  1. You can call me Mike if you prefer. I am fine either way.
  2. Please attach copies of your gameex.ini (located under \GameEx\Config or \GameEx Arcade Edition\config) and log.txt (located under \GameEx\Log or \GameEx Arcade Edition\Log) files as previously requested several times now. The N95 also sports an Intel UHD Integrated GPU (make not given in any stats for the model N95. Have you tried playing the .mp4 files directly through Windows Media Player? Results? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics drivers? The link below refers to Windows 10 but the same applies to Windows 11. https://www.appgeeker.com/resource/can-not-play-videos-with-windows-10.html

    Help please

Hi there - to ensure a quicker response please note the following: When reporting an issue, it is best to attach copies of your pinballx.ini and log.txt files for review Be mindful of where you are in the forums when you open a thread - this one was opened in the GameEx > General forum Also, noted that you said "the legends pinball table does not recognize it and won't turn on." Are you trying to modify an At Games Legends Pinball table? If so, is it running PinballX as the frontend? Thanks!
  4. Since the issue is occurring for your specidic N100 Mini PC build, there may not be a solution specific to it. Please attach copies of the previously requested gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. Also, confirm if this is the same N100 powered mini PC: Be aware that there may not be much that can be done if the issue is due to integrated GPUs as we have seen various issues in the past that have impacted some laptop or standard PC builds and the only alternative was to run an onboard GPU. In the mean time we do ask for the following info: Since the "Ni100 Intel" is installed in quite a few mini-PCs, please provide: Mini PC Manufacturer name and Model A manufacturers link to the one you purchased A purchasing link for your mini PC (i.e. Amazon, Best Buy, etc.) This information may help towards a solution or at least provide others another make/model to avoid.
  5. Welcome back! Some things have changed but most remain the same.
  6. I split your post to its own thread. The issues reported by Jombee are related to older Arcade VGA which is a legacy product that has been losing support over the years. If you are having a problem, please describe it in detail, not "other people are reporting it" anf attach copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. You brought up codecs. A few questions: Are you having an issue just with videos? Are you using ONLY using LAV codecs filters?
  7. The Strong National Museum of Play has announced the 12 games nominated in 2024 for the World Video Game Hall of Fame: Asteroids Elite Guitar Hero Metroid Myst Neopets Resident Evil Tokimeki Memorial Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Ultima You Don’t Know Jack Read more here: World Video Game Hall of Fame Cast your vote once per day between March 14 - 21 2024: Players Choice Ballot
  8. Thank you for reporting back with your solution! Glad you got it fixed!
  9. You're welcome! The thanks goes to @Phantom as I chanced upon a thread where he noted having it installed and had a recent gameex.ini file with the Clone Hero settings enclosed.
  10. Any other changes occur within the last three days? Do any of the ROMS launch directly from MAME since the error occured?
  11. 3 MONTH UPDATE: So far really enjoying this handheld a lot. Using Retroarch to emulate N64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. Other than some issues (which are fixable) with controls assignments, it just works and very well. Will give GameEx Arcade Edition a go soon and add to the emulator mix.
  12. Nice theme you got there! Tell us more! Links to find and additional stats of your build (storage, GPU and CPU stats, etc.)!
  13. Did you just recently upgrade your version of MAME? The error may be a variation of an issue that occurs if the app or individual doesn't have full rights to the folder containing the file. Also, are you able to locate the listinfo.xml file on your system? I am running MAME 0.258 and have done a full PC search and cannot find anything close with the same file name.
  14. Web based as in you have to use it via an internet connection? Or HTML driven locally? I could see some potential for user adoption issues with the first for frequent tinkerers and testers that do not have their rig connected externally.
  15. I understand and hope all gets better soon!
  16. Benefits of updating - well, since we are up to version 18.60 (vs. your 5.31) there is the matter of support because any programatic fixes that may come about would require it. Given that your rig is on XP, the newer versions are not going to be compatible. If everything is working well still and you are happy with it, then don't upgrade. There are a number of users over the years that have gotten things set "just right" and disconnected their machines from the internet. There are many of them that have had to come back because something breaks requiring them to upgrade because their kit is running an on an out of support OS, drivers, GPU, etc. for the new parts. Typically it is a hard drive or an arcade monitor or mainboard components that have to be replaced. There are - so long as Tom supports the software - always newer features and capabilities and even derivitive versions of GameEx. Wish I could say more. Back up what you can and plan for a future upgrade.
  17. If you can launch Task Manager you will need to see what apps are starting up or look in the Startup folder - really hard to guide you here since I have no idea what Windows version or GameEx version is at hand. Can you locate the the gameex.ini and log.txt files and attach them in reply to this thread?
  18. That old will likely need to be updated on many levels as you are probably aware.
  19. Did you purchase this machine pre-configured from a 3rd party? If possible, please locate your gameex.ini and log.txt files for review. Likely Instant Sheller is installed and running at startup. Try hitting U on your keyboard when booting the machine.
  20. I might have this sorted out. Mind you I do not have the music files or controllers setup but I was able to finally get this to launch with the following settings - your paths will likely be different so modify accordingly: Give that a try in an emulator slot. There may be some additional tweaks to be made but this should get you started. Let us know how you get on with this. Thanks!
  21. The emulator setup should handle that, The command line link is only applicable to Chart Previews via command line so may not be of help, There are other "command line" options when launchintg from a shortcut regarding video rendering, but still, after quite a bit of digging, not finding anything useful. The app itself is written in Unity but not sure that is helpful info to getting this to launch. Will try to find something. One question I failed to ask - have you confirmed that you can launch and play the game directly outside of GameEx?
  22. Since there are some command line options available to preview and launch songs via "bots" it may be possible to leverage an Emulator slot to launch the songs. Read more about command line options mentioned here: https://wiki.clonehero.net/books/clone-hero-manual/page/chart-previews-via-the-command-line
  23. Hi would you mind attaching copies of your gameex.ini and log.txt files (no copy and paste please) for review? There may be some alternative ways to launch this for you to try but I would prefer to see what you have setup presently.
