  1. Thanks! I tried deleting the game before and then it the game didn't run. I did not run the update. Now it works fine. I really appreciate your help. Murb
  2. Thanks for you help. This was resolved with a GameEx upgrade. Works like a charm now. GameEx makes my arcade cabinet awesome. Murb
  3. I apologize for not closing out this post. This was resolved with a recent upgrade for Mame32 and GameEx. Thanks for all your help. Murb
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. I will have to try BLISS out. Nostalgia is a bit quirky for sure. Murb
  5. Thanks once again! Murb
  6. Thanks so much. That did the trick. I changed the command line and the "WaitBeforeKeys" line as you suggested. Perfect. Murb
  7. Sorry, my problem is not that the Intellivision emulator starts in the GUI, but that it will not load the roms as per my previous description. I'm confusing my problems. Thanks, Murb
  8. Hi, now I'm trying to get the Intellivision emulator, Nostalgia, to work in Gameex. I see all the games listed on the Gameex menu, but when i select a game I get the message "unable to load ROM from file". I am able to load the games without a problem when I select them directly from Nostalgia. I have the correct game path in Gameex. Here is the emulator config: [Emulator_14] Enabled=True System=Mattel Intellivision Category=Console Emulator=Nostalgia Version=4.2 Rating= DownloadUrl=http://www.gamesdbase.com/setupwizard/emulators/download/nostalgia.7z RequiredFiles= Website=http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/misc/nostalgia.html Info=Mattel Intellivision TITLETEXT=Mattel Intellivision STARTPAGENAME=Mattel Intellivision (Nostalgia) StartPageLogo=Mattel Intellivision Command=nostalgia.exe "[ROMPATH][ROMFILE]" ROMFilter= Database=[Console] Mattel Intellivision ConfigFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close) MapFile= RomPath=C:\Emulators\Nostalgia\roms SnapPath=C:\Assets\Mattel Intellivision\Snaps TitlePath=C:\Assets\Mattel Intellivision\Titles BoxPath=C:\Assets\Mattel Intellivision\Boxes CartPath=C:\Assets\Mattel Intellivision\Cartridges ManualPath=C:\Assets\Mattel Intellivision\Manuals ControlPanelPath=C:\Assets\Mattel Intellivision\Controls WorkingPath=C:\Emulators\Nostalgia MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=False ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=False RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=True Debug=False AlsoLaunch= OLDatZip= LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic=False DontShowInfo= PlaySelectionMusic=False SelectionMusicFolder= PCGame=False GamesIn7Zips=False PlayInScreenSaver=False ShowMostPlayed=True RandomMostPlayed=True CDCheck=False CDCheckFile= Thanks for your help. 11. Hi, I'm making great progress with getting my MAME favorites to work with Gameex. I appreciate all the terrific help from this forum. For some reason, whenever I try to run the game "Gauntlet" via Gameex, the Spanish version appears. When I run it from MAME32, the English version (rev 14) comes up. It seems the English version is titled "Gauntlet" and the Spanish version is "Gauntlets" (with an "s" at the end). Here is the Runitgame.bat file from Gameex: @ECHO OFF C: CD "C:\Emulators\Mame32" MameUI32.exe gauntlets -rompath "C:\Emulators\Mame32\roms" -nowindow -joy -skip_gameinfo -resolution 336x240 -nohwstretch It shows that it is starting "gauntlets" which would be the Spanish version. How do I get Gameex to start "gauntlet"? Thanks, Murb
  12. Hi, I'm back and virus free. Again, I truly appreciate all of your help. In the interim, I noted that when I started Mekaw outside of Gameex that it was now starting in a small window. In the Mekaw config file in the GUI video mode section, I changed the gui_video_driver to "auto" and now mekaw starts the gui in full screen. When I load a game, it stays in full screen. I thought that would fix the problem in Gameex as well, but no such luck. Since I change the start_in_gui to 0, Gameex goes right to the game, but after initially showing the game briefly in full screen, it then converts to a window. This is the same size window as Mekaw was starting in prior to me changing the "gui_video_driver" from "auto_win" to "auto" as I noted above. For some reason, when I start Mekaw in Gameex it is reverting back to the small window. Here is the Mekaw config file: MEKA 0.72 - Configuration File ; -----< VIDEO DRIVERS >------------------------------------------------------ This is a list of video/graphic card drivers available in this version of Meka. 13. I apologize, I seem to have contracted a computer virus. I can not start Gameex currently. Please allow me to get this resolved and I will then post the config file. Thanks, Mike
