  1. Once you've toyed with the psd / xcf a bit, I've really taken a lot of the guess work out of creating new foreground images specific to the emu or console/handheld that you may require!
  2. Thanks, Null! Really feeling the love around here (and not in Adultery's fondling sense)!
  3. That is what I am thinking is that it will not allow it to be overwritten. I can't say I had that problem ever with the Advanced Config app. Not saying, mind you, that I want to go back to it - I am liking the Setup Wizard more and more as I become accustom to it.
  4. Not at this time. You can use the psd or xcf file provided and add your own image to appear in the orb, select the color for its background, etc. It will require that you have GIMP (for using the xcf fille) or Photoshop (for the psd file).
  5. Using version 2.3.1 which installed with 11.79. Reinstalled GameEx from download and still same issue. I do not appear to be having the issue so long as I use Setup Wizard outside of GameEx. If I make the change via GameEx loaded, it does not appear to save the changes if I add something or delete something.
  6. @evenstewy - glad you were able to get this issue resolved. Upon reading the full thread, I am wondering if there might not have been a conflict with the video card driver and the ipac.
  7. I use Custom Menus so that is where it is in my system. The same issue occurs for me with normal menus (custom menus disabled) so I know it isn't an issue with Custom Menu support. Just went into Setup Wizard via GameEx to delete the HTML app and, it appeared that it was deleted, but when I went back to GameEx, it was still there and functional. Bottom line, it is not saving changes I am making. I wonder if it may be a permissions issue for the app? I tried inside and outside of GameEx and still get the same results when trying to add or delete. Tried setting it to run as admin, not sure what the issue is. Going to try downloading and reinstalling GameEx after deleting the Setup Wizard files to see if this remedies the issue.
  8. They are gone for me (unless I edit the gameex.ini file manually). Not sure what is going on with it.
  9. LOL! Nothing I probably haven't posted before I got me stick!
  10. Just a few quick requests to all - please try to look through the threads (especially after a new version is released) to see if someone else has already reported the same or similar issue and post your response in that thread. The exception would be if the thread has been dead for a few months or years - this is where common sense should tell you it is likely a new issue! Also, if you resolve your issue using the advice given to you for your issue or find another workaround that fixes it, please post a response in the thread you started. This gives back to the community valuable information for fixing the issue going forward and program enhancements from Tom and/or Ben that may prevent it from happening again. And, as always, please refer to the How to Ask for Help for the information we may need to provide prompt and courteous assistance!
  11. @GBBS - have you been able to resolve this issue or is there something that we may assist you with regarding the latest version?
  12. Not sure how to proceed with this one to be honest. Rescue on Fractalus (the hack version is known as Behind Jaggi Lines for the 8-bit Atari systems) was a great game and I spent many hours playing and being eaten by the alien pretending to be a stranded astronaut!
  13. Ben, pretty basic actually. Here they are: - Select Custom, next - Select HTML Applications, next - Select HTML App #3, Change Enabled to Yes, enter url http://www.pandora.com/#/, type name Pandora, select Logo file, next - Verify, next - Exit Load GameEx, click on Pandora under my Multimedia section, no response. I check the GameEx.ini file and there is nothing saved for HTML App# 3. I manually enter the info and save the change, it is there and appears in GameEx on the next load.
  14. It appears that the Setup Wizard is not saving newly added items. I am updated to 11.79 and was attempting to add some HTML applications via the Setup Wizard. Everything seemed to be working correctly even up through the Verification, but as soon as I exit and reload GameEx, the newly added HTML app will not launch because the information I had just entered is wiped as soon as I close the Setup Wizard. This also happened when adding an External app. Attached is a copy of the gameex.ini file,. Not sure this is going to shed any light however as it will only reflect what is there, not what is not being saved. GameExini.txt
  15. I am wondering if when he is referencing the word "digital" that he means it is looking for a numerical input - not digital in the signal sense of the word.
  16. There is a Template mdb file that you can use for this. Tedium will be the word no matter what you do but entering the data in an Access database file is not difficult, just time consuming.
  17. Never hurts to put in a feature request! Pandora, IMO, is more of a pain in the arse than the rest to setup outside of GameEx. This could be due to their extensive use of Adobe Flash/Air.
  18. OK, Mike, you are starting to scare me.... besides, who am I to fondle and tell? Thanks!!!
  19. None of that hookers and booze talk, buddy! You are a married man now! It was a good day!
  20. Marking as resolved as Color Key disabled added to Theme Editor for V4 themes.
  21. I got my start with a VIC 20, then "graduated" to an Atari 800XL. Everyone knows that Atari 8-bit PCs rule, AlphaUMi! At least it did until Commodore CEO Jack Trammiel stepped down and took the reins of Atari and sold it off bit by bit. Surprisingly, they were very similar machines using the 6202 MOS found in the C64 and NES as well. The primary differences were the graphics and sound chips..
  22. We'll mark this issue as resolved then! Glad you got it figured out!
  23. Hi Jon - if you have another compatible GPU to install in place of the Trident I would recommend that. While I have not worked with one in years, I recall having quite a few problems with drivers and BSOD issues related to them when working on other people's PCs. If you have access to an ATI or nVidia card and are willing to give it a go, let me know how things turn out.
  24. Actually that is quite awesome! I could see using one of these for a cab - kinda neat to be able to access the PC from the keyboard tray!!! Now if they would do that with Atari 800 XL than I'll be there having owned one for a good number of years before making the jump to DOS/Windows machines!
