no other reason than to use the txt reader for walkthrus and whatnot. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. Probably a stupid question, but... If I'm using my quad core CPU to compile but running on a single core AMD processor in the cab, do I check the Quad Core ticker under 'Compile Options'? Is that an option just for the building process, or is that an option for the final product?
  20. Well, the US set is about 150 discs, so yeah it was kinda tedious. I used UltraISO for a few and snagged a bunch that were done already and DAT'd with boxes and discs and manuals etc. But yeah, it's a one at a time process and it takes some doing. On a side note, I'm working on Sega Saturn U set as we speak. What's the best emulator to use? I was thinking Satourne but I'm noobish to the Saturn so any info you could share would be awesome.
  21. I second the 1.7 idea... Paid to beta test (even though the updates just haven't been hitting as hard lately), and I also use texture packs for Mario Kart and it works awesome for me.
  22. Off on another tangent, I turned all my Sega CD games into Bin/Cue. You may want to explore that avenue too, as it works flawlessly and you can keep your lists nice and tidy that way.
  23. So I finally got VPinMAME up and running, and it turns out that vpauto.exe was causing my PinMAME score screen to load behind the table. I don't know why it interferes, but it does. Not sure if anything can be done, just wanted to make a note for Tom in case there's something I can do to fix the issue. If not, I can live without it. -Adultery
  24. Thanks Frequency. This will come in handy for me as well.
  25. Can't you supress the warnings? Hold on, I'll check right quick. .:EDIT:. Nah, that was NEStopia. The games probably giving you issues are not official NES games anyways (pirates, hacks, etc)... NEStopia will launch just about anything and you can supress warnings in it. I use VirtuaNES, but my games are pretty streamlined (USA ROMs only) so I never see this error. Sorry.
