  1. I'll take a look at it. Hang tight.
  2. Where can I get a dmd? Man would I love to try programming something for games that don't actually tap into it... Lots of cool ways one could utilize a real dmd... pincab or arcade cab. Man the things I could buy if I had money! That pincab is absolutely astonishing! I don't know what else I can say about it. Just breathtaking!
  3. Change the Rom filter to the file extension inside the 7z you use (I think it's .pce?)
  4. I'm pretty sure the genesis one is doing the same in a different spot. I'll let you know where when I get back home.
  5. You might have permission issues if you install that way... Possible that you need to have the exe files run as administrator. It's in root on purpose by default to avoid this.
  6. Updated to 1.0.7: Fixed a bug in the command line processing introduced in the PlugIn version upgrade. Download it from the download portal.
  7. Virtual Drive Loader updated to 1.0.7: Fixes a bug in the command line processing that was introduced with the new PlugIn version. Download it here: http://www.gameex.info/forums/files/file/15-virtual-drive-loader/

  8. Great to hear! It was a hiccup in the new plugin system I overlooked when I updated the plugin. I just wanted to say thanks for all your help, XtC. You have been a real asset to my development. New version coming when I get home tonight.
  9. @sentinelba: Please make sure you put a space before the argument, like so: ePSXe.exe -nogui [DTLOADER-SCSI]
  10. Please try the attached and let me know if it works for you.
  11. I'll look at this right now. Stay tuned.
  12. I might be wrong but I think he was saying it was a specific game and the rest were showing up ok. But it may have been a misunderstanding on my part. If so that seems to suggest a problem with the audit of that particular rom. I was going to suggest adding it to the do not filter list if that didn't work.
  13. Please God in heaven, don't let that be a segue to a Monkees song....
  14. Well it means your games aren't verified for that build of mame, so some games may not function as expected if at all. If they work though, you're all good.
  15. What happens if you turn the verify ROMs option off and update your game list? Can you see anything at all?
  16. Yeah I'm still having problems too, lots of my descriptions are missing for some reason that were there previously. In addition, lots of my roms say (USA) even though I'm using a map file and have text in brackets turned off. Maybe the db reader is crashing on a field and leaving the rest of the games past the crash empty? Like for example my SNES games show descriptions down to about the letter C and then nothing. If it was supposed to use the mdb files as backup it's not. I kinda feel like an error is happening and then it's just moving to the next emu. Idk. I would have said something sooner, just thought it was something I should fully investigate first... So when I saw this I thought it might be related somehow.
  17. Side note: You can pay with PayPal using a credit card too, no need to do it with Google Wallet.
  18. Did you configure Model2 to run at that aspect outside of GameEx?
  19. Just overwrite the bezel in the GameEx/Media folder (bezel.png) with the new one. All you should need is to just overwrite that, the support files aren't necessary.
  20. Nice work, KRC!
  21. I only recently ported this to PinballX. Let me know if it works OK for you.
  22. BTW, if you use FRAPS it doesn't do a very good job with GameEx (I think it's because of the Direct3D or something... It never played nice for me when I was trying to make videos of my plugins). If you want to make videos of GameEx, you might want to look into Camtasia.
  23. I'm sure it is related to how I parse the dat file. I'll take a look at it.
  24. That's a serious bug there. Did you include the dat in the downloads? Can you give me a step by step on how you made it crash like that? Never seen anything like that before. I'm not near my laptop so I will look into this when I get home tonight, just please make sure you posted the log and the dat so I can try and reproduce this.
  25. I would like to echo my friend Null's post up there. He pretty much nailed it better than I could have. I know the feeling... I was doubtful until I had my first sip of Summer Shandy at a crawdad boil poolside on a hot July 4th weekend. Good times. I wasn't trying to be a dick. I'm sorry. Fast forward is more or less a frame skip thing, where rewind is more like playing the frames in reverse from a buffer.
