  1. Looking forward to that KI theme Firebrand! I just inherited a new cab corpse from a company that allegedly burns 150+ cabs a year (not to mention a real 45s juke and a cocktail table) and is willing to give me some to keep my arcade busy and it'll be nice to put a new skin on 'er! Of course, if they discard the boards too I may just spend some time restoring... Either way, can't wait for your next creation!
  2. That and the carpal tunnel!
  3. For NeoPop and Handy, I personally have to use the SendKeys option as the fullscreen launch never worked for me before. Maybe Escape is mapped to launch FS in NeoPOP? I thought it was an F-key... Also, the advanced config for ZSNES is not for Stella. I set the rez in Stella (outside of GameEx) and don't ask GameEx to override the SW and set its own rez. Hope some of that helps!
  4. Has to be. It's a DOS window that pops up right? Then that's most certainly the problem. Still love Valhalla BTW. Great theme!!!
  5. Yes but the problem I see with that is my computer pairing with my Wiimotes every time I play in the next room. Unless you mean certain Wiimotes as opposed to *any* wiimotes that are in use... ???
  6. Yeah, about DATs for artwork... I'm positive the file hashes will be a problem on artwork since people's collections tend to vary greatly... It would be easier for me to just upload packs of snaps and movies I suppose (with the help of some GameExers who would be willing to do somw uploading)... Just haven't got much time lately with the C++ and all so I can't do it on my own.. On a lighter note... Updated the SNES DAT to 1.2 as per some suggestions from dawynn... +Removed all duplicates +Added two new dumps +Fixed Final Fantasy series and decided on keeping both translations of III (US) +Had a beer or two
  7. I can also host this over on CHQ. I have unlimited bandwidth there.
  8. I use FFDShow and my official Divx codec for Vista and I don't share these problems. Hope that's helpful!
  9. We're all a little gay aren't we? I mean, I watch Big Brother so I'm surprised my Google hasn't caught on yet!
  10. I gave up on NEStopia (after a year or so) because for whatever reason it wouldn't retain any changes I made to setup when I re-launched it. Haven't noticed a whole lot of difference between the two performance-wise. But hey, that's my preference I suppose.
  11. You shouldn't even need to do that with the SendKeys. You can tell VirtuaNES to launch ROMs in full screen through configuration. That method is a lot less sloppy if you want to future proof your install.
  12. Oh no...
  13. Ya know bkenobi, I somehow don't think that's the problem.

    Song Looping

If you spend a little editing time, I bet you can get a perfect loop that sounds fabu! Maybe I should work on that...
  15. Existing users are excluded I presume?
  16. I thought San Diego was in Florida? /end joke My cab will never be done fully (maybe closer to cosmetically), so I'll give you an update when my obituary hits the paper. If I had a similar picture, there'd be a 'J' hanging out of my mouth (still burning probably) and an ashtray overflowing with cig butts for my pillow. Nice looking rig though!
  17. Is this a problem with the menu on that particular theme? Your text is set to white and it looks like some other things have been tinkered with... You really ought to try a different theme.
  18. Well, I do for one! I always wanted a pinball machine! GameEx works in your homemade jukes too so I would think that would be acceptable.
  19. GameEx intergration works to a point, but it doesn't work for all games. I thinkj this is a Winterblast issue, since many games (if not all) from the ZN1 BIOS don't run at all without, say, Joy2Key since Winterblast doesn't work for any their key assignments. Also, who wants to set up a config on a game-by-game basis when you could just use a wrapper and get things going more or less out of the box? I'd be all for a wrapper as long as it can parse data to GameEx when it builds the MAME list. It took Nologic a while to get that going just right.
  20. I had a nice long chuckle @ this comment after I thought about whatever it was they made over there that turned into Friends over here... Coupling or some such nonsense? God that show sucks in both countries!!! But on the other hand, does Gordon Ramsay not come from there? It may not be comedy per se, but that's entertaining!!! .:EDIT:. Ohhh, and props to Essential Mixes on BBC1. That's the shiznit.
  21. The only issue I forsee with IRC is that it won't be as easy for some users to get answers to questions without asking repeatedly the same questions. Lots of users use this forum and never even have to ask for help by just searching what's already there...
  22. Nice try there, Tom! Sadly, I am all about April 1st humor and saw through this right away. Try posting a day earlier next year and you may catch me off-guard.
  23. Does this have souds and custom status boxes (IE logged In and such) with it? Do the backgrounds change throughout the day? This is cool, but my GOW theme may be just a little too cool to replace right now... Although I really love Mario.... Decisions decisions!
  24. Thanks for the feedback! It makes things easier and smoother. As I said, it's not an excat science. I will of course work on these, since double names and regional name changes were already a concern of mine from the start, and I was intending to make movie snaps of all these and compare the ones in question. As far as translations go, I used the latest NoIntro dats for NT roms (and obviously missed some language tags), and I took my hashes from whatever the most recent release of GoodTools was. I am more likely to use these hashes simply because more people tend to have the latest versions from these since they download packs via Torrents (not that I'm condoning such behavior). I have not used any game hashes that I manually patched, but I will certainly look into Der Langrisser. It's my opinion that most folks aren't going to do the patching themselves and want something more fabricated if you will, so that's why I chose the version I did. I will be working on an update none the less, and I will post it here when it's completed.
