Ive had nothing but good luck with 3rd pay support on Amazon, so far. Sorry to hear your experience wasn't so great... I usually don't turn to Amazon for such things unless NewEgg absolutely had no alternatives or was indefinitely out of stock on the item I needed.

I have a spot on my theme for RSS too... most do but you need to approach that a bit differently. You need to go in and directly edit the theme via Theme Wizard. I hooked this one into MAME's page so the scores scroll on the game select screens. Lots of ways you can use the feed.

So for your earlier feature request Draco, I went ahead and added the RSS Feed Editor to the Database Manager. If anyone would like to plug the feed into GameEx's already available RSS Reader, here's the URL: http://gameinfo.hfc-essentials.com/hiscore/HiScore.rss All that needs to be done to update this is to hit the UPDATE FEED button when the database is updated. Those fortunate enough to have access upload the new RSS feed in a few seconds (everything is generated in code). Now everyone can see the score table no matter what they're using. I hope people find it useful. Enjoy!

I had the same gap, I just made a custom bezel and took it to the sign shop. You have piqued my interest though... I thought about adding a 3rd USB powered monitor and maybe creating a separate plugin just for screens like this, that display one static full screen image (album art for the jukebox, a custom image for in-game... In my case I'd probably use it for a title screen, I could see someone using it for controls or instruction cards, etc)... Maybe a scrolling message over the top edge (like NOW PLAYING: SUPER MARIO WORLD or something, IDK)... Something interesting may happen if I can scare up the $100 for the one I've been looking at. Anyhow, yeah... 800x600 is just fine. You shouldn't have any issues with width since the labels scale to the screen width. You have a fixed height on the banner though at 175px (maybe it's 200, I Can't remember off the top of my head). It's really something I'd like to create a customized solution for, but Game Info will look just fine on it I wager. Either way, let me know how you get on.

I'm pretty sure you used to be able to skip this without a compiled version back in the day with a command-line switch. I went to a compiled version after this changed. You really need to consider compiling your own... It only takes a little effort using Headkaze's MAME Compiler. It does everything for you. If you were indeed using an old version of MAME, you may have to re-enable Direct Input also since the MAME team went to RAW instead.
