Mmm! On board! Sega cancelled the remake project according to this months's Game Informer. I was bummed until I saw this thread! On a side note, my long awaited River City Ransom remake will be dropping on PSN and XBLA this summer (and PC this winter so it will make the cab for sure!).

Ahh I see. Well the reason for this is due to the speed increase on startup. As mesk said, GameEx doesn't load all databases initially anymore. Instead it waits until you select an emulator (other than MAME) and then loads your databases for your other emulators.

It really shouldn't be taking long to do this after the first time. Mine runs through the loading databases screen in a couple seconds, and only does it once per GameEx launch, not once per selection.

Tom's right. GameEx will select the appropriate version based on your rig's config, as long as both exe's are in your Model 2 folder.

Are you using custom lists?

You could even go a bit cheaper and get a fightstick by Hori. Those guys make some quality stuff!

And to add to what Draco said, if that paint chips due to heated use and gets down in there, you're really hosed!

The short answer is no. The DMD positioning is coded into the table script. The long answer is yes, if you know how to alter the VBS for that table to suit your layout. You would also need to remove the DMD entry in the registry each time you make any sort of change. But be advised it's not as easy as it sounds. I tried doing this when I was trying to set a vertical table to use a horizontal layout instead.

Running: cmd.exe /c C: C:\Emulators\MAME\mame.exe 005 -rompath C:\Emulators\MAME\roms -nowindow -joy -skip_gameinfo -bezel -artwork_directory artworkgameex And just for argument's sake, the next entry is different for some reason: Running: cmd.exe /c C: mame.exe 005 -rompath "C:\Roms\MAME\Roms" I would start by making sure your MAME path is correct, and maybe post your MAME INI so we can have a look at that too. It definitely shouldn't be doing that. GameEx doesn't switch command lines for me like that... Something screwy here for sure.

I doubt there's micro switches in that stick. You can paint them and be fine if you use model car paint and use a nice clear coat. Don't know if I would go that route though, since you'll be adding more problems than you'd be avoiding. Just my opinion.

Ahh I use MESS for this so I haven't noticed it. I can also say that this issue has not come up before. Not sure anyone here is using OpenGL though, and that's when it's needed for your ATI card. I assume you're using DirectDraw instead.
