So this is happening when selecting a theme from the theme picker? Did you try switching themes using Advanced Config? (Sorry if this was covered already, I'm trying to duplicate the error).

Interesting. I actually built my snap collection after I put GameEx together so I didn't know this wasn't possible. As far as stretching goes, as I recall GameEx is kinda picky with image sizing. When I made my first theme it was a lot of trial and error to get the box to display my images just the way I wanted them. The problem is likely more in the image box than the way GameEx renders it. Admittedly it's been quite a while since I did any themeing so someone more experienced in this area may want to take this one.

Can't you just change the size of the image box in the theme editor for that particular emulator?

You should be able to make GameEx take over once ESC is pressed in advanced config. Set MAP KEYS to YES.

It's not currently possible and I don't think it will be possible unless the emulator itself supports overlays.

For the record the crashing in windowed mode was resolved (at least for me) in the most recent version.

Well I am always willing to help where I can, as I'm sure are many others here. I've never written a script either, so I know what you mean. Although sometimes a little glitz is the way to go, and IMHO a rotating monitor would be a pretty rad achivement. Good luck friend!

I use only hi rez art for my marquees unless I want it to be pixeled. Don't know about gimp but photoshop does a good job of scaling and I make my psd canvas actual size and go from there. I also prefer 600 DPI over 300.
