Current configs should be fine, however, in light of recent events for you, I would recommend making a backup before each and every update (Might consider noting the folder name with the version it represents pre-update).

Sounds like you have the details to perform your own initial search regarding LCD monitors. If you see anything that sounds promising, by all means, let us see some links and details. Mike,this theme looks great! You need to upload it to the GameEx site! I think I have a little inspiration now for a cab-based theme... after I finish my next 1920x1080 HTPC theme submission.

OK, have to agree that two is the least straining. Here are 3 more variations for your opinion - I have removed the background hex pattern layer that was in variations on the previous that seemed to be causing a bit of eye strain and replaced with white, black, or grey.

I am testing a new effect (three variations) for a possible theme and would like your feedback on which you like better or if at all - thanks! I am leaning towards the 3rd one myself.

Always a good idea to backup but generally not a problem to upgrade.

Dan - can you please upgrade to the latest version of GameEx and report back as to whether this resolves your issue or still a problem? Your log file shows you have 11.69 installed. There were some issues occurring with Theme Editor that have been resolved in recent installments. Current version is 11.84.

If by rectifying the issue, you mean to supply you with the ROMs, we do not do that nor ask that in these forums (If i am correct in that assumption, consider this a warning). I think you know what you must do to rectify that issue on your own!

Unusual and damning as her behavior was after her child was missing and even during the trial, it isn't enough to convict someone. When you think about it, anyone willfully committing a crime of violence is not behaving in a normal manor. I expect no less in other aspects of their life. But that alone is not enough to erase reasonable doubt. Circumstantial evidence requires clear proof of intent. It wasn't there and doubt prevailed.

I selected the H264 option along with mp4. I then downloaded ffpmepg when prompted during the conversion process. I extracted ffmpeg to its own folder (c:\ffmpeg) along with the supporting files and folders. I selected the H264 option. Also I browsed to the ffmpeg folder and clicked on ffmpeg.exe then OK. That is about it, my file converted from avi to mp4 with full sound.

Dan - you will need to modify the theme using the Theme Editor. To remove an item (in this case of the text at the bottom of your image Select 1 and Select 2), you can click on it within the display (the outline will turn red) - then look on the lower right. You should see an "eye" button under the Properties section of the theme editor. If you click this it should disable the text from displaying (you will see the text for Select 1/2 disappear). You can follow the same steps to "remove" the Home button from view as well. Once finished, click the Save icon. Let me know if this works for you or if you have any further questions.

In some ways I am glad she didn't get convicted. Not to say I don't think she is guilty because I believe she is. Just that the prosecution did not have the evidence to clearly connect her to the child's death. I would rather this happen than see someone innocent convicted under similar evidence circumstances. There have been too many convicted wrongly for less evidence.
