  1. Added the following accessories: This is a good idea for quick connecting the ROG Ally to Ethernet and peripherals such as an external monitor, keyboard, mouse, additional external drives, etc. = pretty much turns the Ally into a desktop PC if you'd rather, however, I find it easier to work on configs and installing games rather then dealing with the text pad keyboard. iVANKY Legion Go/ROG Ally/Steam Deck Dock with 65W PD Charger, 8-in-1 Hub Docking Station with HDMI 4K@60Hz Gigabit Ethernet, USB-A 3.0, 100W Charging USB-C Port for Valve Stream Deck A little protection and for on the go. ButterFox Large Carrying Case Bag For ASUS Rog Ally Handheld 2023, Fits Charger and ASUS Charging Dock, Large Pocket for 65W Battery Pack, Slim Mouse and HDMI Cable And screen protection with anti-glare (matte) finish that also helps hide finger prints and smears JSAUX ROG Ally Screen Protector 2-Pack, Anti Glare 9H Hardness Tempered Glass Screen Protector with Guiding Frame, 7 inch Full Coverage Anti-Scratch Screen Protector for ASUS ROG Ally Gaming Handheld
  2. Are you using an interface or plugging the guns directly to the PC via USB?
  3. P.S. Your response with the gameex.ini and log.txt files attached was accidentally deleted as I noticed a duplicate post. Attempting to delete one deleted both, so we will need another copy of your gameex.ini file as well. My apologies and thanks!
  4. Can you attach your log.txt file after attempting to use the gun(s)? Thanks!
  5. I do not run this emulator so not sure I am going to be much help. In looking at the log.txt file I did not see any "missing file error" noted. Can you try loading one again and provide a new log.txt copy? Also, look for a copy of runitgame.bat and attach - thanks!
  6. Also, you may want to review the response found here for correct command line:
  7. Please attach (no copy & paste of contents please) copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. Thanks!
  8. IF the dispatch goes out as planned, I fully expect the package to be held up at customs in NY for a week or two, so maybe early February-ish?
  9. I finally had a chance to load a game from Steam - Brutal Legend. Not a current "AAA" title, but compatible with the "Xbox" controller layout which to me is gold because I don't have to wrangle button or stick assignments. So far the temps have yet to exceed 62C during game play which is below my expectations. I see online where others are throwing every graphic enhancement and Turbo Mode and max FPS on AAA titles. Then they wine about thermal issues. Many don't have any heat dissipation on their stock or mod chips. I am less likely to play most stuff in Turbo Mode even if they support it as I am playing to a 7" 1920 x1080 screen. Works for me!
  10. So far temps are averaging in the 39-45c range at idle post mod. I have yet to push it with a power hungry AAA title, but suspect that if my idle temps are relatively unchanged, then maximums should be nominal.
  11. Another thing to try might be to download the PinballX install file again and install over the top of the existing installation. This will often times overwrite a corrupt file from a bad install process.
  12. Here is a video that details the process:
  13. Santa was good to me this year and gifted me with a Asus ROG Ally Extreme. It comes with a 512GB 2230 M.2 mini SSD. Upgrading to a 2280 M.2 without modifying the case and internals will not void the warranty. I will be adding the following: Rog Ally Handheld Conversion 2230 to 2280 SSD Hard Drive Expansion Board WD_BLACK 4TB SN850X NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 7,300 MB/s - WDS400T2X0E M.2 Heatsink Copper, m2 pcie NVMe Laptop PS5 Heatsink Copper, with Silicone Thermal Pad, for M.2 2280 SSD Laptop There are many videos and Reddits available detailing this process with as many recommendations, and, of course, opinions regarding power draw and temperature concerns. Current idle temps are running at 43C average. I have not stressed it with games via Turbo mode as I did not want to install anything only to have to do so again. I have chosen to go the route of system restore via BIOS rather than cloning the drive. More to follow...
  14. Can you please attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files (no copy and paste of text)? Thanks!
  15. Per the Christmas Update it appears that the dispatch will be delayed until at least the 2nd week of January for my order.
  16. My daughter ordered the Lightgun on 12/9 but given 2-3 weeks lead time. Will need to have her follow-up.

    Fuzzy Font

Change to a default TTF such as Ariel or Calibri to see if it may just be a font issue? Also, what is your default Windows text size? If it is other than 100%, try changing it to that.
  18. What is the new user name you wish to have associated with your profile? If this can be changed, that would be helpful. Thanks.
  19. I just wanted to take a few minutes to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Please take the time to spend with your family be it with the one you were born into and/or the one you made from your friendships along the way. This season brings with blessings for many, but curses for some. As we get older, we see more empty seats at the table. We notice we are moving a little slower and the reality that our seat will one day be empty is sobering for some, saddening to most. Forums, social media, and text messages fill some of the voids and the time, but there's nothing like a phone call to an old friend or exchanging stories from the past with family over a cup of something hot. My Christmas wish for you is that you are not alone. If not for just one day, put aside whatever spat or differences exist and tell your parents and siblings that you love them. I tell mine every day, even though their "earthly ears" have gone in recent years and I only feel their pressnce in the stories I share with my family and in my heart. Rekindle an old friendship or maybe even a love. Christmas miracles do happen, but unlike a Hallmark movie, someone has to make the first effort and all involved have to work to keep the fires stoked. May God's blessings be with you all! Mike
  20. I will likely upgrade to a larger m.2 drive on it as well. Looking to run some of the emulated handheld games (GB, GBA, Sega GameGear, etc.) as well as some of the more handheld friendly current titles.
  21. I have asked Santa to put this in my stocking: Asus ROG Ally Extreme Keep us posted. Maybe Tom will have some ideas as more info is available. If Santa is good to me I will try GameEx Arcade Edition with minimal bling, starting with Steam integration at first.
  22. Assuming you are referring to this handheld: Lenovo Legion Go Do you know if they are using a full or modified version of Windows 11? I am concerned that GameEx is not seeing the Windows version. Also, looks like you are throwing your entire emulator setup at this device. As a sanity check, I suggest starting smaller and getting one or two emulators up and running rather than your entire library.
  23. Please attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files for review for this issue. Also, be mindful of where you are opening a thread for a prompt response as this was moved from the GameEx section of the forums.
  24. You're welcome! I know what I will be setting up again soon!
