  1. Good deal! Glad you got it sorted out. Enjoy! And welcome to the Forums!
  2. Thanks Tom!
  3. LOL. I guess you're implying that you're one of LAZY ones. No problem. There's too much going on that will complicate things so it's easiest just to provide the files. I will do all the testing to make sure it matches with current version of MESS and current no-intro romset. Will release tomorrow probably because I'm not home yet and still have to go to work tonight. So should be released soon.
  4. Yes. I noticed that the roms were not in the no-intro format so in this case changes will need to be made. Thanks for that thought. Editing is easy and it's what I'll do when I create it. The artwork names depend on the source. If the source is from MESS then the artwork has a simple rom name. If the artwork comes from emumovies then they will match the rom name. I guess the best thing to do is just include the artwork and the lay file so that users can just use it instead of making changes. I'll provide the needed files for all known naming convention romsets. I'll take a look at it when I get home to my system. This is still an easy thing to do yet users don't spend the time to do it. LOL. LAZY LAZY.
  5. I apologize. Was not at my system so was going off the GameEx website. I guess it's outdated and many things have been changed. I will no long quote it. LOL. Brian is correct. It is found in Input Settings and the setting is In Game Key.
  6. Not sure if it can be eliminated all together. I believe I remember it having to be set to something. So just change to another button that doesn't conflict with your control panel.
  7. I don't use MESS for vectrex but I will post the needed lay format to match the no-intro naming convention as soon as possible. I'll post when it is complete and it will be found on the user submissions page or also can be linked from my signature. Not a hard thing to do since Vectrex doesn't have very many roms. Don't see why it hasn't been posted before.
  8. This is the virtual key code that when pressed will display the control panel when playing a game.
  9. Does this apply to MAME, emulators, both? Is it just the "L" key that is causing this? No other button combination? If for MAME, perhaps it's the Ingame CP View VK found in the Advanced MAME Settings section of setup. This defaults to "L". So may need to change this button so that it doesn't conflict with your setup. If it's not that then please give more info and we'll help troubleshoot.
  10. It shouldn't help since you're changing the default image from the command-line.
  11. I'm sure there's a few kids who might even mess that one up. LOL. Thanks for the share though. I would have beaten a lot more games if they were that easy.
  12. Are you calling settings from mame.ini perhaps? If using mame.ini then maybe it's being called in there.
  13. Thanks Tom!
  14. Wow! You guys sure were productive little ones. I spent my child hood sitting on my a$$ in front of the tv playing video games.
  15. I personally can not duplicate this issue. But thanks for the report! Tom will look into it. Also try to include as much info as possible. Perhaps which emulators are causing this, which method of exiting the emulator, etc.
  16. I'll check in from time-to-time to see if you're on. If anything then just PM me and I'll try to get to you ASAP.
  17. Well it's a simple thing of adding the fullscreen switch in the renderer.cfg file. But now I'm confused as what's going on since you've made a few changes. I would start from scratch and we'll go step-by-step to get it going. If you want real-time support then head to the chatroom and we'll go from there so it will be faster to troubleshoot instead of going back and forth in the forums.
  18. That would definitely explain it! now to figure out why it does that for you.
  19. Do I feel a Ban coming on? Be careful what you say!
  20. That could also work as well. In which case zinc options would be: --use-config-file=zinc.cfg
  21. And we now know why some have so many posts (not support but nonsense).
  22. It seems that the renderer file is never being called which stumps me cuz you said it still loads. Hmmmmmm. But I would change ZincOptions to: --renderer=.\winogl\renderer.znc According to your Zinc config from your first post then this should be correct. Forgot to put the "=". Let me know how that works. It should load the correct renderer in GameEx. If still have issues then post the new issue.
  23. Please post your Zinc options being used in GameEx.
  24. mame.ini is my choice of running things as well as it handles all the settings with out having to set everything in the command-line. Yes I was aware you weren't askin but I was just commenting on your comment.
