  1. That is odd to say the least. I was able to find the files in mine to select. Any ideas as to why this may be happening?
  2. Have you tried the Default-Default theme and are you getting the same results with that theme? If the answer is yes, it is not the theme. Ensure that you have the emulator installed for the system you are using and that you select the Logo in the Emulator Setup section of the Setup Wizard (there is a drop-down that points to the LOGO directory). Keep in mind that logo file that are provided in the User Created themes are usually based upon that person's need, creativity, etc. You are not bound to use them and can create your own - that's what makes this program so great!
  3. I would be happy to make one of your cabs playable again... but it wouldn't be of much use to there with it working here in Florida!
  4. I also found that the grid view with video snaps slowed my machine down a little (Win 7 on Intel Quad Core with 8GB Ram, GeForce 8800GT) when paging between, on top of video snap running in a larger window on the page. That is one reason why I opted to use the text list with the new theme.
  5. I like using the 360 controller as well and I would be interested.
  6. Thanks! As for the video mosaic, not so sure how you would go about that. If you have video snaps of your games, you can change the view in GameEx until it shows them in a grid view (much like your theme was setup with the still images). It does require a bit of processing speed so I wouldn't recommend it on a PC at the minimum level requirements. Also, that view would be present for all screens, not just SNES. If I am wrong, someone correct me, please.
  7. Another enhancement request - Be able to add/associate pictures to Internet Radio stations.
  8. Can we add this as an enhancement request for radio then?
  9. Here are some more replacement icons for the Carbon & Steel theme.
  10. EDIT .:. Here are some additional icons/logos for the Carbon & Steel theme I have created and thanks to Celly for his additions!
  11. I took a look at them and they are pretty good!
  12. Can anyone tell me where to look or how to link the news feed images to the URL so that a site graphic displays whenever a link is selected? Also, is it possible to do the same with the internet radio links? Any help will be most appreciated!
  13. Thanks for sharing - hope to put it to use soon. The theme is done and uploaded so give it a go and let me know what ya think. I haven't used ScummVM before so may hit ya up for some tips.
  14. OK, I have finished my "Carbon & Steel" theme. Give it a go!
  15. For anyone that may want to create foreground images to correspond to background images for emus, etc., make sure the filename is the same as the background image with _foreground added to the file name (i.e., startback.png is the start page background file, while startbak_foreground is the foreground file). This allows for making a uniform background file with images in the foreground - great for creating frame images that are in the foreground and masking the borders of the images and video snaps.

    Shh!

I have a hard enough time keeping my 20-sumpin's from using and losing my tools!
  17. I am interested! BTW, check out snaps from my latest themes in the user submitted themes thread and tell me what ya think!
  18. I am almost finished with my latest theme "Carbon & Steel." It is in a widscreen 1680x1050 format. I decided to go with something a little more unified, simple, and crisp. I've gone for carbon fiber for the background with banner and frames having a steel appearance in foreground files. Most icons have been done using a "steel plate" upon which the game system logos have an embossed appearance, while others are from some icon sets I found using steel with black inlays. I have attached a few sample images - please take a look and tell me what you think. I hope to have everythng cleaned-up and ready to upload by the weekend.
  19. Can you tell us what brand/model light guns you are using? Are you using an interface other than USB connected to yoru light guns? Also, since you are trying to use them through a 64-bit program, have you checked to see if the manufacturer has a 64-bit driver?

    Shh!

Any time you are ready, just drop a line in one of the forum threads and I will likely see it.

    Shh!

I've been working on a new theme. Since it isn't a variation on a previous theme created it is taking some time to get things set the way I want them to be. Learning new editing tricks and effects with GIMP (Thanks to Drakendoder) which has me going back and cleaning/re-doing a few screens. Experimenting with foreground images. I have put some emu screen examples in the User Submitted themes thread (please provide feeback!) and, since this is a WIP all are subject to change. Someone mentioned the Dark Side... can I join? What Jedi powers are required? Can we do the chokie-thingy? "That is not the frontend you have been looking for..."
  22. Thanks for the tip - will try it out! I don't care for the white outline either. Also have it on the Pac Man character. These are mock-ups and not final product. Ultimately doing it all for myself (as we all do) but wanted some feedback. The top banners and character graphics on the lower-left are forground images and I am using the carbon-fiber (and eventually some other elements) as the background. .:. EDIT - I found a tutorial for the complete steps for those using GIMP located here.

When you click on a game, you should have options to Play This Game, Marquee, Flyer, Cabinet, Title, View Controls, and Add To Favorites - hope this is of help!
  25. Hey Celly, Not sure if you got an answer to your question, but if you click on the "Change View" a few times, you can cycle through having a video snap in the background, still snap view, Text List, and video snap view. Hope that helps!
