  1. A few more quick creations... and NOW there is a kitchen sink!
  2. It's in LOGO PACK#2... look again!
  3. Thanks! Review the logos in thumbnail view and you will find the logos for Boxee, Pandora Radio, Handheld Simulators, Nebula, and WinKawaks. I will consider the others as time permits. In the meantime, here is your PC!
  4. Filed under _Logo__Pandora.png ... and since you are not going anywhere, try these on for size!
  5. They do look sweet on your display! I did do good! LOL! I will see what I can knock up for Rhapsody and Beats of Rage. May be a few days as I am working on details for another theme at the moment [queue Rocky the Flying Squirrel in 3... 2.. 1... "Not AGAAAIIIIN!"] as well as playing house hubby while posting the resume online, etc.
  6. There should be one for Windows Games (_PC__GFW.png) with the Games for Windows logo, and 1 each for Visual Pinball (_Pinball__Visual_Pinball.png) & Future Pinball (_Pinball__Future_Pinball.png) included in LOGO PACK #3. Would love to see some pics as they appear on the screen!
  7. The problem is that minwah had modified the MAME source file. If there was a copy of a current source file with his mods, likely could compile that with the hi-score diff files to possibly make hi scores work with it. Since it does not appear that there is anything current to work with, I don't see much happening with your request. I noticed you have been at this for some time on the otther forums. Did you ever obtain a copy of the MAME 0.125 Source file and try compiling it with minwah's shiftermame diff file?
  8. That was the odd thing, Massop did not insert spaces. Not sure how they got there.
  9. Do you have another PC with enough storage space to backup your current setup? I ask as there is the Easy Transfer utility that I used that allowed me to upgrade from Vista 32-bit Home to Windows 7 64-bit and backup whatever I needed to to a drive on another PC. It allows you to save most settings and accounts as well, however, you will likely have to reinstall a few things as some will require the 64-bit version on a 64-bit OS (Shark 007 codecs comes to mind here for one).
  10. Do you have Karaoke Play Mode set to "Clicking Song Queues Them" or "1 Click To Play Any Song?" I also noted in the video the user is apparently using a custom menu setup - not sure that this would have an impact on the app. Either way, you may still have to click - would be interesting to find out from the user that created the video how they set it up. Have you attempted to contact him through YouTube?
  11. Karaoke is a registered version feature as shown here. You can purchase a registered version (no nag screen and enhanced features - go here for purchase information. Setup for the Karaoke feature is pretty simple - if you have the files supported, you merely access the Karoake section of the configuration, set the path to your karaoke files and the behavior of clicking to queue or play the file. If you are looking for a good frontend that allows you to play games through some of the best emulators, HTPC integration with Windows Media Center, watch videos, or, Karaoke, and support forums and members second to none, then I heartily recommend paying for a registered copy!
  12. Maybe PM him? He still frequents the forum although I have not seen any recent posts. I am sure if he has completed the theme he will be quite willing to share with the community!
  13. Maybe I am not reading what you are saying correctly. Have you looked at the Custom Menus application that downloads with GameEx? You can do exactly what you are suggesting: MAME MESS Etc. You can even subdivide that just a little further by emulated system within the emulator menu item. Take a look at the app and give it a try!
  14. @Hunk_4TH - I found an old post on Emuforums.com regarding the issue (check it out here). Unless the latest incarnation of NullDC has remedied the issue, you should be able to save the game, exit, then load the last save game and the next disc. Apparently this is how it was with the actual game on the console.
  15. Logo Pack # 3 is here! Please remember that you may need to rename a few files and I have noticed a few omissions (Most.png is one, I just made a copy of Mameall.png and renamed it.

    Noob Question

LOL! That's a first! I have never, EVER been accused of being fast at anything!
  17. Logo Pack # 1 is a comprehensive set that I completed a few months ago in a different style. Logo Pack # 2 is the one I sent up yesterday with the system images. Logo Pack # 3 will be the companion to #2. Sorry for the confusion.

    Noob Question

You may be right if you are encountering in both MAME and GameEx. Have you had the BSOD occur with any other programs? Recently updated any drivers (Sound, display, etc.)? Unless you are aware of any specific PC issues, you may want to try installing the latest display and sound drivers for your system.

    Noob Question

Per the site "is a port of the MAMEâ?¢ and MESS emulators for Arcade Monitors and TVs but also for normal PC Monitors." Not usre I would use it since it does not seem to be quite so up-to-date as normal MAME. I would probably disable this in the configuration settings.

    Noob Question

The gameex.ini file is located under c:\gameex\data (or may be under c:\program files\gameex\data. Looks like you provided a Mame config file.
  21. I must warn everyone that the naming is not exactly GameEx-standard so you will have to rename a few of the logos to load properly. I have sent the next pack to Tom and will let you know when it is available for download. It is 40MB+ so will take a few minutes to download. Otherwise, my work here is done.. for the moment!
  22. Members Only is so 1980s. My taste in games may be retro but not clothing! Now where did I sit that bottle of tiger blood...
  23. I admit it - I drank the Kool-Aid. Now if I can just find me a nice pair of Raybans and some cheap Hawaiian shirts, I will be ready to book my flight to Central America and start a GameEx cult!
  24. Hey, Ian.... your game is showing!
  25. I was initially looking at just running MAME when I got started for the old arcade games. I was OK with the GUI version but it seemed lacking, especially when I got turned on to the idea of possibly building an arcade cab. So I started looking at frontends. I chanced upon GameEx while looking at several others. What hooked me, besides the ease of integration with HTPC and arcade systems and a slew of emulators, was the amount of active support from the author down to the users in the forum. You should definitely give it a try especially if you are running multiple emulators.
