Yes. My games (exvept the bally and williams) are all in a mono color. See my real dmd videos I created. All from original frams I captured with freezy. I will check if mine are still in color

The years should work, but you used a gif. Not sure if I ever made a gif to work with thid (as gifs are already animated) Building this, it was just for static images, but wants to update the program for gifs and/or apngs as well

Strapnge, typed this yesterday and forgot to press send. Thought also that the first question was different than the text now. The fading cant be removed. Maybe you can ask a feature request The rotation of tbe tables you can do with ffmpeg. Think Tom mention that in one of the news updates as well. I made a small program that can make loading videos with an overlay. It uses your playfield videos and just make short videos (loop of the overlay animations) See next post for a complete pack When using an overlay that is complete transparent, it can just create a video, rotated and a couple of sec. It will check all your playfield videos and can create missing ones. So adding new tables (or update them) and running tbe script, you ways have a seamless start This was the single app

As far as I remember, all the tables of fx3 are in mono colors. The colors can be different per table, but no multicolors

Hey, don't want to blame you! It's more that the pinball community is full of people who will create/mod tables in the free time and give it away free. Also the devs that update the emulator like visual pinball and future pinball. And off course people that creates the front end like pbx, that put the cherry on the cake. I've seen table authors that pulled all their work from the sites, because a crook sold his tables. You properly thought you made a good deal and realized later what you've done. So don't feel bad !
-
Yes, I use memory grabber as well. Most 'normall' tables are in cor (when I used it the last time). So, yiu are saying all is orange ? Or only the latest 5 packs ?

Did you bought PimballX with tables on ebay ??? Its all free softeare, why buy it? And plesse, I'm a very patience guy and try to help a lot, but first read manuals of PinbalkX, Databasemanager (really awesome program that 2 guys build for free as well). Also invest some time how emulators work, like Visual Pinvall, Future pinball, zen fx3, pinball arcade, zaccaria etc. Most can be found on this forum or on the net (Google is your friend) If you got specific questions you can reach out There is an option that the master, the person who gave use pinballx and gamex, @Tom Speirswill give you premium support. See https://www.spesoft.com/news/premium-support-sessions-.aspx Cheers and welcome to the club !

I don't understand. Do you only have issues with your dmd when launching from PimvallX and is it working out pbx fine ? If PBX 64 bit is working for you, keep it. Programs that run 64 bit has a better memory management. And apps that are 32 bit can be used as well. I run 64 bit of PBX as well, but have the 32bit of dmdext.exe. if it is working as you configured, just leave it Not sure about monster bash. Could be that Freezy uses that color. I think I have all the williams tables in orange as wel, but neex to check it on my cab. I normally play MB in vpx

Hey buddy, I have a big backlog as well ( from November), but Databasemanager will help with that. I still need to add someonez DOTD table and send him a picture . Only need time, and not a programming partner who beat me everytime with weekly challenges. If you need anything, just let me know. I owe you
-
I have the same device and using the 32bit version as well I only have the fullpath to the exe : C:\Pinball\DMDext\dmdext.exe mirror --source=pinballfx3 --no-virtual --quit-when-done -d pindmdv3

Didn't you have a 43" monitor with 120 or 144hz 4k screen with nvidia sync #mejelous -
Yes, but keep in mind to naming convention on the ftp and that you don't overwrite anything.

We use the PinbalX method to capture. As Scutters say, if table launches, but video isn't created, attach logfiles of Pinballx and Databasemanager after the issue occurs. Also the settings file of pinballx and database manager. Post all as attachment Btw. Which button do you use for creating table videos ? Bulk, or normal ? And for what system you are trying to capture it ?

In Databasemanager we made it easy for users who doesn't want to do all manually. In advanced search, you can create a filter. A filter represent the entry you normally have in your pinballx menu (So filter Gottlieb.ini, will show up as Gottlieb in the front end). You can setup a filter as you like in the advanced search and you will see directly what tables your filter represents. for example: When using an filter, some fields are greyed out, because they aren't filtered fields in PinballX But Tom added some custom fields to filter in PinballX like Comment, Theme and Author that we only have in Databasemanger I hope this make sense. Databasemanager can be downloaded in the download section

[RESOLVED] Can't get FX3 tables to launch directly
Mike_da_Spike replied to mikethinks's topic in General
You said you are in cabimet mode, you mean in fx3 ? So you request the cabinet key from Zen studio ? https://zenstudios.com/home/pinball-cabinet-support-request/ Try to do the same on a comnand line (so outside pbx). If this still fails, something is wrong with your fx3 With Databasemanager we tried to make it easy and we are addind all the tables that are released by Fx3 automatically. If you set up all correctly, please add your log file (do a launch pf a table and post your logfile after the issue occurs) and pinballx.ini as an attachment, so we can see what is going on. -

Ok.. well give him only old, slow tables . If it is just the feeling, there isn't anything we can do about it -

And always use hdmi 1. Whats the playfield tv you used ? Brand and type, to check what the specs are. -

Can I remind you that 53 us not really old for pinball nerds? Lag can come because of the playfield settings. Or even the response time of your monitor/tv. So, not sure what you use for playfield. Sometimes tv's has a console input setting , that will skip some upscaling chips in the tv, that will goes faster. Nice cabinet btw ! -
I thought your 64bit was broken ...
-
I run other apps that I needed in the past to run as admin. Doflinx, dmdext are 2 as an example I know. Maybe need to recheck my complete configuration
-
I'm still running pbx as admin ...

Good eyes @scutters. Didn't read that it is for a new front end. Well, don't invent the wheel again mate!. And if you event a new wheel, don't use autohotkey for it, but use c#
