OK, have to agree that two is the least straining. Here are 3 more variations for your opinion - I have removed the background hex pattern layer that was in variations on the previous that seemed to be causing a bit of eye strain and replaced with white, black, or grey.

I am testing a new effect (three variations) for a possible theme and would like your feedback on which you like better or if at all - thanks! I am leaning towards the 3rd one myself.

Always a good idea to backup but generally not a problem to upgrade.

Dan - can you please upgrade to the latest version of GameEx and report back as to whether this resolves your issue or still a problem? Your log file shows you have 11.69 installed. There were some issues occurring with Theme Editor that have been resolved in recent installments. Current version is 11.84.

If by rectifying the issue, you mean to supply you with the ROMs, we do not do that nor ask that in these forums (If i am correct in that assumption, consider this a warning). I think you know what you must do to rectify that issue on your own!

Unusual and damning as her behavior was after her child was missing and even during the trial, it isn't enough to convict someone. When you think about it, anyone willfully committing a crime of violence is not behaving in a normal manor. I expect no less in other aspects of their life. But that alone is not enough to erase reasonable doubt. Circumstantial evidence requires clear proof of intent. It wasn't there and doubt prevailed.

I selected the H264 option along with mp4. I then downloaded ffpmepg when prompted during the conversion process. I extracted ffmpeg to its own folder (c:\ffmpeg) along with the supporting files and folders. I selected the H264 option. Also I browsed to the ffmpeg folder and clicked on ffmpeg.exe then OK. That is about it, my file converted from avi to mp4 with full sound.

Dan - you will need to modify the theme using the Theme Editor. To remove an item (in this case of the text at the bottom of your image Select 1 and Select 2), you can click on it within the display (the outline will turn red) - then look on the lower right. You should see an "eye" button under the Properties section of the theme editor. If you click this it should disable the text from displaying (you will see the text for Select 1/2 disappear). You can follow the same steps to "remove" the Home button from view as well. Once finished, click the Save icon. Let me know if this works for you or if you have any further questions.

In some ways I am glad she didn't get convicted. Not to say I don't think she is guilty because I believe she is. Just that the prosecution did not have the evidence to clearly connect her to the child's death. I would rather this happen than see someone innocent convicted under similar evidence circumstances. There have been too many convicted wrongly for less evidence.

To obtain a copy of your emulator config files (in this case, Stella) go into Setup Wizard, select Custom, then select Emulator Setup. Highlight Stella in the column on the left, then click the export icon in the middle. This will generate a copy of your Stella config file. Your log file is generated by GameEx and can be found under the \GameEx\Log path.

You're welcome - also, placed your custommenu.ini in spoiler. To do so, simply place the word spoiler between [ and ] at the beginning of the text to "be spoiled" and end with /spoiler between [ and ] at the end.

I downloaded the file. Made my first avi to mp4 conversion and this was successful. The only pain was having to search for ffmpeg.exe on the web, but once that was done, it was perfect. BTW, if anyone needs it it can be found on Sourceforge.net.

I know you are requesting Hunk's files but thought I would test mine as well. When I am using Custom Menus - launching in 4.4 seconds: When I am using default menus - launching in 4.4 seconds. Also attaching a copy of my custommenu.ini and gameex.ini files as a point of comparison with Hunk's. CustomMenu-GameEx.zip

Will you be pointing to the 32-bit only? Or will there be an option to select the 32-bit or 64-bit versions?

Now you are following my leader! This feature would be GameEx-specific and track Mame hi scores for games launched via GameEx!

But command line would be stored where....? Would that not be in the Mame setup within GameEx.ini? If setup, I would imagine that it would be limited to games launched through GameEx and not Mame command-line or GUI.

+1 from me as well! Have to agree with Ian about cheaters - you can't stop them. Overall scores will average out. Perhaps it could refresh every month, quarter, or year so a new leaderboard is established. I wonder if it would be possible to read the mame.ini to determine if cheats are enabled and flag those scores to a separate "Wall of Shame" from the legitimate leaderboard?

About them gas prices... What many don't realize is that the majority of the price we spend per gallon is taxes (local, state, federal, etc). Stations make little profit per gallon and gasoline sales are really a "loss leader" anymore to get you into the store and grab a pack of Lucky's and a Slim Jim to go with that Coke and zazzleberry Slurpee!

Check your theme to see if the text color is showing changed and, if so, change it and resave it. Otherwise, check the settings in Setup Wizard.

I noticed an immediate increase in response time when starting GameEx. Appears that system logos are loading a tad faster as well.
