@Tom Speirs Just did some testing with previous version. Since systems are introduced in version 3.49 (If I recall it right), in the system list, it only shows the underlay of (properly) the first underlay it can find. Not sure if it should have the same feature as in favorites, where the underlay is changing [er system, or that we can have a "- system -.png" to have an default underlay

Multiple people got issues with Nvidia drivers too. When having an older NVIDIA driver, do an upgrade first

Yes. Only thr system list. First time I use different underlays with names, so not sure if this ever worked correctly

I just wanted to post the exact same question. I think @PcTeknic has the same issue I just bumped up too. @HiRez00 created for me system underlays (thank you very much for this, those are really awesome), but in the systems menu It only shows the fx3 underlay image is shown (thats the first system it finds) , but this image stays there, even switching to another system. Should this change, or should we have an underlay named - system - that will be showed in the system list ? These are the files in the system underlays directory : Showing correctly per system, but in the system list it shows like this : Always start with FX3 screen but switching to another table : the FX3 underlay is visible PinballX.ini and log file attached @Tom Speirs is this the way underlays works ? I tried to use a - system -.png , but that didn't work as well. PinballX.ini log.txt

Doesn’t what version you have. Couple of messages up, I srnd my vpx file, auther and version (thanks to @scutters for this peace of program in database manager) I have it downloaded from vpforums, but if you want, I can send it too yoy. But think somethink else causing an issue on your pc

i asume you don't have pinballx running in compatibility mode ? Check eventlog if the program is crashing

According to your log : V:\Stella\Stella.exe V:\Stella\Roms\Adventures of TRON (USA) I should put quotes on them. Does stella needs a extension too ? Maybe you need to add this ? See next post that has a simular is with Nestopia:

I don't see in the log from playing Pin-bot that the table is launched. but the program stops. In your first log, the log just stopped. After you relaunched PBX, the log will be overwritten. So best way is to play, quit PBX and get the log file. I just tested on my cab southpark and started normally through PinballX Attached my log file. Can you try to turn off b2s in the front end ? According to the log. It never launched the table, but just stopped

The timeout in pbx is set to 90 sec. But I see that your table is launched within 52 seconds. So not simular to the other one

Easiest way is to split the files into 2 different folders. 1 for vpt and 1 for vpx. Than create an extra system for vpt with the correct executable. And setup visual pinball system for vpx. If you want to use all in 1 folder, you need to use alternate exe. Setup default folder for where you have the most tables from in the folder (must be vpx) and do the vpt with alternate exe. For easy use, use pinballx database manager
