Since you can change the view on a per system basis, then the answer would be yes. Once you select the emulator, you can then have the emulator display the standard list view, static or video snaps views. This would require either a very basic theme background throughout, or several different layouts depending upon the subject matter.

Absolutely! She obviously has much more time and emotion invested in her girlfriend than she does you at this point and even if the two of you were an item, that is not something I would even dream of saying to my significant other unless there was something more pressing going on with me (i.e., dying, on fire, something like that). I also agree with Adultery on the issue with the age. 18-25 has no clue yet what they want out of a relationship. That is not to say nothing could come of it, but having been there myself and burned terribly emotionally, etc., I would strongly caution against it.

I think I am sporting a virtual woody over this change! I like the flow of this a lot! Ideas are forming on how I would like to skin for that view. So when will it be ready for release? Huh? Are we there yet?

A lot depends.. can your digital photo frames be used as another monitor via USB?

Trust me, I understand and think it would be a great feature to expand the No Image Found capability to all image/video graphics. Keep in mind that I often like to play "Devil's Advocate" at times to further draw out pros and cons of a situation.

Out of curiosity, what is the number of the last emulator it showed within Theme Editor?

Or, instead of having GameEx creating a patch for the missing images, have you considered looking for the missing marquees, etc. and creating your own? While I agree that it wouldn't take much possibly for the option to be expanded for the paths other than the snaps, I would much rather see the actual artwork.

No fast way I can think of, Mi Amigo. First, I would recommend downloading Tempest's SkinnyMatch and run that against your MAME ROM and Marquees Paths to identify which ROMs do not have a matching marquee image. Next, and this is what is going to take time, I would suggest either creating one of your own or using the NO_IMAGE.png in your LOGO path. Easiest way from here is load it in your image editor (scale if you wish), and then save it as ROMNAME.png for each ROM not matched in the marquees path.

IMHO, I would say if you know you will never play it, then delete it altogether. I do not envy anyone that has to do that to 30+ emulators, but honestly, I think you will save in performance all around. I think that option 3 of the above is most sound.

That is a unique idea. I think that the video snaps on the TV would look better in conjunction with the cartridge displayed. Coming along good!

LOL! Rick Rolled 8-bit style! Speaking of 8-Bit music, was thinking about loading up on 8-bit mixes of game themes and rock & pop tunes. Would be a cool alternative to the arcade ambience and, in most cases, less distracting than full on vocal versions.
