Can you change this: Autopause=1 To: autopause=0 In your WinKawaks config and see if it makes any difference? I haven't got it so I'm just stabbing in the dark here.

I bet I know. If your Sega 32x emulator has the following set in the command line: -genesis remove it. Do the same for Sega CD if there's anything there. It should work then (it's not really needed anyways, Kega does a good job figuring out what system you needed to run the game). On a side note: wasn't this bug addressed already?

+1 for Fusion. I have it set up as 4 different emulators (Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, and Sega CD) to keep my lists clean. If your ROM files are in GoodName format and you select 'Use Database Name' in the emulator config it will show as a nice clean game title.

He shouldn't have to explain how he does business no matter what the situation IMHO. Not that I don't appreciate his PMs mind you, he just doesn't seem to me to be shady in any way and it hurts to see that he feels the need to explain himself everytime something happens over there. The few times I've dealt with him he's gone above and beyond for me. Just one reporter's opinion.

^^I do both. One folder has them both and then seperate folders for future proofing.

Hmm... You shouldn't be having this issue. Try not pointing to snaps and pointing to videos and report back. Also try using the default theme, and please post your GameEx log/INI.

I rocked an Intel DC Wolfdale E7500. Got it from Tiger Direct for $120. Love it! Really makes my rig run smoothly. Was worth it even though it's outdated. Wouldn't have changed a thing.

My Wii surfs the 'net, emulates all my favorite consoles, streams movies and music over the network, plays Shoutcast stations, and plays Wii games. That is everything I need for home theater stuff in one very small box. Not to mention my wife allows me to keep it in the bedroom!

Ahh we wouldn't have noticed that since we have consoles that handle that task and I don't have Netflix working on my cab yet.

It's a small issue but I thought I would report it anyway: When GameEx comes back from attract mode and I select any menu item, it goes to a blank MAME game screen. If I back out and select the item again, it behaves as it should.

The GameEx ini file is most likely in C:/Gameex/

One of the many reasons I prefer Firefox. My wife just made the switch to IE 9 and she's been doing a lot more complaining than praising, that's for sure! I have noticed a considerable slowdown on her netbook though.

Just to clarify, the codecs do not come installed with GameEx. Uninstall FFDShow and go get Shark007's Vista Codec Pack instead.

Hmm, you sure it's not a codec issue? Are your videos named the same as your ROM set?

Ahh Alpha, it pains me that I can't help you with this, but I use pSX and I keep my ISOs on an external HDD. Sorry.

I don't know if I would say 'fanboy' but I've used nVidia cards, PNY cards, and ATI cards. Performance wise it's hard to touch ATI. My Sapphire has been absolutely mind blowing to me ever since I installed it in my rig. I can't say I've ever been this pleased with any nVidia product. Just to add, I've never had a faulty ATI card come through my shop. NVidia on the other hand... I don't wanna put anyone on blast, but all five of our computers at my house except my laptop are all ATI products. But to each their own.

I have but I started without any artwork. The software creates a miss.txt list. Maybe copy your artwork into the folder it's downloading to and check the only missing box and see if it scans your sets properly. The folder hiarchy has to be the exact same as the downloader uses for this feature to work: Download utility/system/artwork folders (box, snap, advert, etc).

So this is the correct path: MAME Path is: C:\mame
