If you're removing features that's a little more difficult than renaming them. You can find some of these in enable/disable features in the GameEx Advanced Configurator, including the extra MAME categories you listed.

You need GoodMerge for this. At least that's what my sets are but I don't know if you can use NoIntro sets for it.

Now you just need to add snaps into your videos folder so GameEx will display the snap of the gae you're playing and you're set.

You will need to go to www.gameex.com and select 'get a game tag' under the 'community' tab. Input your email addy and username. It will then send you a registry key via email for you to run on your GameEx rig. Once you do this you add the link you get to your signature and viola!

Also a pSX user and I run compressed images to save drive space. Works like a charm for me so far.

Most people here are probably members of a certain group where they just update that one file which updates their sets anyways so it shouldn't be a huge issue... Back in the old days clrmamepro was way more prevelent than it is now. However I agree with this and we should just point people to the mame executable as opposed to providing it in the setup wizard in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, I pay for XBOX Live too. My kids use it more than I do though. Most of the games I play are offline on all my systems. When I was young, multiplayer meant you had to have someone come over to play a game, and I guess I never got beyond that mentality. And hey. If you wanna be a fanboy that's cool.

The only way I can think of to try is to run it in windowed mode, and I'm not sure that would even work. GameEx might disable the stock screen saver while it's running, I'm not sure. Oh, and welcome to GameEx!

That's strange... I've never turned the Nintendo Connect24 off in the first place and never had any issues like that. Of course I keep my Wii updated (safely) and actually used BannerBomb to hack it. I also can't praise USB Loader GX enough though. I only use NeoGamma to play GameCube stuff. Loading games from the HDD is way more efficient. I still buy most of my games though, but they seem to load a lot faster from the HDD anyways. Shame it unmodded itself. I'd seriously be bummin!

I'm in the same boat as you are with your Strata Bowling cabinet. I think I'm just going to order the Happ locks and keys and see if I can't get a third lock for the rear of the cabinet (although I already have a key for that one). Three locks with one key just seems more practical to me.

Never thought to order locks directly from Happ. Good call! Wonder if I can get a new lock in the back door of the cab without too much trouble? Or maybe even green plastic (or clear even) coin acceptors? Good call. Thanks for the advice everyone!
