  1. You do fine work as always! Funny thing that life... LOL!
  2. Nope you nailed it! Now sticky it!
  3. It's automated for sure, I'm sure all the SW does is look at the specified XML and populate the values. It may even go by line count, in which case the language it's in is irrelevant.
  4. Nice! I'll be working and writing a 5-page pape on overpopulation in Asian countries.
  5. Freq is right... It's gotta work through CL since that's what GameEx will be using.
  6. You mean my cabinet? Happy v-day everyone!
  7. The real bummer wiuld be lack of DB's IMHO.
  8. You probably have it set to initialize an use all joysticks instead of selecting the specific one you use. I think it's under "Input Seettings". There should be one setting to select it instead of "all attached devices".
  9. Yup, I went there. Thanks Tosh.0 for this gem. The following is not work or kid friendly (but then again, is anything I put up?). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2hD-FtghVY
  10. Why wouldn't you be able to keep your high scores? If you set up the same EXE with different emulators, wouldn't it still use the same support files?
  11. Thanks Tom.
  12. Ohhh you talking about the nav bar? Can't you just set the location off screen in Theme Editor?
  13. Can you tell me what version of DirectX you're on? http://www.directxupdate.com/
  14. Ohhhh my! Now that would look nice... The Ghost In The Machine example cab was a real sexy looking machine!
  15. You can make the 1 key a global escape key... Or remap the key you use to escape that emulator with an advanced config.. The global escape is probably the easiest. Just turn mapping on for that emulator and then set the hook to your 1 key under 'Input Setting' in Setup Wizard.
  16. Ohh good tip Celly! (I can't believe it's even t-molding.com and I didn't think to look there! LOL!) I was thinking red on the Mario side, green on the Luigi side, and black textured in the center... I do appreciate the offer though! Great prices!!! It's only around 50c or less a foot, and all'd have to do is replace t-molding so it ought to be a quick upgrade. Does it glow under a blacklight?
  17. Where do you guys get your t-moulding? Ive been thinking about replacing mine to better suit my overall theme.
  18. 14:51:37.9 2/11/2011: at Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Device..ctor (Int32 adapter, DeviceType deviceType, Control renderWindow, CreateFlags behaviorFlags, PresentParameters[] presentationParameters) So... You want the good news or the bad news? Since you were here last, we've upgraded GameEx's rendering system to Direct3D. It appears your video card is either too old, or the drivers are unable to handle the load. The first place I would start is looking on your video card manufacurer's web site for an updated driver. I would be happy to help you check for one, but I'll need to see your whole log file as opposed to just the snippet you provided here.
  19. Again, all the stuff on GamesDB is the stuff on EmuMovies (they're partnered). You can use the downloader in GameEx to do exactly what you're doing and get exactly the same artwork.
  20. Unfortunately we lost this functionality in the forum update. Am I the only one that Facebook tags stuff? LOL!
  21. Just out of curiosity, why would you be downloading assets from GamesDB? You can get most of that stuff free from EmuMovies, and they share the content.
  22. Couldn't you just make an escape combo in GameEx to universally exit any emulator? It's a setting in Input Settings, "Gloal Escape" I think it's called.
  23. I remember this was missing before but I thought it was addressed already? It's not anywhere if you search "ambience" in the Setup Wiz?
  24. I researched this some and it could be a problem with either your MAP file (if you're using one), the emulator crashing instead of closing, or anti-virus software getting in the way. Do any of these three things apply to this emulator for you? To be honest I'm leaning towards a MAP file, but AV software would be a good place to start. And of course, you should put your full LOG since I can't see if this crash occured in thefirst time you ran a game, the command line it used, your path settings, etc.
