  1. I gave 4 cents so far ... how's that for "change" you can believe in? I am sure we will have enough to warrant pinning at some point. We have quite a few that are motivated in learning about Sketchup, .x conversions, etc.
  2. Since we have the sub-forums now, pinning this would work since it is one of the projects that goes hand-in-hand with the work HK and Tom have done to add the 3-D models functionality to GameEx. Again, my two cents as usual..
  3. Tom - While this topic would likely fit under one of the other threads, I think that it has sufficient uniqueness & focus to warrant being pinned so that we do not lose this in the normal forum posts. The work that HK has done is fantastic to get this going and we could probably merge the .X files thread into this one as there are some good contributions in that thread as well. Just my two cents... Mike
  4. Glad to have been able to help. I hope that you are able to use the images as some are very good. I am sure as more explore the 3D Warehouse and other stores that we will find some more 3D treasures!
  5. Aye, Captain - fire at Will!
  6. I have completed the list revisions, taking out duplicates, pinball machines, cab mockups, bill changer, etc. I have also removed any items not in the MAWS 0139U3 ROMs list. Gozer-vs-MAWS.txt maws0139u3.txt
  7. OK, I have uploaded a more complete list (again, open in Excel tab delimited) for the Gozer vs MAWS list. I have also included a copy of the MAWS (MAME) 0139.u3 list. I am sure that I could probably open every skp file I don't have a mame name listed (and I may do so later if I have time). If someone would like to take it from here, that is fine as well. I am currently going through those that I identified and cleaning up the list a bit, as some are just cab mock-ups and others are not cabs altogether. Additionally, where there is apparent duplication, I am selecting what I feel to be the best looking cabs (there isn't much but in a few places there are wood vs painted cabs where the painted cabs look more authentic). I will upload the completed list shortly.
  8. OK, I got to the start of G - there are quite a few blanks as the name did not easily match the list on MAWS and some I know are variants of the same game. Open in Excel as tab delimited. Gozer-vs-MAWS.txt
  9. I am working on A-D right now (what I can before turning in for the night). If someone would like to pick up after that...
  10. I liked it when he was the antagonist in DK Jr. Just appeals to my dark side, I guess.
  11. I converted the Star Wars Cockpit using the plugin HK provided. I'm not too sure how to correct as one of the panels is missing and other details inside the cockpit did not make the conversion correctly. I have provided a copy of my attempt along with the original Sketchup which looks great in the mviewer. swcockpit.zip
  12. The 3-D Warehouse Arcade Cabs collection by Gozer contains some excellent work as well!
  13. I can't claim to be "grown up." I like my "toys" too much to do so! One day I hope to add an arcade machine to my home. I enjoy playing on the PC and also my Xbox (Original and 360), and would probably enjoy an HTPC setup on the big screen. There is just no substitute for mashin' buttons and slammin' the joystick around on a game cab. Now if I could just get the kids to move out *again* before I am forced to eat cat food on an SS income...
  14. Mine are grown-up, too. Or at least they are at an age where they are held legally accountable for their actions.. grown up, maturity, well, that's a whole different thing, eh?
  15. Before upgrading to Win 7 Pro 64-bit, I was running GameEx quite well on Vista Home 32-bit. Are you getting a disclaimer/warning screen before running the bad ROM? I have had GameEx and MAME both choke on bad ROMs before. Not much you can do other than not play them.
  16. Rock legends KISS will be broadcasting a LIVE webcast of their final stop from the 2010 â??Hottest Show on Earthâ? tour at the KROQ Epicenter Twenty Ten Festival on Saturday, September 25th at 8:30PM PT / 11:30PM ET here on ustream. Also will be available for those on Facebook who play the Nightclub City game.
  17. I always thought you put the "fReAk" in fRequEnCy! Now I know for sure!
  18. I have pointed a few misguided souls to your signature link - good stuff there, Freq (I can call you Freq, right?)!
  19. Thanks, Tom! So far all's well here after upgrade!
  20. 1. One option would be (provided you are not using the Favorites feature) would be to add all of your vertical games to Favorites, then select Yes for Play Only Favorites. 2. Do you have GameEx configured to display Full Screen? I have seen similar po0sts but not certain how this was resolved.
  21. You may want to look here as this may be of help to you.
  22. How did you resolve the problem?
  23. Here are some others that should adapt well to joy stick use... the graphics are quiote a bit dated (RGB) but classic id titles: Commander Keen - Invasion of the Vorticons: Episode 1: Marooned on Mars, Episode 2: The Earth Explodes, Episode 3: Keen Must Die! Commander Keen in Goodbye Galaxy!: Episode 4: Secret of the Oracle, Episode 5: The Armageddon Machine Wolfenstein - Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of Destiny, Return to Castle Wolfenstein Heretic / HeXen - HeXen: Beyond Heretic, HeXen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel, Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders, HeXen II These are offered for sale through Steam and appear to have DosBox setup as a preloader. vbjin help

Since it is running on the Mednafen core, I would probably try whatever command line works for Mednafen first.
